HUMAN MADE x Pokémon (2026): Both Collections Explained
By Dexhaul Team · October 9, 2026 · 6 min read
NIGO's HUMAN MADE label has run two official Pokémon collaborations, and both are worth knowing before you spend.
Collection 1 dropped in fall 2025 under the 25AW seasonal code. Collection 2, officially titled "Pokémon Made," launched on May 23, 2026, with 15 pieces spread across tees, outerwear, and accessories. If you're looking at a listing and unsure which drop it belongs to, the product code is your fastest check: XX30 prefixes are Collection 1, XX31 are Collection 2.

What is HUMAN MADE?
HUMAN MADE is the streetwear label founded by NIGO, the Japanese designer and DJ best known for creating A Bathing Ape (BAPE) in 1993. He launched HUMAN MADE in 2010 as a deliberate counterpoint to hype culture: workwear silhouettes, vintage American references, and a consistently restrained graphic vocabulary.
Pokémon is a natural fit. NIGO grew up in Japan during the original Game Boy era, and the franchise's characters carry genuine cultural weight for his generation.
Both collections lean hard into that nostalgia without leaning into the garish licensing that marks lesser collaborations. The pieces are quiet enough to wear without explanation.
For broader context on Pokémon apparel across price tiers and brands, the clothing guide covers the full category from casual tees to licensed outerwear.
Collection 1: Fall/Winter 2025 (25AW)
The first HUMAN MADE x Pokémon drop arrived under the 25AW seasonal designation in fall 2025. Pieces included a Pikachu graphic tee (XX30TE012 in black, XX30TE014 "Poke Bal" in white), a Heavyweight Hoodie in gray (XX30CS006), and a series of store-exclusive colorways tied to the Harajuku and other brick-and-mortar HUMAN MADE locations.
These exclusives featured a "Pink Heart" Pikachu graphic in both black and white colorways, sold only at specific stores during launch events. They are not currently available through standard resellers and trade almost entirely on the secondary market.
Collection 1 items that do surface on resale typically price at a significant premium above MSRP, particularly the Harajuku-exclusives. The Heavyweight Hoodie (XX30CS006) commands the highest secondary prices of the non-exclusive pieces.
Collection 2: Pokémon Made (26SS)
Collection 2 is where the line expanded in scope and became easier to shop.
The "Pokémon Made" drop added 15 pieces across three Pokémon: Pikachu, Farfetch'd (Kamonegi), and Magikarp (Koiking). Three numbered graphic tees each dedicated to one character, in white and black colorways. Outerwear added a Denim Jacket (XX31JK005), a Padded Blouson (XX31JK006), and a Utility Jacket (XX31JK007).
The choice of Farfetch'd is the detail that rewards knowing the reference.
Farfetch'd's Japanese name, Kamonegi, is drawn from the idiom 鴨葱 (kamo negi): "a duck that comes carrying a leek," meaning a situation where everything falls conveniently into place. NIGO, whose entire aesthetic is rooted in Japanese cultural specificity, picked a character whose name carries idiomatic weight in the language he designs in.
Most buyers will see a duck with a plant. Japanese-literate buyers will see a much more deliberate choice.

Where to start
The T-Shirt #3 (Magikarp) in black is the clearest entry point. It trades at the lowest price of the three numbered tees, and the graphic is the most understated: a simple Magikarp rendering that reads as streetwear first and Pokémon second to anyone who does not immediately recognize the character.
T-Shirt #1 (Pikachu) in white is the standard reference from the line, sitting in the $115–$198 range depending on seller.
For outerwear, the Padded Blouson (Farfetch'd, olivedrab) wears more neutrally than the Denim Jacket. The Blouson's Farfetch'd motif is smaller and the military green colorway reads as outerwear first.
Authentic vs. replica: what to check
HUMAN MADE pieces carry a sewn-in label with the product code. For Collection 2, the Pikachu tee is XX31TE020, the Farfetch'd tee is XX31TE021, and the Magikarp tee is XX31TE022.
A listing that cannot show the label or gives the wrong code for the character is a red flag. The XX30 vs. XX31 split is the easiest check: no authentic Collection 2 piece starts with XX30.
The accessories are a reliable authenticity test. The Key Charm and Key Rings carry precisely engraved HUMAN MADE branding; replica versions typically show edge bleed or misaligned logos under magnification.

As a gift: what the price points unlock
The line splits cleanly into three gift tiers. At ~$44–$84, the key rings and key charm are the accessible entry: small, officially licensed, and distinctive enough that any Pokémon fan who knows the collaboration will recognize them immediately. They are also the easiest pieces to ship and wrap.
The graphic tees (~$115–$198) work for someone who wears streetwear and would appreciate the brand context. They are not the kind of Pokémon shirt that announces itself at ten meters.
For a fashion-conscious recipient who happens to love Pokémon, they fit well. Browse more gift ideas across categories in the Pokémon holiday gift guide.
The outerwear tier is for a specific buyer who already follows HUMAN MADE or is a serious Pokémon collector who treats wearables as part of the collection. At ~$756–$1,815, these are statement purchases rather than gifts.
Frequently asked questions
What Pokémon are in the HUMAN MADE collection?
Collection 2 (26SS, "Pokémon Made") features Pikachu, Farfetch'd, and Magikarp. Collection 1 (25AW) focused primarily on Pikachu and Poke Ball motifs, with the Heavyweight Hoodie carrying both Pikachu and Farfetch'd references.
How do I tell Collection 1 and Collection 2 apart?
Check the product code on the label. XX30 prefixes are Collection 1 (25AW, fall 2025); XX31 prefixes are Collection 2 (26SS, spring/summer 2026). No authentic piece crosses that boundary.
Are HUMAN MADE x Pokémon pieces still available at retail?
Collection 1 is sold through at retail and trades on the secondary market. Collection 2 is available through independent resellers at $44–$1,815 depending on the piece, as of October 2026.
Why does HUMAN MADE keep using Farfetch'd?
Farfetch'd's Japanese name, Kamonegi, is drawn from the idiom 鴨葱: "a duck bringing a leek," meaning a situation where everything falls into place conveniently. For a brand with deep roots in Japanese language and culture, the choice carries more meaning than it appears to in English.
