Delta Reign PC ETB vs. Retail ETB: The $160 Premium, Explained

Pokémon TCG: Delta Reign Pokémon Center ETB With Acrylic Case (PRE-ORDER) · $274.00 USD

The Delta Reign Pokémon Center ETB lands at $160 above the retail floor.

That gap buys you three things: the PC-exclusive box art, an acrylic display case, and an exclusive alternate-art promo card that has accompanied every prior ME-series PC ETB.

Nothing about the booster packs changes. Both versions draw from the same Delta Reign set, releasing November 6, 2026. The card pool, the pack count, and the in-box accessories are identical.

The premium is cosmetic and presentational. Whether it is worth it depends entirely on what you are collecting for.

What the Pokémon Center ETB Contains

ME-series Pokémon Center ETBs follow a consistent format across ME01 through ME05: same booster pack count as the retail box, plus an exclusive PC-only alternate-art promo card not available anywhere else.

ME06 Delta Reign adds something new to that format. It is the first ME-series PC ETB to include an acrylic display case by default.

Every previous ME PC release left the case as a separate aftermarket decision. Here, the case is part of the product from the moment you order it, which changes the comparison math against the retail version in a way that ME01–ME05 never did.

The box art is also different. The PC version carries Pokémon Center branding on the exterior. Collectors who track the full run of ME-series PC ETBs as a display line need this version for completeness, regardless of any card or case consideration.

The Gemzy Split: One PC ETB, Two SKUs

Gemzy lists the Delta Reign PC ETB at two separate prices: $260 without the acrylic case, and $274 with it included.

The $14 gap between those two SKUs is the market cost of adding back what the PC listing is supposed to include by default. The $260 version is the stripped product: you pay the full PC premium, get the exclusive box art and promo card, but miss the one hardware addition that makes ME06's PC ETB structurally different from any previous ME-series PC release.

For most buyers, $274 is the right pick if the PC version is the goal. Sourcing an acrylic display case separately would cost at least $14, usually more, depending on the case format. The $260 SKU only makes sense if you specifically do not want the acrylic and are fine paying the full PC markup anyway.

The Retail ETB Floor and the Pre-Order Window

The retail Delta Reign ETB opens at $99.95 across current pre-order listings, with a high end around $149.99 before any bundled accessories change the calculation. That spread represents a normal pre-order range for an ME-series ETB at this stage in the pre-release window.

The retail version has no acrylic case and no PC-exclusive promo card. For players who want pack access, or collectors focused purely on card content at the lowest cost, the retail floor is the correct starting point. The booster content is identical to the PC ETB, and the $99.95 pricing reflects that.

The floor is not guaranteed to hold through to launch. ME-series releases have consistently seen pre-order prices drift upward in the six to eight weeks before their release dates as allocations fill and seller inventory tightens. The $99.95 window is available now.

Sealed Case Math

A sealed case of retail Delta Reign ETBs currently lists at $1,089.95.

At approximately ten units per case, that works out to roughly $109 per ETB at today's case price, compared to the $99.95 per-unit floor. The sealed case carries a 9% markup over the cheapest individual listing before the product has even shipped.

Sealed-case pricing on ME-series ETBs has historically tracked, then widened past, the per-unit secondary market price as the release date approaches. That reflects demand from box-break operators and set-completion buyers who need full case lots rather than individual units.

Which Version to Buy

If your goal is card access at the lowest cost, buy the retail ETB at the $99.95 floor now.

If your goal is display and you want the complete PC product as officially configured, buy the Gemzy $274 SKU with the acrylic case included. The $14 increment between the two Gemzy PC ETB options is the cheapest available path to the case, and skipping it means purchasing the stripped version of the one product in the ME series that made the case a default inclusion.

The $260 "without acrylic" PC ETB is the weakest position. It charges the full PC-channel premium while delivering the stripped product.

The only scenario where $260 makes sense is if you already own an acrylic display solution from a prior ME-series purchase. Otherwise, $274 is the cleaner buy and $99.95 is the right answer for card value.
