Furfrou Collector's Guide 2026: Ten Trim Forms, Two Plush Tiers, and the Lumiose City Window

Furfrou is the only Pokémon in the franchise with an official plush for every single one of its ten forms, all available to buy right now.

That is the core of this guide. If you want to collect Furfrou completely, you can do it today. The Pokémon Fit line covers Natural Form and every trim style.

The TCG arc is modest, with a low entry price and no premium ceiling. And Pokémon Legends: Z-A, set entirely in Lumiose City and launching October 16, 2026, makes this the most direct Kalos connection in the October collector window.

Here is how the collection breaks down.

The Ten-Form System

Furfrou (#676) is a Normal-type Pokémon introduced in Generation 6, based on a French poodle. It was designed specifically around Lumiose City, the Paris-inspired hub of Kalos. In Pokémon X and Y, Lumiose City featured a Pokémon Trimmer NPC at the Friseur Furfrou salon, which exists in the game for one reason: to give Furfrou its haircuts.

The trim system gives Furfrou ten distinct appearances. Natural Form is the default woolly white poodle.

The nine trim styles are: Heart, Star, Diamond, Debutante, Matron, Dandy, La Reine, Kabuki, and Pharaoh. Each changes the shape of Furfrou's mane and coat, with the cultural-themed forms (La Reine, Kabuki, Pharaoh) making the most visually striking statements.

One important mechanic: trim forms are not permanent across games. Transferring Furfrou to Pokémon HOME or to a different game resets the appearance to Natural Form.

The trims are purely a cosmetic service tied to each game's trimmer NPC. This means the only way to own every form simultaneously is through merchandise.

The Pokémon Fit Collection: One Plush Per Form

The Pokémon Fit line is where Furfrou's collecting story actually lives. Each trim form has its own distinct plush, manufactured in Japan and sold as a Pokémon Center Japan exclusive. The standard Pokémon Fit format is a compact sitting-pose design, approximately 5 inches tall, with embroidered details and the character's characteristic styled fur represented in fabric form.

Currently in stock across importers: Natural Form, Heart Trim, Diamond Trim, Star Trim, La Reine Trim, Kabuki Trim, Pharaoh Trim, and Dandy Trim. That is eight of ten forms available from a single search. The Heart Trim's rounded mane shape and the Pharaoh Trim's banded silhouette are the most immediately distinct from the Natural Form at a glance.

No other Pokémon has this breadth of form coverage in the Pokémon Fit line. Vivillon comes close with all 18 wing patterns represented, but those are 18 separate Pokémon forms across one product type.

Furfrou's trim forms are transformations of one character, all sharing the same body shape and design language, with only the mane styling changing between them. Collecting the full set is a coherent goal, not a sprawling multi-year project.

Two Sellers, One Price Gap

The same Pokémon Fit plush is available at two distinct price points depending on the seller: $17.34 per form at Ichiba Japan, and $24.99 per form at Collector Store LLC. Both are the identical Pokémon Center Japan product. The $7.65 gap is pure import-margin differential.

If you are buying a single form, Ichiba Japan is the straightforward choice on price. If you are buying several forms in one order, compare shipping totals before committing. Collector Store LLC carries a broader range of trim styles in a single catalog, which may consolidate shipping costs across a larger set purchase.

Collector Store LLC has Pharaoh Trim, La Reine Trim, Kabuki Trim, Dandy Trim, Heart Trim, Diamond Trim, and Natural Form all in active listings. Ichiba Japan carries Natural Form, Heart Trim, Diamond Trim, Star Trim, La Reine Trim, and Kabuki Trim. Between the two sellers, the full in-stock range covers eight of ten forms at last check.

La Reine and the Lumiose Connection

La Reine is the most directly French-themed trim in the set. "La Reine" translates to "the Queen" in French, and the trim gives Furfrou an elaborate court-style mane silhouette. It is the most explicitly tied to Lumiose City's Paris-inspired identity, making it the collector's statement piece within the trim range.

Lumiose City is the full setting of Pokémon Legends: Z-A, which launches October 16, 2026. The game revisits the XY region for the first time as a mainline release, with Lumiose City rebuilt around AZ's vision of a city integrated with nature.

Furfrou is native to Lumiose in X/Y; the Friseur Furfrou salon sits inside the city. That lore connection to the exact Z-A setting makes October the most meaningful window for Furfrou merchandise since the character's 2013 debut.

The Sitting Cuties Tier

Above the Pokémon Fit line sits the Pokémon Center Sitting Cuties format. The Furfrou Natural Form Sitting Cuties plush at $52.49 from ToyCartUSA is a larger 6.5-inch format with a different sitting pose and more fabric detail compared to the compact Fit plush. It is only available in Natural Form from current in-stock listings, not in any of the trim styles.

The two plush formats serve different collecting purposes. Pokémon Fit is the form-completionist format: compact, consistent across all ten trims, and available at $17–25 per form. Sitting Cuties is the display piece: larger, more detailed, and priced as a premium collectible for Natural Form specifically.

Most collectors building the trim-form set will anchor on Pokémon Fit. The Sitting Cuties becomes relevant only if you want a larger Natural Form representation alongside the trim-form set, or as the display centerpiece for a Furfrou shelf.

The TCG Arc

Furfrou's TCG story is straightforward and budget-accessible. It has no V, VMAX, VSTAR, GX, or ex card in any English set. The character has appeared as a common or uncommon in a handful of sets since its XY-era debut, with no premium ceiling to speak of.

The highest-value single in the current catalogue is the Kalos Starter Set 33/39 at $3.25, from Hobby Expert. The Kalos Starter Set was a Japanese-market starter kit for the XY era, distributed as a packaged product rather than through booster packs. That distribution route gives the KSS card mild collector significance as a format-exclusive print, even though the card itself carries no competitive history.

The current SV-era print is Furfrou 088/131 from Prismatic Evolutions. The reverse holo version ("Poké Ball" foil treatment) is listed at $5.24 from Total Cards, making it the most valuable English Furfrou card in active in-stock listings. It is an accessible floor, not a premium tier.

Furfrou's TCG arc works best as a completionist add-on to the plush set, not as a standalone collecting focus. Every English set print from Flashfire through Prismatic Evolutions is under $6, and the full arc can be assembled for under $15 across multiple sellers.

Where to Start

For a collector coming in fresh, the entry point depends on the goal.

If you want the form-completionist experience: start with the two or three trim forms you find most visually compelling, at $17.34 each from Ichiba Japan. La Reine and Pharaoh Trim are the strongest statement pieces.

Natural Form is the logical anchor. Build from there across however many forms make sense for your shelf and budget.

If you want the full plush set: both Ichiba Japan and Collector Store LLC together cover eight of ten forms. Set a search alert for Debutante and Matron Trim if you need all ten.

If you want the TCG arc alongside the plush: the Kalos Starter Set 33/39 at $3.25 and the Prismatic Evolutions reverse holo at $5.24 are the two singles worth adding. The rest of the arc fills in under $1 per card from multiple sellers.

Furfrou arrives at October 2026 in better shape than almost any Kalos character: a complete form-by-form plush line, a modest accessible TCG arc, and a direct in-lore connection to the biggest Pokémon release of the month. That is a well-positioned collecting window.
