Japanese Space Juggler (S10P) released April 8, 2022 and became part of English Astral Radiance (SWSH10), which launched May 27, 2022. It did not become the whole thing.

That distinction matters before you buy. Space Juggler is the Palkia half of a two-set series. Its companion, Time Gazer (S10D), released the same day and covers Dialga.

A third set, Battle Region (S9a), contributed additional cards to Astral Radiance when it launched in February 2022. The English product combined all three into one 246-card release.

Buying a Space Juggler box gives you one coherent, space-themed Japanese set with Origin Forme Palkia VSTAR as its centrepiece. It does not reproduce the English Astral Radiance experience in full.

The full list of card destinations is on Limitless TCG's S10P page, where each card shows its English print. If you pull a Space Juggler card and cannot find a matching EN print, it is a Japanese-exclusive rare that never received an English equivalent.

The 67-card base count for Space Juggler reflects only the numbered cards in the set. Actual pulls from a box include additional special art rares numbered above 067, which are Japanese-exclusive and have no English equivalents. These are the rarest hits in any S10P box.

By contrast, English Astral Radiance boxes hold 36 packs of 10 cards each. The Trainer Gallery (cards numbered TG01 through TG30) is an English-only insert subset that does not exist in any Japanese set from this era. It features full-art reprints of popular trainers with their Pokémon in lifestyle poses.

Key cards and their English destinations

Space Juggler's headline cards are the Origin Forme Palkia line. Origin Forme Palkia V and Palkia VSTAR both appear in English Astral Radiance with equivalent card text and artwork.

The Palkia VSTAR special art rare, however, is a Japanese-exclusive card with no English version at all. Check the S10P page on Limitless TCG for the full card-by-card English destination before buying singles.

Hisuian Pokémon dominate the Space Juggler card pool. Hisuian Voltorb, Hisuian Lilligant V, Hisuian Arcanine V, and Hisuian Electrode V all appear in the base 67, and all received English prints in Astral Radiance. The Hisuian evolution lines from Legends: Arceus were the thematic spine of the entire S10 series.

One important note for the Japanese sets reference guide: the Radiant Pokémon mechanic first appeared in English Astral Radiance but does not appear in S10P or S10D in the same form. Radiant cards in Japanese were distributed through promotional channels, not standard booster packs. This is why Radiant Charizard and Radiant Greninja, two of the most searched Astral Radiance pulls, will not appear in a Space Juggler box.

Japanese or English?

Price per pack

Japanese Space Juggler single packs run around $8.49 USD as of October 22, 2026, with five cards per pack. English Astral Radiance single packs run $12.00 USD with ten cards.

On a per-pack basis, the English pack costs more but delivers twice the cards. On a per-card basis, the two formats are broadly comparable. The Japanese pack also includes the chance at an exclusive special art rare with no English equivalent.

Play legality

Japanese Space Juggler cards are not legal in official English-language Pokémon TCG tournaments. English Astral Radiance cards rotated out of Standard format in the 2024-25 season. Both are now Expanded-legal only.

If you are playing competitively in English events, Japanese-language cards are not accepted at any officially sanctioned play.

Language and collectability

Japanese cards use kanji and hiragana throughout. A reader without Japanese-language skills will have no difficulty identifying the card, but reading the full card text requires a translation app or reference. For display and collection purposes, many collectors prefer the Japanese card stock: it is notably thicker and stiffer than its English equivalent, and the printing quality has historically been regarded as sharper.

Grading

Both PSA and CGC grade Japanese Space Juggler cards at standard rates. A Japanese card must be submitted with its Japanese name or the set listed; including the Limitless card number on the submission form avoids identification delays. Note that a Japanese Palkia VSTAR special art rare and an English Palkia VSTAR special art rare are different cards: each grades independently and commands a different market based on scarcity.
