LEGO Pokémon Munchlax 72150: Piece Count and MSRP (2026)
By Dexhaul Team · October 15, 2026 · 4 min read
LEGO Munchlax (set 72150) contains 757 pieces, is rated for ages 18 and up, and carries an MSRP of $69.99 USD. The set builds a poseable display figure of Munchlax, the Generation IV pre-evolution of Snorlax, as confirmed on the LEGO product page.
This is an adult collector build from the 2026 LEGO Pokémon wave. No TCG packs, no app mechanics.
What's in the box
Set 72150 is a single-subject build. Every piece goes toward constructing one Munchlax display figure on a base, designed for shelf display rather than play.
| Item | Quantity | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Munchlax buildable figure | 1 | Poseable display build with sturdy base |
| Display base | 1 | Included; holds the figure upright |
| Total pieces | 757 | Rated 18+; adult collector difficulty |
| Build theme | Pokémon display | No TCG packs, no app, no cards |
Munchlax is a Generation IV Normal-type (Pokédex #446) that evolves into Snorlax through high friendship. Its Pokédex entries describe it as eating its body weight in food each day. The set gives that characteristic roundness room to breathe: the figure is compact but solid, with the same adult-collector build quality as the rest of the 2026 wave.

How it compares to the 2026 adult LEGO Pokémon wave
The 2026 adult wave includes three single-Pokémon sets at different price tiers. Munchlax sits in the middle.
| Set | Pieces | MSRP | Cost per piece |
|---|---|---|---|
| Eevee 72151 | 587 | $59.99 | $0.102 |
| Munchlax 72150 | 757 | $69.99 | $0.092 |
| Arcanine 72160 | 1,190 | $109.99 | $0.092 |
Munchlax and Arcanine tie on pieces-per-dollar: both work out to $0.092 per piece at MSRP. Eevee costs $0.102 per piece, making it the least efficient of the three on that metric. If build time and piece count matter to you, Munchlax gives the same efficiency as Arcanine at $40 less.
That said, the sets are not interchangeable. Arcanine is a larger, more dynamic figure with articulated joints for display posing. Munchlax is a compact, chunky build. The choice comes down to which Pokémon you want on your shelf and how much display space you have. The Eevee vs Munchlax comparison goes deeper on the two sets at the lower price tier.

Who it's for, and who should skip it
Munchlax 72150 is for adult LEGO collectors who want a mid-tier Pokémon display build. At $69.99, it sits above the entry-level Eevee set and well below the $109.99 Arcanine, making it a strong Q4 gift option for an 18+ Pokémon fan who already has the smaller sets or wants a fresh character.
The Munchlax-Snorlax line has deep nostalgia across multiple generations of players. That makes this set more giftable than its price suggests.
Skip it if you want interactive play
The SMART Play sets (72155-72167) are designed for kids ages 6-10 with battle platforms, projectile elements, and app compatibility. Munchlax 72150 is a display-only build with no play mechanics.
Skip it if you want the biggest statement piece
The Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise set (72153, 6,838 pieces) and Pikachu and Poké Ball (72152) offer significantly more pieces and a larger shelf presence at higher prices. Munchlax is the mid-tier value pick, not the showstopper of the adult wave.
