Toxtricity Collector's Guide: Amped Form, Low Key Form, and Every Product Worth Knowing

Toxtricity is the only Pokémon from Generation VIII with two permanent forms that each have dedicated official plush releases.

That distinction matters for collectors. Most dual-form Pokémon lean heavily on one form in merchandise, leaving the alternate as a rare find. Toxtricity splits more evenly between Amped and Low Key across the San-ei ALL STAR COLLECTION line.

Collecting both forms is genuinely achievable, and genuinely necessary if you want complete coverage. This guide covers both forms across plush, TCG cards, and figures, with current pricing from independent merchants.

The Two Forms: What Makes Toxtricity Unusual

Toxtricity first appeared in Pokémon Sword and Shield in 2019 as a Generation VIII Electric/Poison-type from the Galar region. It evolves from Toxel at level 30. The form it takes at evolution is permanent and determined solely by the Toxel's nature at the moment of evolution.

Seventeen natures produce Amped Form. Twelve natures produce Low Key Form. Once evolved, there is no in-game mechanic to change a Toxtricity's form.

This is different from Lycanroc's forms, which are time-dependent, or Urshifu's, which are chosen via a deliberate story event. Toxtricity's form is fixed at a genetic level, set before the player ever sees it as Toxtricity.

Visually, Amped Form is the yellow-and-purple colorway with an electric guitar motif. Low Key Form is green and blue with a bass guitar aesthetic. Both are based on the same underlying design but read as distinct enough that plush releases treat them as separate entries.

In TCG art, Amped Form appears in the overwhelming majority of cards, making Low Key Form a merchandise-first collector target rather than a card-first one.

The San-ei Plush Lines

San-ei Boeki's ALL STAR COLLECTION is the primary plush line for Toxtricity. Both forms are present, catalogued as PP156 (Amped Form) and PP179 (Low Key Form).

PP156 Amped Form is the more commonly stocked variant, typically priced around $26.00 from Japanese specialty importers. PP179 Low Key Form runs slightly higher at $36.00, reflecting lower turnover.

Ichiba Japan carries both. The Low Key Form listing is harder to find on generalist marketplaces, so sourcing it directly from a Japanese import specialist is usually the more reliable path.

Bitjump Games also carries a 12" Low Key Form from the ALL STAR COLLECTION at $34.99. That is roughly the same product at a slightly different size, from a seller shipping domestically for US buyers who prefer to avoid international shipping timelines.

One note on completionists: the PP156 Amped and PP179 Low Key are separate SKUs that typically do not appear in the same listing. A single order does not get you both forms. If shelf-completeness is the goal, two separate orders from the same or different sellers are necessary.

TCG Cards: The Amped Form Dominates

Across the TCG, Toxtricity has appeared in several sets since its Sword and Shield debut. The card library skews heavily toward Amped Form.

Toxtricity ex (227/182) from Scarlet and Violet: Paradox Rift is the highest-rarity English single available from most independent sellers. The full-art Ultra Rare depicts Amped Form, as do both Double Rare copies from the same set (100/182 and a second version). TCGKing.nl lists the 227/182 at €29.99 for European buyers; North American sellers typically list it in the $3–$6 range for the Double Rare versions.

Shining Fates brought a hidden-gold V (SV112/SV122), also in Amped Form. The promo version (SV012 Black Star) shows the same design. The Shining Fates V trades at accessible prices, typically under $5.00, making it a strong entry point for newer collectors.

The Japanese Phantasmal Flames set (SV4a) introduced an Illustration Rare (103/094) that stands out for one specific reason: it depicts Toxtricity in Low Key Form. That makes it one of the very few TCG cards to show the green-and-blue colorway rather than the Amped default. For collectors focused on form-accurate coverage across their binder, the Phantasmal Flames IR is the Low Key Form card to chase.

Figures and Hard Merchandise

Beyond fabric, Toxtricity has appeared in the Battle Feature Figure line from Wicked Cool Toys. The figure captures Amped Form's pose and ships from several independent retailers around $19.99.

There is also a smaller Battle Figure format from Tomy/Jazwares that has appeared in multi-pack sets and occasionally as a standalone. The standalone sells around $9.99 at select merchants. Neither figure format currently has a Low Key Form variant, which reinforces the pattern: physical three-dimensional merchandise concentrates on Amped Form, while the plush line is the main avenue for Low Key Form representation.

Building a Complete Toxtricity Collection

A complete 2026 Toxtricity collection has four distinct pieces.

First, the Amped Form plush (PP156, San-ei ALL STAR COLLECTION). Second, the Low Key Form plush (PP179, or the 12" equivalent from Bitjump Games).

Third, at least one Amped Form TCG highlight, with the Paradox Rift ex 227/182 as the top-rarity English option. Fourth, the Phantasmal Flames Illustration Rare for Low Key Form TCG representation.

Most of those pieces run $26–$37 each, keeping the full collection well under $150 assembled. The Phantasmal Flames IR is a Japanese set card, so sourcing it means finding a seller who stocks Japanese singles, many of which appear on UCP-connected independent shop listings.

The figure adds a fifth piece and rounds out a display shelf, but is optional. No Low Key Form figure currently exists, so the form asymmetry in three-dimensional merchandise is unlikely to be closed without a new release from Wicked Cool Toys or Tomy.

One practical note: the LOW KEY Form tends to be slightly harder to find in stock at any given time, especially from US-based sellers. If you see it at a reasonable price, that is generally the time to act rather than waiting for a perceived discount window.
