Pokémon Magic Hour Illusion! Halloween 2026: Every PC Japan Plush Ranked
By Dexhaul Team · September 25, 2026
Pokémon Center Japan named its 2026 Halloween plush line "Magic Hour Illusion!" and the casting says everything about this year's theme.
The collection brings together six characters across two size formats: full-size plush for Zoroark, Pikachu, Polteageist, and Pawmi, and smaller mascot format for Raichu and Zorua. None of these are available at US or Australian retail. Every listing you will find right now comes through an importer, which is why the same plush can cost very different amounts depending on who you buy from.
This guide covers each character, what it costs at the current floor, and which seller to avoid overpaying at.
Zoroark: Why It Leads This Collection
The name of the collection is not arbitrary. Zoroark's signature ability is Illusion, which lets it disguise itself as another Pokémon in the party. A Halloween collection built around illusions, disguises, and a "magic hour" of transformation chose Zoroark as its lead because the thematic match is exact, not decorative.
The plush is the largest in the lineup and carries the highest price to match.
Ichiba Japan has it at $57 USD. LEALEA MART comes in $2 lower at $55. Tengoku Corner lists at $76, a $19 premium over the floor with no product difference.
The floor is Ichiba or LEALEA.
Zoroark was introduced in Generation V alongside Zorua, and both appear in this collection as a pair. The Hisuian Zoroark form, introduced in Legends: Arceus, is Ghost/Normal type, which makes the Halloween framing even more fitting if you read the collection that way. The standard plush uses the original Unova Dark-type Zoroark design.
Polteageist: The Ghost-Type, and Why the Form Matters
Polteageist is the obvious Ghost-type pick for the lineup, but the specific form here is worth noting.
Polteageist exists in two forms: Antique and Phony. In the games, Antique Form Polteageist inhabit genuine antique teapots and are rare. Phony Form inhabit mass-produced teapots and are far more common.
This collection uses the Phony Form, which is the one most people picture when they think of Polteageist.
If you are building a set-complete collection across both forms, the Antique Form has no dedicated Magic Hour Illusion! plush, so this is the only version in the lineup.
Pricing sits at $36 via LEALEA MART (floor), $39 at Ichiba Japan, and $45 at Icecreamshopper. The spread is entirely importer margin. All three are the same Phony Form Polteageist from the same PC Japan production run.
Pikachu: Floor Price Is $40, Not $56
Pikachu appears in practically every PC Japan seasonal line, and Magic Hour Illusion! is no exception. This is the electric mouse in the Halloween edition costume design, full-size plush format.
The price gap here is the widest in the collection and entirely avoidable.
LEALEA MART has the Pikachu plush at $40 USD. Ichiba Japan lists at $43. Icecreamshopper at $50.
Tengoku Corner lists at $56.
That is a $16 spread for the identical product from four sellers. The $56 listing at Tengoku is not a different version or a larger size. Buy from LEALEA MART or Ichiba.
Pikachu costumes in PC Japan Halloween lines tend to sell out before other characters in the same collection, based on historical patterns from prior years. If this one is your target, the floor price does not stay available indefinitely.
Raichu and Zorua: The Mascot Format Pair
Both Raichu and Zorua appear in the smaller mascot format, priced at $24 USD each from Ichiba Japan. These are the entry-level items in the collection, roughly palm-sized rather than full display plush.
Raichu is an unusual Halloween pick. It is an Electric type, not Ghost or Dark, and has no direct thematic connection to illusions or the supernatural.
PC Japan has a history of including familiar fan favorites alongside the thematic leads to broaden the lineup's appeal. Raichu fills that role here alongside Pikachu.
Zorua at $24 is the clear buy for anyone who wants a piece of the Zoroark/Zorua "illusion pair" without the $57 spend on the full Zoroark plush. The mascot captures the character at a fraction of the cost. Tengoku Corner also lists a Zorua Plush Keychain version at $34, which is a step up from the mascot format but still below the full plush tier.
Pawmi: A Gen 9 First in a PC Japan Halloween Line
Pawmi is the most noteworthy addition from a collecting perspective.
The Paldea electric mouse introduced in Scarlet and Violet has not previously appeared in a PC Japan Halloween seasonal collection. This is the first time.
It is a full-size plush, priced between $47 and $56 depending on the seller. Ichiba Japan has it at the lower end of that range; Tengoku Corner lists it as "Pamo" (the Japanese name), which is the same product.
Icecreamshopper lists it as "Pawmi Plush" at $50.
Raichu appears as a mascot; Pawmi appears as a full plush. Both are Electric types in a lineup otherwise built around Dark and Ghost types. The combination of Zoroark, Zorua, Polteageist, Pikachu, Raichu, and Pawmi reflects the mix of thematic leads (Zoroark's illusion, Polteageist's ghost) and fan favorites in costume rather than a strict type-matching approach.
How to Buy: Seller Comparison and Timing
None of these plush are available at US, UK, or Australian retail. Every current listing is through an importer who sourced from Pokémon Center Japan. That is why the same Pikachu plush costs $40 from one seller and $56 from another.
The three sellers with the most complete Magic Hour Illusion! inventory right now are Ichiba Japan, LEALEA MART, and Tengoku Corner.
Ichiba Japan and LEALEA MART consistently hold the floor prices across most characters. Tengoku Corner carries the full lineup but at a markup over those floors.
Icecreamshopper has a partial selection at mid-range pricing.
PC Japan seasonal Halloween lines are released once and not restocked. The 2026 line shipped in September; by October, stock levels at importers typically thin out, and secondary market prices on sold-out characters rise above current importer pricing. This is the window where importer floor prices represent the lowest reliable cost for these plush.
