By Dexhaul Team · October 19, 2026 · 6 min read
Delta Reign (ME06) is the sixth set in the Pokémon TCG Mega Evolution series, releasing November 6, 2026. It ships in nine distinct retail formats, from a $7.49 single-pack sleeve up to a $999+ sealed case.
If you only want to start opening packs, the Build and Battle Box is your only option before the November 6 retail launch. Prerelease events at local game stores begin October 24, 2026, and the Build and Battle Box is the exclusive product for those events.
For everything else, pre-orders are open now at multiple independent shops.
Here is the complete list.

Where to Start: Three Picks for Different Buyers
Not every format makes equal sense for every buyer. Here are the three clearest entry points.
The casual opener: Build and Battle Box
Four packs plus a 40-card ready-to-play deck give you a taste of the set and a functioning deck for prerelease events. It is also the only ME06 product available before November 6, because prerelease events at local game stores begin October 24. If you want to crack ME06 packs before everyone else, this is the only legal way in.
The collector's pick: Elite Trainer Box
Nine packs, 65 sleeves, 45 energy cards, six dice, a coin, and a storage box. The ETB is the most versatile Delta Reign purchase: enough packs to chase pulls, enough accessories to kit out a competitive deck, and a box that actually fits sleeved cards.
Wave 1 pre-orders have been sitting at a $109.99 floor since the product was announced. Wave 2 (shipping January 2027) is running lower at $99.99. Read the full breakdown in our Delta Reign ETB contents and price guide.
The volume buyer: Booster Box
Thirty-six packs in a single purchase. The Booster Box carries no accessories or promo cards: the entire cost goes toward raw packs.
At Wave 2 pre-order pricing of $229.99, that works out to roughly $6.39 per pack. Buying six Booster Bundles at the $44.95 floor also gives you 36 packs, plus six promo cards, for a small per-pack premium over the box price.
The Pokémon Center Exclusive: What's Different
The Pokémon Center ETB is the same nine-pack configuration as the standard ETB, but it adds an exclusive alternate-art promo card and upgraded accessories not found in the retail version. Pre-order prices are sitting around $261 USD, which is roughly 2.4 times the Wave 1 floor of $109.99 for the standard ETB.
Previous Mega Evolution series PC ETBs (ME04, ME05) sold out quickly at Pokémon Center US and have since commanded notable premiums on the secondary market. If the exclusive promo matters to you, ordering directly from pokemoncenter.com when it goes live is the safest route.
The Chase Cards: What the Set Features
Delta Reign centers on Mega Rayquaza and other Pokémon with Mega Evolutions from the set's confirmed card list. The four foil promos in the Build and Battle Box give a preview: Mega Rayquaza ex, Mega Golurk ex, Mega Malamar ex, and Mega Golisopod ex are the marquee cards.
Mega Rayquaza ex is the Special Illustration Rare (SIR) of the set. SIRs carry two gold stars in the Scarlet and Violet / Mega Evolution rarity system. They are the rarest category above Ultra Rare and Illustration Rare, and historically the SIR from each ME-series set has driven pre-order demand for the Booster Box format.
There is no confirmed total card count as of October 19, 2026. The numbering runs to at least 128 regular cards, with additional secret-rare cards above that ceiling.
Telling Official Products Apart
Every official Delta Reign product uses the "ME06" set code and "Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution" branding on the outer box. The set symbol appears on individual cards.
Watch for these packaging cues when buying sealed product:
- The official English product name is "Pokémon TCG Mega Evolution: Delta Reign." Listings using alternate spellings ("Delta Realm", "Mega Evo 6") are often third-party imports or misidentified products.
- The Pokémon Center ETB uses a distinct box design. Standard ETB listings showing the PC ETB artwork at standard ETB prices are usually mislabeled.
- Pre-orders with ship dates earlier than October 24 (prerelease) are not legitimate. Factory stock does not release before that date.
Delta Reign as a Q4 Gift
Delta Reign releases November 6, 2026, which places every format squarely inside the holiday shopping window. The nine-format ladder gives clear options at multiple price points.
Under $15: Sleeved Booster Pack ($7.49–$9.99) or Checklane Blister ($7.95–$8.99). The blister adds a collectible coin, making it the better value at the same price band.
Under $65: Booster Bundle (six packs plus a promo). Under $140: Elite Trainer Box with the full accessory kit. For serious collectors: Booster Box or the Pokémon Center ETB.

How many cards are in Delta Reign?

What are the best Delta Reign cards to pull?
The Mega Rayquaza ex Special Illustration Rare (SIR) is the headline chase card. The three other Build and Battle Box promos, Mega Golurk ex, Mega Malamar ex, and Mega Golisopod ex, are also among the featured Pokémon in the set.
Is there a Delta Reign Pokémon Center exclusive?

At current pre-order prices, the Booster Bundle (6 packs, $44.95–$59.95) and Booster Box (36 packs, $219.99–$255) are the most efficient on a raw per-pack basis. The ETB adds roughly $20–30 of accessories to its pack cost, which is worthwhile if you need sleeves or dice for a new deck.
