Gogoat and Skiddo Collector's Guide 2026: The Lumiose City Ride Pokémon Before Legends Z-A
By Dexhaul Team · October 1, 2026
Gogoat ran a taxi service through Lumiose City in Pokémon X and Y, making it the only Pokémon to serve a named transport function in a 3D mainline Pokémon game.
That history is directly relevant right now.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A releases October 16, 2026, and its entire story takes place within Lumiose City. The game is set in an era when the city is being redesigned, and the focus on Lumiose's streets and districts puts every Pokémon tied to that location back in the spotlight.
Gogoat and Skiddo are among the most city-specific Kalos Pokémon in the Pokédex.
This guide covers every current product tier for both Pokémon: plush, TCG, and accessories.
The Lumiose City Connection
According to the Serebii Pokédex entry for Gogoat, it is the Mount Pokémon: large enough for a human rider, historically used by travelers to climb steep mountain terrain in Kalos. In Pokémon X and Y (2013), Gogoat operated a taxi service at six stops across Lumiose City, letting players travel between its central avenues without navigating on foot. Players could also ride Skiddo in the grounds near Camphrier Town.
These were the first instances of a Pokémon performing a named transportation role in a 3D overworld in a mainline game, predating the Ride Pager system introduced in Sun and Moon (2016). That context makes both Pokémon a natural fit for Legends: Z-A's Lumiose setting.
Skiddo is the pre-evolution, introduced alongside Gogoat in Generation 6. As confirmed on the official Pokémon Pokédex, Skiddo evolves into Gogoat at Level 32. Both are pure Grass types and both are native to Kalos.
Neither has appeared as a rideable Pokémon in any mainline game since X and Y, which makes their association with Lumiose City a specific and memorable piece of that generation's design.
Pokémon Fit Plush: Both Stages Covered
The Pokémon Fit series is a Pokémon Center Japan plush line working through the National Pokédex in order. Each plush is a compact, bean-bag-filled figure in a characteristic pose, and the line is one of the most complete official plush series ever produced for the franchise.
Most evolutionary lines at this depth of the Pokédex receive only one Fit entry, typically for the final form. Both Gogoat and Skiddo have individual Fit plush. That is uncommon for a non-starter, non-legendary pair.
The Gogoat Fit runs $24.51 at Japan Figure Store. The Skiddo Fit runs $24.99 at Collector Store. Both are currently in stock.
At this price tier, the Fit plush is the lowest-cost official Pokémon Center entry point for either character. For collectors building a Kalos set ahead of October 16, starting with one or both Fits locks in the line before demand picks up.
TCG Coverage: The XY Era Ceiling
Neither Gogoat nor Skiddo has a GX, V, VMAX, VSTAR, or ex card in English as of October 2026. The English TCG ceiling for Gogoat is the XY16 Black Star Promo.
XY16 is a Black Star event promo holographic card distributed during the XY era. It is the only holographic Gogoat card distributed in English, and at $4.99 for NM copies, it represents both the TCG entry point and the current ceiling for English-language Gogoat cards.
Skiddo received a holo treatment in XY BREAKthrough (set XY8, card 16/162), which is unusual. Holo rare slots in a base set almost always go to final-form Pokémon, not pre-evolutions.
Skiddo outranked Gogoat in rarity within that specific release: Gogoat does not have a holo in BREAKthrough, but its pre-evolution does.
With no V or ex card on the horizon, the XY16 promo is a complete TCG collection for Gogoat in one $5 purchase.
Sitting Cuties: Premium Plush for Both Stages
Sitting Cuties is the Pokémon Center Japan premium plush tier: a consistent seated pose at roughly 5 to 6 inches, with quality construction and detail above the Fit line.
The Skiddo Sitting Cuties is 5.25 inches, at $45.49. The Gogoat Sitting Cuties is 5.75 inches, at $51.14. Both are sold through ToyCartUSA.
Having both stages covered across both the Fit and Sitting Cuties lines gives Gogoat and Skiddo one of the deeper official plush ladders among non-starter Kalos Pokémon. Most lines at this depth of the Pokédex have at most one tier covered for the final form only.
Metal Charm: Both Stages on One Piece
For a lower-cost official collectible, the National Pokédex Metal Charm Keychain covers Skiddo (#672) and Gogoat (#673) together on a single product.
Skiddo, Gogoat - National Pokédex Metal Charm Keychain #672, #673
$6.00 at Ichiba Japan
Metal charms are a Pokémon Center Japan product format: die-cut metal with colored enamel, sized for keychains or flat display. This pair keychain is one of the few single items that represents the full evolutionary line at once, and at $6.00 it is the most affordable official item for either Pokémon currently available.
Where to Start
The full price range for Gogoat and Skiddo collectibles runs from $4.99 (the XY16 promo card) to $51.14 (the Gogoat Sitting Cuties plush). Every tier currently has stock.
For a compact starter set: the metal charm ($6) covers both Pokémon, and the Gogoat Fit ($24.51) adds a plush at the entry tier. Together that's under $35 for representation across two product types before the October 16 release.
For the full plush ladder: both Fits and both Sitting Cuties together come to roughly $145, covering both stages at both tiers. No other Kalos non-starter line in the Pokémon Fit and Sitting Cuties catalogues has this much depth outside the starters and a handful of fan favorites.
