Pokémon Select Figures (2026): Every Series and Scale
By Dexhaul Team · October 12, 2026 · 7 min read
The Pokémon Select line is the widest range of officially licensed Pokémon action figures at retail, spanning seven distinct sub-series from a 2-inch clip figure all the way up to a 6-inch super-articulated tier with over 15 points of articulation.
Start with the 4-inch vinyl figures if you want one clean shelf piece at $10–$20. Move to the 6-inch super-articulated range if posability and display detail matter. The Evolution Multipacks are the best value entry for anyone who wants a full evolution line in one box.
One thing most listings do not spell out: the Select line is currently produced by Jazwares, not Jakks Pacific. Jakks Pacific held the Pokémon figure license from around 2006 through 2012 and made a separate range of basic PVC and articulated figures.
Select is a Jazwares product, identifiable by PKW item numbers on the box. That distinction matters when you are browsing second-hand listings alongside new stock.

Where to start: three picks by collector type
The 4-inch vinyl figures for shelf collectors
The 4-inch vinyl range is the backbone of the line. Numbered series (Series 1 through 11 and counting) each wave new characters, and the $10–$20 price point makes building a collection manageable. Eevee, Vaporeon, Umbreon, Pikachu, Chikorita, Totodile, Cyndaquil, Riolu, Fuecoco, and dozens of others are in stock from independent shops right now.
The 6-inch super-articulated figures for display and posing
The super-articulated tier is the most premium Select option. Each figure has over 15 points of articulation, meaning you can pose Mewtwo mid-Psybeam, set Cinderace in a kick stance, or angle Rayquaza into a full dive. Blastoise, Toxtricity, Zapdos, Armarouge, Gallade, Deoxys, and the full Mega Evolution sub-set are all confirmed in this range.
The Pokémon Select Collection as documented by Bulbapedia covers the broader Select range, noting that the super-articulated line began shipping to retailers from 2020 onward. Secondary-market prices on this tier vary sharply by character: Cinderace sits around $12–$34 from independent shops while Zapdos and Deoxys fetch $80–$108 due to lower print runs.
Evolution Multipacks for completionist collectors
The Evolution Multipack sub-line bundles all three stages of an evolution chain in a single box. Confirmed waves include Gastly/Haunter/Gengar, Squirtle/Wartortle/Blastoise, Bulbasaur/Ivysaur/Venusaur, Charmander through Charizard, Rowlet through Decidueye, and Pichu/Pikachu/Raichu. The Eevee multipack goes a step further: one box contains Eevee plus two Eeveelutions (Espeon and Umbreon, or Flareon/Jolteon/Vaporeon in another wave).
Telling Select generations apart (and spotting fakes)
The most important detail when shopping second-hand: Jakks Pacific figures and Jazwares Select figures are different products from different eras. Knowing which you are buying matters for both authenticity and condition expectations.
Jakks Pacific figures (2006–2012 era)
Jakks Pacific held the Pokémon figure license from approximately 2006 through 2012 and produced a separate range of 2-inch PVC figures, 4.5-inch articulated figures, and larger feature figures. These are identifiable by the "JAKKS Pacific" text stamped on the base or on the back of the packaging.
They are now vintage collectibles, often sold loose from the original box. Check the joints and paint before buying.
Jazwares Select figures (2019 to present)
Current Select figures carry PKW item numbers (for example, PKW2777 for the Charmander Evolution Multipack) on the box tab and typically say "Jazwares" or "Wicked Cool Toys" in smaller text. The PKW number is the cleanest authentication check: genuine Select figures always have one. The 6-inch super-articulated line introduced sealed accessory bags inside the box; factory-sealed packaging with the PKW number visible through the window is a reliable new-stock signal.
Bootleg flags on any Pokémon figure
No PKW number, mismatched paint colours, stiff or fused joints, and blurry printed text are all red flags. The DexHaul fake Pokémon products guide covers the full authentication checklist for figures and other merchandise.
Display and care
The 4-inch vinyl figures need about 5 cm of shelf depth and stand cleanly without a base. The 6-inch super-articulated figures need 10–12 cm of depth once posed; their wider stances and extended accessories eat more horizontal space than the standard height suggests. Plan roughly 15 cm of horizontal clearance per figure if you want arms and wings out.
Vinyl and ABS plastic do not require special care, but prolonged direct sunlight will fade paint detail on all scales. Wipe with a dry or lightly damp microfibre cloth. Avoid solvents entirely.
The 6-inch figures ship with small accessory pieces (alternate hands, effect parts) that are easy to lose. Keep them in the original accessory bag inside the box.
For display alongside TCG binders and booster boxes, see the mini figures and blind bags guide for how to mix figure scales on a shelf without one piece dominating the others.
Pokémon Select figures as holiday gifts
The Select range sits in a useful gift price bracket. The 4-inch vinyl figures at $10–$20 make strong stocking stuffers. The Evolution Multipacks at $30–$50 are complete gifts that need no follow-up purchase.
The 6-inch super-articulated figures at $20–$35 (at original retail) are the premium gift option for any collector aged 6 and up.

FAQ
Are Jakks Pacific Pokémon figures the same as Select figures?
No. Jakks Pacific made Pokémon figures under a different license from around 2006 to 2012. The Select line is a Jazwares product, released from 2019 onward under the Wicked Cool Toys and then Jazwares brand names.
What is the difference between the 4-inch vinyl and 6-inch super-articulated figures?
The 4-inch vinyl figures are solid, painted display pieces with no moving parts. The 6-inch super-articulated figures have 15 or more points of articulation, interchangeable hands, and effect accessories so you can pose them in action stances.
Which Pokémon are in the 6-inch super-articulated range?
Confirmed characters include Mewtwo, Cinderace, Rayquaza, Blastoise, Zapdos, Toxtricity, Lucario, Gallade, Armarouge, Deoxys (Normal Form), Golisopod, Mega Charizard X, and Mega Charizard Y, with new characters added each series wave.
How do I verify a Select figure is authentic?
Check for a PKW item number on the box tab. Genuine Jazwares Select figures always carry one. Mismatched paint, fused joints, and absent item numbers are signs of a counterfeit.
Can Evolution Multipack figures be bought separately?
In most cases, no: the Evolution Multipack figures are sold as a set and are not available individually at retail. However, individual stages do sometimes appear on the secondary market from opened boxes.
