Hallmark Pokémon Keepsake Ornaments (2026): Every Annual Release

Hallmark releases new Pokémon Keepsake Ornaments every year, and the 2026 lineup is one of the most varied in the series' more than two-decade run.

Three new designs hit Hallmark stores this season: a dated Captain Pikachu Keepsake at $22.99, a six-piece Poké Balls set at $42.99, and a two-piece Espeon and Umbreon set at $34.99, all observed from independent authorized Hallmark retailers in October 2026. Keepsakes and seasonal blown-glass pieces from 2022 through 2025 remain widely available alongside them, giving collectors a real window to fill in multiple years at once.

Every Hallmark Pokémon Ornament Available in 2026

Hallmark's Pokémon series spans two product tiers. Keepsake ornaments carry a release year and a dated SKU (typically starting QXI), making them part of the official numbered Keepsake collector series. Hallmark Standard pieces are seasonal designs without a year designation, usually priced lower and available across multiple seasons.

Where to Start in the Hallmark Pokémon Line

The right entry point depends on whether you want a single display piece, a themed tree section, or a gift for a specific fan.

Best 2026 single ornament: Captain Pikachu

The 2026 Captain Pikachu Keepsake at $22.99 is the clearest single-piece pick for this year's collector. It carries the QXI1106 SKU and the 2026 year designation, meaning it sits cleanly in a dated series alongside prior Pikachu Keepsakes. For fans who buy one Pokémon ornament per year, this is the 2026 choice.

Best entry-level pick: the blown-glass standards

The Hallmark Standard ornaments at $11.49 each (Arcanine, Pikachu on Poké Ball, Sprigatito) are the lowest barrier into the line. They hang on a standard hook, fit any tree size, and do not carry a year, so they are not subject to dating pressure for display. They are genuinely the same blown-glass style as older Hallmark Pokémon pieces, just without the Keepsake year designation.

One thing worth knowing: buying individual blown-glass pieces at $11.49 each is not cheaper per piece than a multi-piece set. The $14.99 Jigglypuff Blown Glass, for instance, is the same style at a single piece but priced separately. Factor that in when planning a purchase of several characters.

Best gift set for an Eeveelution fan

The 2026 Espeon and Umbreon Set of 2 at $34.99 is this season's standout collector pick. The timing is notable: the 30th Celebration Battle Decks featuring Espeon ex and Umbreon ex release on October 30, 2026, meaning a collector who plays those decks can display the matching ornament pair alongside the cards. No other Hallmark Pokémon release this year creates that pairing so directly.

Keepsake vs Hallmark Standard: What Collectors Need to Know

The distinction matters for anyone buying to collect across years.

A Keepsake carries a printed year on the box, a QXI-prefixed SKU, and is part of Hallmark's dated collector series going back decades. The Hallmark Keepsake lineup releases each July, when official pre-orders open at authorized stores.

Pieces like the 2024 Blastoise, 2025 Venusaur and 2026 Espeon and Umbreon will always be identifiable by year. That year designation is why secondary prices on earlier Keepsakes with popular characters tend to hold above original retail.

A Hallmark Standard ornament (SKUs often beginning HCM) is a seasonal piece without a year designation. Arcanine, Sprigatito and the shatterproof mini Poké Balls are Standard pieces. They can remain on shelves across multiple seasons, and their pricing stays stable rather than climbing.

For official pieces, look for the Hallmark crown logo on the hanger cap, an item number printed on the box or hanger, and The Pokémon Company copyright text on the base. Unofficial Pokémon ornaments circulate widely: the guide to spotting unofficial Pokémon products covers the checks that apply across merchandise categories.

Displaying and Storing Hallmark Pokémon Ornaments

Standard hooks work on any tree, wreath, or garland. The Mini Keepsake pieces (the 2024 Starter Trio and Mini Poké Balls) are the smallest in the lineup at under two inches, making them the right choice for smaller trees, shelf setups, or anyone who wants a lot of pieces without overwhelming a branch.

The shatterproof mini Poké Balls at $14.99 for six are worth considering for households with children or pets. They are the same six ball types as the $42.99 full-size Keepsake set, built from a shatter-resistant material rather than glass. The trade-off is that they do not carry the dated Keepsake designation.

For storage, Hallmark makes ornament storage boxes sized to fit Keepsake pieces. The painted and blown-glass Standard ornaments are fragile at the seam: store each in its own compartment, wrapped, and never stacked. Keep boxes horizontal in a dry space; temperature swings can crack the paint on older pieces.

Matching Hallmark Pokémon Ornaments to the Fan on Your List

For a younger fan or a first Pokémon gift, a single $11.49 Arcanine or Sprigatito blown-glass piece works as a stocking addition without overspending. For a display collector, the six-piece Poké Balls Keepsake fills a themed tree section in one box. For the Eeveelution fan who plays the TCG, the Espeon and Umbreon set pairs with the 30th Celebration decks releasing later this month.

FAQ

When do new Hallmark Pokémon Keepsake Ornaments come out each year?

The annual Keepsake lineup releases each July as part of Hallmark's Dream Book preview event. New pieces typically appear in authorized stores and online Hallmark retailers in July and August, though some 2026 pieces like the Poké Balls set list availability from that month. The official Hallmark Keepsake catalogue publishes the full year's lineup at launch.

What is the difference between a Keepsake ornament and a Hallmark Standard ornament?

A Keepsake is part of Hallmark's dated collectible series: it carries a printed year on the box, a QXI-prefix SKU, and was designed as a numbered series piece. A Hallmark Standard ornament (blown-glass characters, snow globes) is a seasonal product without a year designation, available across multiple seasons.

Are earlier Hallmark Pokémon Keepsakes still worth buying?

Dated Keepsakes from 2022 to 2025 remain in stock from independent authorized retailers at prices close to original retail, based on listings observed in October 2026. Popular characters like Eevee (2022) and Blastoise (2024) retain steady interest. DexHaul is an independent search tool and does not track or predict secondary market values.

How do I tell a genuine Hallmark Pokémon ornament from an unofficial one?

Official pieces carry the Hallmark crown logo on the hanger cap, a printed item number, and The Pokémon Company copyright notice on the base, usually with an item card inside the box. The official Pokémon merchandise page at pokemon.com lists licensed product categories to use as a cross-reference.

Do Hallmark Pokémon ornaments fit a standard tree?

Yes. They use standard metal hanger hooks. The Mini Keepsakes are under two inches and suit compact trees or shelves; standard Keepsakes and blown-glass pieces run two to four inches and work on any full-size tree.
