Pokémon GO Fest 2026 Merchandise: Every Official Item Still Available
By Dexhaul Team · September 9, 2026
Pokémon GO Fest 2026 is over. The events in Tokyo, Chicago, and Copenhagen wrapped up months ago. The official merchandise is still here.
Niantic sells GO Fest gear through its own storefront, pokemongomerchandise.com, and the 2026 lineup is still fully available: hoodie, T-shirt, lapel pin, and tote bag. If you attended and want a second item, or if you missed the events entirely, this guide walks through what's in stock, what each piece is worth, and one TCG-adjacent angle most Pokémon GO fans overlook.
Dexhaul is independent and unofficial. We link to merchant listings so you can compare and buy direct.
What GO Fest 2026 Was
Pokémon GO Fest is Niantic's annual in-person event series for Pokémon GO players. In 2026, the theme was Mewtwo.
Three cities hosted in-person events: Tokyo, Chicago, and Copenhagen. Each featured ticketed gameplay sessions, city-specific spawns, and a shared event merchandise line sold at the venue. After the events ended, Serebii.net documented the overall GO Fest 2026 structure, including the Mewtwo-centric Special Research line.
The in-person merchandise was available at the venue during the event weekend. But the main product line (the hoodie, pin, shirt, and tote) is sold online through the official Niantic store and ships worldwide. That distinction matters: there is no scarcity pressure on the online items, and no reason to pay inflated reseller prices for them.
The Four Official Online Items
The lapel pin ($12.99) is the entry point. Each year's pin carries the event year and theme art, making it the most collectible format in the lineup.
The T-shirt ($27.00) is the standard wearable. It carries the 2026 Mewtwo festival graphic and is sold in multiple sizes. The hoodie ($54.99) uses the same graphic on a heavier weight garment.
Both ship from the official Niantic store with no markup.
The tote ($24.99) is the fourth item. It is a canvas carry bag with the GO Fest 2026 branding, useful if you want something functional with the event art.
One thing most buyers miss: the official store keeps prior years in the catalogue. The 2023 GO Fest lapel pin is still listed at $12.99.
If you collect one pin per year, you can complete back to at least 2019 without paying reseller prices. No other licensed Pokémon merchandise line maintains an active historical archive like this.
In-Venue vs. Online: What the Events Actually Sold
At the GO Fest venues themselves, Niantic also sold event-specific items that did not make it into the online store. Resellers who attended the events bring some of these to market afterward.
One example: an "Official Pokemon GO Tour 2026 Pin" ($24.99) has appeared from resellers on the secondary market. This is distinct from the $12.99 lapel pin in the official online store. The naming suggests it was a venue-exclusive or tour-specific release rather than part of the main online lineup.
The practical takeaway: if an item is not on pokemongomerchandise.com, it was likely in-venue only and any listing you find is secondary market. The four items above (hoodie, T-shirt, lapel pin, tote) are available at list price with no reseller markup.
The Korean Mega Festa: A TCG Connection
Korea runs a parallel event called the Mega Festa instead of GO Fest. In 2026, the Korean Mega Festa came with an exclusive physical TCG promo card: Magikarp 040/M-P, a Korean-exclusive numbered card in the M-P promo series.
This card is not available through any online store or booster pack. The only path to it is through resellers who attended the Korean event. Current secondary market pricing runs $79.90 to $106 depending on the seller and whether it includes the original packaging.
It is a niche collectible. Magikarp is not a high-demand TCG subject on its own, but the exclusivity of the M-P series promo number and the Korean event origin creates a floor. Players who collect GO-exclusive TCG promos across regions consider this a must-have for the set.
If you track Japanese and Korean GO event promos separately from standard sets, this is the 2026 entry.
What to Buy and Where
If you want the standard 2026 GO Fest merchandise, buy direct from pokemongomerchandise.com at list price. There is no reason to pay more than $12.99 for the lapel pin, $27.00 for the T-shirt, $54.99 for the hoodie, or $24.99 for the tote.
If you specifically want the hoodie for the Mewtwo graphic and plan to wear it as a daily garment rather than a collector's item, the hoodie is the right choice. The T-shirt covers the same art at a lower price point.
The lapel pin is the most compact and most collectible format. It photographs well, stores easily, and the $12.99 price point means prior years' pins (2019 through 2025) are still available at the same price. That is an unusual value position: a multi-year pin series at a flat price with no inflation for older editions.
If you are looking for the Korean Mega Festa Magikarp promo or any in-venue-only items, expect secondary market pricing and factor in condition. These are not available at list price anywhere.
