Pokémon Adventures Collector's Edition (2026): All 10 Volumes
By Dexhaul Team · October 12, 2026 · 5 min read
VIZ Media's Pokémon Adventures Collector's Edition collects the original 29 English volumes into 10 larger omnibuses. Published between April 2020 and October 2021, the series is complete and all 10 volumes are currently in print at $17.99–$19.99 each (observed October 12, 2026).
Unlike many manga lines that drift in and out of stock, every Collector's Edition volume is available right now. That makes it unusually gift-friendly for a series this long.
Every volume in the Collector's Edition
Each omnibus collects three original single volumes, except Volume 10, which closes the set with the final two. Arc names below follow common reader convention, not chapter-level technical markers.
Original volumes covered are confirmed from VIZ's series listing.

Prices observed at Barnes & Noble, October 12, 2026. Volumes 7 and 10 carry a $17.99 MSRP versus $19.99 for the other eight volumes.
Volume 10's lower price reflects its two-original-volume content rather than three. Volume 7's lower price is a VIZ list price difference with no stated reason.

Where to start
Volume 1 is the standard starting point. Red is the series' first protagonist, and the Kanto arc establishes the world, the rival structure, and the Team Rocket threat that echoes through all 10 volumes.
If you only own one Collector's Edition volume, start here.
Starting at Vol. 3: the Johto shortcut
Readers primarily interested in the Gold/Silver arc can start with Volume 3. Gold and Silver are new protagonists introduced at the beginning of that arc, and the story is largely self-contained.
The Kanto arc is referenced, not required.
Starting at Vol. 5: Hoenn in
The Ruby/Sapphire arc across Volumes 5–8 is widely considered the series' strongest. It introduces Ruby and Sapphire, expands the scale dramatically, and is the section most commonly recommended to newcomers.
Volume 5 provides enough context to follow it cold. The Legends: Z-A buyers guide covers related Hoenn content if that's drawing you back to the franchise now.
Gifting the full set
For a gift purchase, Volumes 1–10 as a complete set total $197.80 at MSRP. All 10 volumes ship from the same retailers currently in stock, so coordinating a full-set order is straightforward.

Telling the Collector's Edition apart from other formats
VIZ has released Pokémon Adventures in multiple formats, and the differences matter when shopping secondhand.
Collector's Edition vs. original single volumes
The original VIZ single volumes are smaller paperbacks, typically 200–220 pages, released in the US from the early 2000s onward. The Collector's Edition omnibuses are physically larger, roughly 500–600 pages per volume, with the same story content.
The original singles currently sell at $9.99–$14.99 each from secondhand sellers. Three originals at that range cost $30–45 versus $19.99 for the equivalent Collector's Edition omnibus.
Collector's Edition vs. 2-in-1 volumes
VIZ also published 2-in-1 omnibus editions for some arcs. These are smaller format than the Collector's Edition and collect two originals per volume rather than three.
If you see a "2-in-1" label on a listing, it is not the Collector's Edition. The CE is the only format that covers all 29 originals in a uniform 10-volume series.
What the CE does not cover
The Collector's Edition ends at the Emerald arc, original Volume 29. The full Pokémon Adventures manga in Japan continued well beyond that point, covering the Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, Black/White, and later generation storylines.
VIZ publishes those arcs separately under their ongoing "Pokémon Adventures" single-volume line. The CE is a self-contained set, not an ongoing series.
Storing and displaying the Collector's Edition
Each CE volume runs roughly 500–600 pages and is a full-size graphic novel, slightly taller than a standard manga paperback. A standard bookshelf with 9-inch clearance fits the series comfortably.
Spine-out display across all 10 volumes gives a clean matched set. The spines feature consistent yellow and black design with volume numbering, so they read as a complete run when shelved together. Spine-forward stacking works for storage but the larger format makes each volume heavy enough that stacking beyond four risks warping the lower volumes over time.
For Q4 gift-giving, the CE pairs well with other Pokémon collectibles. The Pokémon figures and collectibles guide covers display-friendly options across the same franchise.
