Meowscarada in 2026: TCG Cards, Plush, and Every Collector Entry Point

Meowscarada went from launch-day chase card to one of the most versatile Paldea starters to collect, with in-stock products ranging from a $0.99 common to a $240 sealed premium box.

The Grass/Dark Paldea starter, introduced in Scarlet and Violet, reached its collector peak with the Paldean Fates SIR (Special Illustration Rare) at 256/091. That card is now the ceiling, and the floor is a standard SV01 double rare at under a dollar. This guide maps every tier between them.

The entry level: singles under $10

The cheapest way into the Meowscarada collection is the SV02 Paldea Evolved double rare holo (015/193) at $0.99 raw. It is mechanically identical to the SV01 card but draws less secondary-market demand because SV02 had wider distribution.

The SV01 Scarlet and Violet base set holographic card (015/198) runs $5.99 raw, and the SVP 033 promo full-art holo sits at $3.99. The promo matters to completionists: SVP 033 was bundled in the Starter Set ex and is not pullable from any booster pack. It has a distinct full-art illustration from both the SV01 and Paldea Evolved versions, making it a third distinct art tier at the lowest price of the three.

For TCG players, the SV02 $0.99 raw is the correct starting point. For art collectors, the SVP 033 promo at $3.99 gets you a product-exclusive design.

Sealed products: Starter Set ex and Deluxe Battle Deck

The Starter Set ex at $29.99 includes a 60-card deck built around Meowscarada ex, the SVP 033 promo, and two additional booster packs. It was designed as an entry point for new players, but it doubles as a sealed collectible with the promo card inside.

The Deluxe Battle Deck at CA$34.99 is the upgraded version: a 60-card competitive-ready deck, a coin, damage counters, and a card list. It was released alongside the Quaquaval ex Deluxe Battle Deck, making Meowscarada and Quaquaval the first Paldea starters to receive a dedicated Deluxe format. This matters for the collection because the Deluxe Battle Deck includes a unique holofoil version of Meowscarada ex that differs from the standard set print.

Neither deck is a substitute for booster packs if you want SIR pulls. They serve a different purpose: guaranteed Meowscarada ex ownership without pack risk.

The Paldea Partners Tin: the promo path

$51.00 USD

The Paldea Partners Tin at $51 is the most cost-efficient promo path. It contains four booster packs plus a foil Meowscarada ex promo card in its own display window. The promo art is a fourth distinct illustration, separate from SV01, the SVP 033, and the Starter Set ex versions.

That four-promo-art count is unusual for a single Pokémon across one SV generation. Most Paldea starters received two or three distinct art variants in their first two years. Meowscarada reached four because of the Starter Set ex, the Paldea Partners Tin, the Deluxe Battle Deck, and the Paldean Fates SIR, all issuing different art at different price points.

For anyone building a Meowscarada art collection, the Partners Tin promo is required. It is not available in any standard booster.

The plush lineup: All Star Collection vs Pokemon Center Japan

Two licensed plush lines cover Meowscarada: the All Star Collection 12-inch at $49.99 from US resellers, and the Pokemon Center Japan All Star "S" size at $36.80 via import resellers like VeryGoods.JP.

The difference is size and source. The 12-inch All Star Collection plush targets the US collector market directly. The Pokemon Center Japan S-size uses the same Sanei All Star line but is smaller (roughly 6 inches in the seated pose) and carries the Pokemon Center Japan label, which matters for completionists who track where a plush was originally sold.

Both are official, licensed, and feature Meowscarada's characteristic masquerade-cape silhouette. The 12-inch is the better display piece. The Japan S-size is the harder-to-source and the one that signals to other collectors that you went the import route.

The premium tier: Paldean Fates SIR and Premium Collection

$240.00 USD

The Paldean Fates Premium Collection at $240 is the ceiling for sealed Meowscarada product in standard secondary market listings. It centers on the Paldean Fates SIR (256/091), the above-set-limit shiny illustration rare that carries Meowscarada ex in a full-art shiny treatment. The 256/091 numbering follows the same above-limit convention that defines Special Illustration Rares across the SV era.

The raw Paldean Fates Meowscarada ex SIR trades at $37.98 on the secondary market. The Premium Collection at $240 is not buying you the card at a discount: it is buying you the sealed-product experience and the five additional Paldean Fates booster packs that come inside. For raw-card buyers, the $37.98 single is the direct path.

For sealed collectors, the Premium Collection is the flagship Meowscarada sealed product. No other Meowscarada box commands a comparable price.

Graded copies: where the PSA 10 market sits

2023 Pokemon SV1a JP Meowscarada ex PSA 10 · $85.00 USD

The Japanese SV1a Triplet Beat Meowscarada ex PSA 10 runs $85. That is the SAR (Special Art Rare) version from the Japanese equivalent of the Scarlet and Violet base expansion, and it carries a different full-art illustration than any of the English cards.

The Paldean Fates SIR PSA 10 (the English shiny version) reaches $150. Both grades represent clear value above raw: the $85 PSA 10 is roughly 14x the SV01 $5.99 raw, and the $150 Paldean Fates PSA 10 is 4x the $37.98 raw SIR.

Neither grade approaches the Charizard-class premiums seen on the most storied Paldea starters. Meowscarada's graded market is practical: collectors who grade do it because they want a preserved copy of a specific art, not because they are speculating on large multipliers. That makes the PSA 10 market predictable and relatively stable for this character.

Which entry point fits your collection

Under $10: SVP 033 promo at $3.99 gets you the product-exclusive full-art design at the lowest possible price.

Under $55: The Paldea Partners Tin at $51 bundles the fourth distinct Meowscarada ex promo art with four booster packs, the best per-dollar conversion in the sealed range.

Plush only: The 12-inch All Star Collection at $49.99 is the flagship US piece. The Japan S-size at $36.80 via import is the more specialized find.

Premium sealed: The Paldean Fates Premium Collection at $240 is the ceiling and the only product built around the Paldean Fates SIR art.

Graded: The Japanese SV1a PSA 10 at $85 is the graded entry point with a distinct art not available in any English set.
