Pokémon Holiday Ornaments (2026): Every Official Set

Hallmark's 2026 Pokémon Keepsake line is the first in the series to include all six main Poké Ball types in a single set.

Three new releases lead this year: Captain Pikachu ($22.99), the Poké Ball Set of 6 ($42.99), and an Espeon and Umbreon pair ($34.99). Those sit alongside a growing catalog of prior-year ornaments still in stock, from $11.49 singles to motion-activated specialty pieces. This guide covers every officially licensed Hallmark Pokémon ornament available right now, what each release includes, and where to start if you are buying for the first time.

The 2026 Hallmark Pokémon Keepsake Line

All three 2026 releases are currently available from authorized Hallmark dealers at MSRP. Hallmark's official Pokémon Keepsake page lists the full current lineup.

Captain Pikachu ($22.99) is the signature single for the year. The ornament features Pikachu in a captain's coat and hat, rendered in polyresin, dated "2026" on the base, with a satin ribbon hanger. It is the most approachable of the three new releases and ships from the widest range of dealers.

The Poké Ball Set of 6 ($42.99) is the standout release for collectors. It includes a Poké Ball, Great Ball, Ultra Ball, Master Ball, Premier Ball, and Luxury Ball as six individual hanging ornaments in one box. No previous Hallmark Pokémon release has covered all six tiers together.

Prior ball ornaments were single items. This set closes that gap for anyone who wants the full tier on one tree.

The Espeon and Umbreon Set of 2 ($34.99) brings both Eeveelutions together as a pair. The timing is notable: Espeon ex and Umbreon ex are the deck mascots for the 30th Anniversary EN Battle Decks releasing October 30, 2026. This ornament set is the only licensed item featuring both characters together before those decks arrive.

Where to Start

Captain Pikachu is the safest single pick at $22.99. It is the widest-distributed 2026 release and ships from the most dealers at MSRP.

For someone new to Pokémon who wants a gift for a fan, the Poké Ball Set of 6 works without requiring knowledge of specific Pokémon. At $42.99 retail, the cost works out to $7.16 per ornament, which is below single-ornament pricing for most Keepsake releases. The set fills a tree section visually without needing five separate items.

The Espeon and Umbreon Set is the pick for TCG collectors. The 30th Anniversary Battle Decks arrive October 30.

This set makes a natural companion item for collectors who follow the TCG alongside décor. For broader TCG context, the 30th Celebration Battle Deck guide covers the Espeon ex and Umbreon ex cards in detail.

Motion and Sound Ornaments

Two ornaments in the current lineup go beyond static display.

The Pikachu Musical Snow Globe ($19.99) is built around an internal motion mechanism in an ornament-sized hanging format. It activates passively when hung rather than on a button press.

The Singing Jigglypuff ($27.99) uses a button on the base to trigger audio: Jigglypuff's singing from the animated series, battery operated. These sound ornaments move faster than static pieces once the holiday season peaks. Pokémon's official merchandise listing covers the broader character lineup if you are cross-shopping Jigglypuff products.

Telling Official Ornaments From Resale

Hallmark Keepsake ornaments are produced in a single annual run and not reprinted. Once production sells through, the only source for that year's ornament is the secondary market at resale prices.

Items in stock right now from authorized Hallmark dealers are at MSRP. Each ornament carries a year date on the base and ships in a gold Hallmark Keepsake box.

Listings without a box image or a visible year date on the ornament deserve closer inspection. For a broader check on any Pokémon product, DexHaul's guide to spotting fakes and unlicensed products walks through the core checks.

Buying in October gives access to the full 2026 run. Earlier years with wide original distribution (Pikachu, Eevee, the Kanto starters) can still be found at reasonable prices. Rarer releases narrow faster.

Display and Care

Hallmark Keepsake ornaments are polyresin. They handle normal household temperature variation without damage. Keep painted surfaces out of direct sunlight over long periods to prevent fading.

Most pieces hang from a standard wire loop or satin ribbon. Branch thickness matters for sets. The Poké Ball Set of 6 and the Espeon and Umbreon pair are heavier than single ornaments; they sit better on sturdier branches or a dedicated display hook than on thin wire tips.

Both sound and motion ornaments require button-cell batteries. Replace them annually when you unbox ornaments for the season, and note the battery type before gifting so the recipient has an easy replacement path.

Pokémon Ornaments as a Holiday Gift

Ornaments work well for fans who already have the cards and plush covered. They add something displayable without overlapping a TCG or figure collection.

Under $25, the Pikachu Musical Snow Globe ($19.99) and the Sprigatito or Arcanine singles ($11.49 each) are the cleanest picks. From $25 to $35, the Captain Pikachu single ($22.99) and the Singing Jigglypuff ($27.99) offer more character specificity. Above $35, the Espeon and Umbreon Set ($34.99) and the Poké Ball Set of 6 ($42.99) are the strongest value per ornament.

For a TCG-collector angle, the Mini Kanto Starters Set of 3 ($34.99, Squirtle, Charmander, and Bulbasaur) is a compact option that covers three characters in one box. It pairs naturally with any Kanto-era collection.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are Hallmark Pokémon ornaments officially licensed?

Yes. Hallmark's Pokémon Keepsake ornaments are officially licensed. Each ornament ships in a Hallmark Keepsake box carrying both Hallmark and Pokémon branding and carries a year date on the base.

What Pokémon ornaments does Hallmark make for 2026?

The three 2026 Hallmark Pokémon Keepsake releases are the Captain Pikachu Ornament ($22.99), the Poké Ball Ornaments Set of 6 ($42.99), and the Espeon and Umbreon Ornaments Set of 2 ($34.99). Prices observed from authorized dealers, October 12, 2026.

Do Hallmark Pokémon ornaments get reprinted?

No. Each Keepsake ornament is produced once for its dated year.

Once the annual production run sells through, the only source is the secondary market, typically at higher prices. Buying during October gives access to the full 2026 run at MSRP.

What is the difference between a Keepsake ornament and a mini ornament?

Full-size Keepsake ornaments are typically 2 to 4 inches and ship individually in a Keepsake-branded box. Mini ornaments are smaller and usually sold in themed sets, like the Mini Kanto Starters Set of 3 and the Mini Poké Ball Set of 6. Minis are sized for tighter branch clusters or smaller trees.

Are the sound and motion ornaments battery-operated?

Yes. The Singing Jigglypuff and the Pikachu Musical Snow Globe both require button-cell batteries. The battery type is noted in Hallmark's product description; it is worth checking before gifting so the recipient can replace them easily.
