The Roserade price ladder in 2026 runs from $2.99 to $113.84 for the same card in two different conditions.

That spread is driven almost entirely by one factor: Cynthia. With Destined Rivals now in print and the 30th Anniversary Celebration arc bringing Sinnoh back to the top of the search charts, the collector window for Roserade is wider than it has been in years. Here is how every tier maps out.

The DP-Era Starting Point

Roserade's first dedicated Holo Rare landed in Diamond and Pearl: Secret Wonders in November 2007. The 17/132 Holo Rare is still the easiest starting anchor for any Roserade binder page.

Raw Near Mint copies from reputable sellers sit at $2.50 to $4.00. Most of the price variation is condition grading, not scarcity. Copies from the same print run can swing by a dollar or more based on centering alone.

The SWSH era added a standard Roserade card in Sword and Shield Base Set (004/202, $1.00), and Lost Origin produced the Trainer Gallery variant TG02/TG30 with above-set art. Neither of those cards has driven meaningful secondary market price movement. Demand has stayed concentrated in the DP-era holo and the Japanese trainer-art variants.

Roserade has no V, VMAX, VSTAR, or ex designation in any English SWSH or SV release. Its collector ceiling is entirely in the trainer-art tier, not the power-creep chase-card tier. That is unusual for a Gen 4 Pokémon with this level of fan visibility.

Battle Region CHR: Why the Premium Is So High

The Japanese Battle Region set (s12a, February 2022) contains the card that defines Roserade's high-end collector market right now.

The Character Rare at 068/067 pairs Roserade with Cynthia in full-art form. Cynthia's team in Diamond and Pearl includes Roserade alongside her signature Garchomp, which grounds the card's artwork in actual game lore. The CHR depicts a natural, in-game relationship, not a promotional pairing.

Raw copies sit at $2.99. PSA 10 copies run from $49.99 at the entry end to $113.84 for premium sellers. That is a raw-to-graded multiplier of roughly 38x.

Most Character Rares in the Battle Region set carry a 5x to 15x raw-to-graded premium. The Roserade 068/067 sits well above that band. The driver is not gameplay.

Roserade has no modern competitive format presence, so the premium comes entirely from Cynthia's fan following and the absence of an English equivalent. Battle Region was a Japanese-only release, making the CHR artwork import-exclusive. English collectors who want the Cynthia and Roserade pairing in a card have had one option until recently: import and grade the Japanese CHR.

The 38x multiplier is a meaningful number for grading math. A raw copy at $2.99 leaves significant upside if you submit a pristine Near Mint copy and pull a PSA 10.

Grading fees erode that margin quickly, though. Most collectors source the PSA 10 directly rather than submitting raw copies, given the turn-around time and fees at current rates.

Destined Rivals SV10: The First English Cynthia's Roserade

Destined Rivals changed the situation for English collectors.

The Destined Rivals (SV10) set introduced Cynthia's Roserade 184/182 as an Art Rare. The 184/182 numbering places it above the set's 182-card total, the standard Art Rare slot in SV-era English releases. At $20.00, it is the first English-language card to pair Cynthia specifically with Roserade in above-set artwork.

The card fills a gap that the Japanese Battle Region CHR left open for three years. Collectors who did not want to navigate Japanese import channels or grading fees now have a direct English-language path to the Cynthia and Roserade pairing. The Art Rare format carries lower collector pressure than the Japanese PSA 10, which means it is also a more liquid buy at its current price point.

Whether $20 proves to be the stable floor depends partly on how long the Sinnoh arc sustains collector attention. The 30th Anniversary Celebration set launches September 16, which keeps Sinnoh at the top of the search charts through at least mid-October. Supporting characters on Cynthia's team, including Roserade, tend to see elevated interest in those windows.

Beyond the Card Binder: Plush and Figures

The Pokémon Center Sitting Cuties Roserade (#407, shown above) is the flagship plush for non-TCG collectors. The compact seated pose is consistent across the Sitting Cuties line. At $46.84 at ToyCartUSA, it carries a reseller premium over the original Pokémon Center direct price, which is expected: the Sitting Cuties line is discontinued as of 2024, which means stock is fixed and any remaining listings are dealer-held inventory.

There is also a less widely known option for display collectors.

The Roserade Midarezaki Scented Mascot Plush is a Japanese-exclusive release with a scent built into the fabric. Scented Pokémon plush are rare in any licensed line. The design directly references Roserade's Pokédex entry, which describes it using sweet fragrances concealed in its bouquet-hands to lure and poison prey.

The scent is a lore-accurate merchandising choice, making the Midarezaki version the collector's pick for anyone who wants something more specific than the Sitting Cuties format. It lists new at $25.00 at Yeti Gaming.

The Full Price Map

Roserade's collector ladder in 2026 breaks into four clear tiers:

  • $1–4: Secret Wonders 17/132 holo raw or Battle Region CHR 068/067 raw. Both are legitimate starting points. The Secret Wonders holo is the DP-era anchor; the Battle Region CHR raw is the entry path to the graded premium tier.
  • $20: Cynthia's Roserade 184/182 from Destined Rivals. The English Art Rare, and the only way to own the Cynthia pairing without importing Japanese product.
  • $25–46: The two plush options: Midarezaki Scented Mascot at $25 and Sitting Cuties #407 at $46.84.
  • $50–113: Battle Region CHR PSA 10. The premium tier, graded, import-exclusive, and driven by Cynthia's fan base.

Roserade rewards collectors who look past the V/ex power-creep tier. Its most valuable cards exist in a different category entirely: trainer-art variants where the Pokémon's lore relationship with a specific character sets the price floor.
