Leafeon in 2026: Five Collector Targets, One for Every Budget

Leafeon is one of the quieter Eeveelutions in competitive play, but its collector profile tells a different story.
The Grass-type Eeveelution introduced in Diamond and Pearl has accumulated two distinct premium Alt Art cards from separate eras, a sealed product built around its VSTAR form, and a plush line that spans from $19 imports to $191 studio figures. No legendary status, no marquee competitive deck. Just consistent demand from collectors who want to complete the Eeveelution set or who love the design.
These are the five Leafeon targets worth knowing in 2026, organized from the most accessible to the highest tier.
1. The Entry Plush: Pokémon Fit Leafeon ($19)
Start here if you collect plush.
The Pokémon Fit (also sold as Pokémon Center Fit) line uses a rounded, simplified silhouette that scales consistently across all 900-plus Pokémon. Leafeon's version captures the leaf-ear tufts and the spiral leaf on the forehead without the complexity that sometimes makes other lines look cluttered. At $19, it sits at the lower end of the licensed plush market and imports well from Japan.
If you want something larger, the I Choose You Plush at $25 uses a more detailed pose-sculpt and is also widely available. The Sanei All Star Collection version at $29.99 adds slightly more articulation in the leaf details. All three are licensed products, so quality control is consistent.
2. The Daily Player Card: Leafeon ex (006/131, Prismatic Evolutions)
The standard Leafeon ex from Prismatic Evolutions (SV8.5, January 2025) runs $3.00 to $5.50 depending on the seller.
This is the workhorse card for anyone who plays the Leafeon ex line in Standard. It sees occasional use in Eeveelution-theme decks and grass-type builds that lean on the Prismatic Evolutions set's synergy mechanics.
At this price, it is a straightforward pickup: no grading premium, no hype markup. The standard 006/131 print looks clean in a binder alongside the other Eeveelution ex cards from the same set.
The SIR version of this card (144/131) is a completely different tier and addressed below under the premium targets. For competitive or casual collectors who just want the card in their binder, the standard print is the right call.
3. The Mid-Range Milestone: Leafeon GX Secret Rare (157/156, Ultra Prism)
The Leafeon GX Secret Rare from Sun and Moon Ultra Prism (2018) is the clearest mid-range target in the Leafeon catalogue.
It carries a full-art rainbow foil treatment and lands consistently around $96. The GX era was the first time Eeveelutions had dedicated GX cards with individual artworks, and Ultra Prism is where Leafeon's Secret Rare art became a standalone collector item rather than just a bonus pull. The standard GX (13/156) at under $20 is a reasonable binder card, but the Secret Rare is the version most Eeveelution collectors specifically target.
Hidden Fates added a Shiny Vault Leafeon GX (SV46/SV94) at around $75. That card appeals to collectors who prefer the Shiny coloration variants; the Ultra Prism Secret Rare is the more common first-choice for Leafeon-focused binders.
4. The Sealed Shortcut: Leafeon VSTAR Special Collection ($160)
The Leafeon VSTAR Special Collection packages the Leafeon VSTAR promo card, two Sword and Shield booster packs, and a code card into a single retail box.
At $160, it is not a sealed-product deal in the conventional sense. The value is access: the VSTAR promo card is a foil alternate-art print not available through standard booster box pulls.
For Leafeon-specific collectors, it is the most direct path to the VSTAR card without hunting the singles market. If you only want the VSTAR singles card (Crown Zenith 014/159), that runs $4 raw, so the collection box is for collectors who want the dedicated promo version specifically.
5. The Premium Tier: Two SIR-Class Cards From Two Different Eras
This is where Leafeon's collector profile gets unusual.
Most non-legendary, non-starter Pokémon have one marquee premium card. Leafeon has two, from completely different Sword and Shield and Scarlet and Violet eras.
The Evolving Skies VMAX Alternate Art Secret Rare (SWSH07, 2021) sits around $415. The Prismatic Evolutions ex Special Illustration Rare (144/131, 2025) runs $340 to $365 depending on the seller and condition.
The Evolving Skies VMAX Alt Art is the older of the two and the more expensive. The illustration style uses a lush forest backdrop that makes it one of the most visually distinctive Eeveelution cards from that set. It came out during Evolving Skies, which was built around Eeveelutions and produced one of the highest concentrations of premium Eeveelution cards of any set released to date.
The Prismatic Evolutions SIR is newer and slightly lower in price. It uses the Special Illustration Rare treatment from the Scarlet and Violet era, which features a full-bleed painted-style artwork. Both cards target the same collector: someone building a high-end Leafeon binder page or completing a premium Eeveelution set.
The interesting thing is that these two cards do not compete with each other. They are from distinct product eras with different art styles and different grading histories. Serious Leafeon collectors typically want both.

Where Each Target Fits in a Collection
A practical read: the Pokémon Fit plush and the Prismatic Evolutions ex standard are the two items every Leafeon collector picks up first, usually at the same time. Together they cost under $25.
The Ultra Prism GX Secret Rare is the first real decision point. At $96, it is expensive enough to skip if you are only building a casual binder but obvious if you are committed to a complete Leafeon TCG page. Most collectors treat it as the milestone that separates casual interest from dedicated collecting.
The VSTAR Special Collection at $160 is a judgment call based on whether you want the promo or not. The sealed box is not a pullable product in the conventional sense: you are paying for the promo card access, not for the two booster packs inside.
The two premium cards at $340 and $415 are long-term targets for most collectors. Leafeon's position as a non-meta, non-legendary Eeveelution means its premium cards hold value within the Eeveelution collector community specifically, not through broad competitive demand. That is worth knowing before committing at that price point.
