Noibat and Noivern Collector's Guide 2026: Four TCG Eras, the Fit Plush, and the $75 Chase Card

Noivern has one of the steeper price gradients in any Generation VI collector line.

A Journey Together Holo Rare lists at $0.18. The Alternate Full Art from Evolving Skies approaches $265 in PSA 10. That range spans four distinct TCG eras, three card mechanic formats, and a handful of merchandise items that are worth knowing before you start buying.

DexHaul is an independent Pokémon search engine; every price below comes from live merchant listings across independent shops.

The Sound Wave Duo: Origins and Why Collectors Notice Noivern

Noibat (#714) and Noivern (#715) are Dragon/Flying types introduced in Pokémon X and Y in 2013. Both are classified as the Sound Wave Pokémon in the Pokédex. Noibat evolves into Noivern at level 48.

Neither is in the evergreen recognition tier of Charizard or Eevee. What they have is a surprisingly complete TCG run: GX in 2017, V with two alternate arts in 2021, ex appearances across three SV sets starting in 2024, and a Holo Rare in Journey Together in 2025. Continuous representation across that many mechanic generations is not common for a mid-tier Kalos Pokémon.

The result is a line with genuine depth across budget levels, which is exactly what makes it interesting to collect.

The GX Era: Burning Shadows and the Hidden Fates Wildcard

Noivern GX 99/147 from Burning Shadows (2017) is the starting point for the GX chapter. It is a Holo GX Rare currently listing at $1.64–$2.99 raw, making it an affordable set filler rather than anything collectible on its own terms.

The Hidden Fates Shiny Vault entry is a different card entirely. Hidden Fates (2019) was a premium release containing 94 Shiny Vault cards, each showing a Pokémon in its alternate shiny coloring.

Noivern GX SV78/94 trades the standard deep purple body for bright teal and green. The color inversion is one of the sharper-looking in the Shiny Vault lineup.

Current listings run CA$28.50 raw. That is roughly 12–15 times the base GX card, and the premium has held because the Shiny Vault print run was relatively small and collector demand for alt-color variants has not faded.

Evolving Skies: The V Line and the Alternate Full Art Gap

Evolving Skies (2021) is Sword and Shield's Dragon-focus set and the most collectible chapter of the Noivern line.

The set gave Noivern three cards. Noivern V 117/203 is the Ultra Rare, currently at $4–$6 raw. Noivern V Full Art 195/203 shows Noivern silhouetted in flight and trades at a nearly identical $5.30–$8.

The Alternate Full Art at 196/203 is what collectors actually chase. It uses a landscape composition with Noivern soaring across a storm-lit canyon, a fundamentally different style from the standard Full Art.

Raw copies list at $74.54. PSA 10 examples have reached $264.10, a grading multiplier of roughly 3.5x.

That ratio is noticeably higher than the average SWSH Alternate Full Art, which typically settles in the 2–2.5x range. The likely explanation: the card's large foil field is sensitive to handling marks, so gem-mint copies are less common and command a disproportionate premium when they do surface.

The Scarlet and Violet Era: Noivern ex Across Three Sets

Noivern returned as a Double Rare Holo ex in Paldean Fates (069/091), currently at $0.99 raw. A Noivern ex from Prismatic Evolutions is also in the market at £1.75.

The most recent English-language Noivern card is 128/159 in Journey Together (2025), a Holo Rare available at $0.18. It is the floor of the entire collection and the practical entry point for anyone building a set-complete Journey Together binder.

The Japanese Battle Partners set includes Noivern 081/100. For collectors following the Japanese release schedule, Battle Partners cards reach the English market typically 3–6 months after the JP release, so pricing on that card will shift once English versions arrive.

Sealed Products: The V Battle Deck

The Noivern V Battle Deck is the only dedicated sealed product in the English line. At CA$13.95, it is a ready-to-play 60-card deck built around Noivern V and supporting cards from the Sword and Shield era.

For collectors who want packaging rather than raw singles, it is the natural sealed entry point for the character. The deck does not include the Alternate Full Art, but it does provide a tangible Noivern V in a sealed context without the singles market price.

Merchandise: Fit Plush, MonColle Figure, and the Seasonal Noibat Keychain

Three distinct merchandise categories exist for this line, each at a different price and availability tier.

The Pokémon Fit Noivern

The Pokémon Fit series is produced in Japan and follows a proportional-to-Pokédex-size format. Noivern's Fit plush captures the large wing span and ear membrane detail of the design reasonably well for its size. Importer listings currently place it at $22.00 USD.

MonColle MS-43 Figure

Takara Tomy's Monster Collection (MonColle) line includes a Noivern at MS-43. At $9.43, it is a compact articulated figure in Noivern's standard purple coloring and fits alongside other MonColle figures at the same scale. For collectors building a Kalos figure shelf, it is the most affordable Noivern item in any physical format.

The Noibat Halloween Chateau Keychain

Pokémon Center Japan releases a Halloween Chateau seasonal lineup each year. The series features a rotating cast of Pokémon in themed accessories, and Noibat has appeared as a plush keychain at $45.00 on the secondary market.

Unlike the Fit plush and the MonColle, the Halloween Chateau products are not restocked. Secondary prices reflect the discontinuation premium typical of limited seasonal Pokémon Center Japan items.

Where to Start Based on Budget

Under $5: Noivern 128/159 Journey Together ($0.18) for the entry point, Noibat 068/091 Paldean Fates ($0.25), and Noivern ex 069/091 Paldean Fates ($0.99) together cover two eras for under $1.50 combined.

$5–$30: Noivern V Full Art 195/203 ($5.30–$8) and the Shiny Vault GX SV78/94 (CA$28.50) represent the mid tier. The Shiny Vault card is the stronger display piece in this bracket.

$30–$80: The Noivern V Alternate Full Art 196/203 at $74.54 raw is the obvious target. It is the defining card of the line.

Above $80: PSA 10 copies of the AFA are the only graded item currently listed, at $264.10. The grading gap is unusually wide for a SWSH-era card, which either represents real scarcity of gem-mint copies or a seller premium that the market has not yet corrected.
