Klefki does not attract much collector attention. That may change on October 16.

Klefki is a Steel/Fairy Pokémon introduced in X and Y in 2013, Pokédex number 707, native to the Kalos region. It appears inside the boutiques and storerooms of Lumiose City in those games, drawn to the keys and keychains that accumulate in commercial buildings. Lumiose City is the entirety of the Legends: Z-A setting, the mainline Nintendo Switch title releasing October 16, 2026.

Most Kalos Pokémon are spread across Routes and Victory Road. Klefki's in-game presence is specifically urban, and specifically Lumiose. The connection between this Pokémon and the city that Z-A will place at the center of its story is as direct as it gets for any Kalos character.

The Pokémon Fit Plush

The Pokémon Center Fit line (Sitting Cuties outside Japan) produces a small fabric plush for every numbered Pokémon in the Pokédex. The Klefki Fit plush is approximately 8 cm and features the key ring cluster design that defines the character's silhouette.

The Fit plush is a Pokémon Center Japan exclusive product. It reaches international buyers through import shops, which adds a markup over the base price.

Ichiba Japan lists it at $18.00 USD. Collector Store LLC carries the same item at $24.99.

The $7 gap between those two listings is pure import margin on the same product. Both ships from independent sellers importing from Japan. If the $18 option ships to your region, that is the better price by a simple comparison.

The Klefki Fit plush is the most accessible collector entry for this Pokémon. No larger Pokémon Center Japan plush for Klefki exists in the current catalogue, making the Fit size the primary physical collectible in stock.

The TCG Timeline: XY Era to Present

Klefki has appeared in the English Pokémon TCG across the XY, Sun and Moon, Sword and Shield, and Scarlet and Violet eras. It has never received a V, VMAX, VSTAR, or ex designation in English. The entire TCG arc is at Common, Uncommon, and Rare tiers, with the Paldean Fates Shiny Rare as the highest-rarity English card currently available.

The oldest in-stock Klefki card in the DexHaul catalogue is the XY Furious Fists printing from 2014. Card 73/111 from that set is an Uncommon non-holo, and Face to Face Games lists it at CA$0.49. For collectors building a complete Klefki binder page, the Furious Fists card is the cheapest entry into the earliest English print run.

The Roaring Skies card (48/108) from 2015 is the next significant XY-era entry. Nexus TCG lists it at $2.00 USD. Roaring Skies is a set collectors associate with Mega Rayquaza and the Dragon-type content that drove the set's secondary market; Klefki's Rare slot in that set is minor context, but it distinguishes the card slightly from the more common XY packs in collector discussions of the era.

Through the Sun and Moon and Sword and Shield eras, Klefki continued receiving Rare and Uncommon prints without ever crossing into the high-rarity special-art tier. The Scarlet and Violet base set added a Rare Holo (096/198). None of these prints command more than a few dollars raw, which is consistent with the character's status as a popular Kalos novelty without the competitive TCG profile that would push prices higher.

Paldean Fates: The Current Premium Card

Paldean Fates (January 2024) is the primary source for the highest-rarity English Klefki card currently available: 159/091, a Shiny Rare with the gold-bordered presentation the set uses for all its Shiny variants.

According to the Serebii Klefki entry, Shiny Klefki has a silver-grey key ring rather than the standard gold, with a noticeably cooler color palette overall. The Paldean Fates card uses that shiny coloring, which distinguishes it visually from all other Klefki prints in the set run.

$5.00 CAD

Raw copies of 159/091 sit between $4 and $5 across multiple sellers. That is the entry price for the highest-rarity Klefki card in English. For collectors who work through the Paldean Fates Shiny Rare set systematically, Klefki 159/091 is one of the more accessible entries in a set that spans $2 Shiny Commons to $150-plus Shiny Rare PSA 10 premiums.

There is no Klefki ex, V, or special illustration rare in any English set. The ceiling for Klefki TCG collecting is the Shiny Rare tier, which makes Paldean Fates the definitive modern card for this character.

The Graded Ceiling: PAF PSA 10 at $155

Rizo Sports lists a PSA 10 example of Klefki 159/091 at $155.00 USD.

That is approximately 30 times the raw price. The typical raw-to-PSA-10 premium for Paldean Fates Shiny Rares ranges from 5 to 15 times for most non-starter Kalos characters in the set. A 30x multiple at this price point reflects either constrained PSA 10 supply at the listing level or individual seller pricing.

For context, the Bulbapedia entry on Klefki (accessible in browser) notes its Steel/Fairy dual typing, which provides the most immunities of any type combination in Generation VI: immunity to Poison, Dragon, and Normal/Fighting via the typing overlap. Competitive utility has historically influenced how far grading premiums stretch for a character. Klefki was a fringe competitive presence in VGC formats that used Steel/Fairy utility.

The graded PSA 10 is the top of what this character's TCG arc offers. Below it, every other price point is accessible: $4 for a raw Shiny Rare, $2 for the Roaring Skies Rare, under $1 for the Furious Fists debut era print. The spread from the cheapest card to the ceiling here is wider than almost any non-starter Kalos Pokémon in the current catalogue.

Which Tier to Buy

The answer depends on what you are building toward.

Plush first: the Fit plush at $18 from Ichiba Japan is the display entry, and it is the only Klefki plush format in stock. If you collect by physical display rather than TCG binder, the plush is where the character is represented most distinctively.

Binder completion: the Furious Fists Uncommon at CA$0.49 and the Roaring Skies Rare at $2 cover the XY era. The Paldean Fates Shiny Rare at $4 to $5 covers the current era. That is under $10 to represent three print runs, which is a low barrier for a complete Klefki binder spanning twelve years of TCG history.

Premium: the PSA 10 Paldean Fates Shiny Rare at $155 is the only graded option in current stock. Given that Klefki has no ex or special art card to compete with at this tier, the Shiny Rare grade IS the premium ceiling. Whether the 30x raw premium is worth it depends on how you price graded Kalos novelty characters as a category.

The Legends: Z-A launch window on October 16 is the strongest near-term demand signal for any Lumiose City Pokémon. Klefki's lore places it inside the city that game will make central.
