Mega Diancie ex Mega Battle Deck: Contents and MSRP (2025)
By Dexhaul Team · October 5, 2026
The Mega Diancie ex Mega Battle Deck is a complete, ready-to-play 60-card Pokémon TCG deck built around Mega Diancie ex. It released October 24, 2025, on the same day as its sibling product, the Mega Gengar ex Mega Battle Deck. The Pokémon Company International did not announce an MSRP; independent sellers list it from $22.99 as of October 5, 2026.
That price gap versus Mega Gengar ex is the standout data point here. Both decks contain the same component types, yet Diancie lists $8 higher at floor. The difference comes entirely from collector demand.
Diancie is the only Mythical Pokémon among the 48 original Mega Evolutions introduced in X & Y and Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. Mythical Pokémon are events-only distributions in the main games, and that scarcity carries over into collector demand for TCG products built around them.
For players, the two decks play differently despite similar packaging. Pick the one whose strategy suits your local Mega Evolution format lineup.
What's inside
Every Mega Diancie ex Mega Battle Deck ships with five components.
| Item | Quantity | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 60-card prebuilt deck | 1 | Mega Diancie ex as the featured card; full card list not published by TPCi |
| Playmat | 1 | Mega Diancie ex themed artwork |
| Coin | 1 | Mega Diancie ex design |
| Deck box | 1 | Holds 60 unsleeved or sleeved cards (60-card capacity) |
| TCG Live code card | 1 | Unlocks the digital version of this deck in Pokémon TCG Live |
The deck box holds exactly 60 cards sleeved, which covers the full deck. Add sleeves separately if you plan to play competitively.
MSRP and observed prices
TPCi published no suggested retail price for the Mega Diancie ex Mega Battle Deck. The table below shows observed prices at independent shops as of October 5, 2026. DexHaul is independent and unofficial; these are storefront prices from merchant listings, not a price guarantee.
| Price tier | Observed range (Oct 5, 2026) | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Floor | $22.99 | Standard Mega Battle Deck box |
| Mid-range | $25.00–$34.99 | Most independent shop listings |
| High end | $50.00–$57.00 | Premium or international seller pricing |
One listing at $103.00 is labeled "Metal Battle Deck" and represents a premium collector variant, not the standard product covered here.
How it compares
Both Mega Battle Decks share identical component types. The price spread is the only meaningful difference at the product level.
| Product | Launch | MSRP | Floor (Oct 5, 2026) | Contents |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mega Diancie ex Mega Battle Deck | Oct 24, 2025 | Not announced | $22.99 | 60-card deck, playmat, coin, deck box, code card |
| Mega Gengar ex Mega Battle Deck | Oct 24, 2025 | Not announced | $14.99 | 60-card deck, playmat, coin, deck box, code card |
| Rival Battle Decks (Marnie vs Steven) | 2026 | Not announced | Varies | Two 60-card decks plus shared accessories |
The $8 floor gap between the two sibling Battle Decks is entirely a demand premium for Diancie as a Mythical. The boxes and components are the same.

Who it's for, and who should skip it
The Mega Diancie ex Mega Battle Deck suits three buyer types.
Players entering the Mega Evolution format
Both Mega Battle Decks are plug-and-play. You buy the box and the deck is ready to go. If your local Mega Evolution lineup includes Diancie-type matchups, this deck gives you a legal starting point without building from singles.
Collectors focused on Mythical Pokémon
Diancie is the only Mythical Pokémon in the original 48-Mega lineup confirmed via Serebii's ORAS Mega Evolution list. For collectors who specifically track Mythical Pokémon TCG products, the Mega Diancie ex Battle Deck is the primary sealed product in the Mega Evolution era for that character.
Gift buyers this season
At $22.99 floor, this is one of the more affordable complete Mega Evolution TCG experiences available heading into the gift season. It pairs naturally with the Mega Gengar ex Mega Battle Deck as a two-player gift set, since both decks cover the same components and work against each other.
Skip it if you already have both Battle Decks and are looking for booster content. This product contains no booster packs; it is a prebuilt deck only. For sealed-format booster buying in the ME era, see the Pokémon TCG battle decks and format guide.
