Pokémon Scale World Figures: Every Region's Entry Point, From $11 to $137
By Dexhaul Team · September 9, 2026
Bandai's Scale World line models every main-series Pokémon region at 1/20 of their official Pokédex heights, from a $11 Kanto starter 3-pack to a $137 legendary figure pre-order.
Most Pokémon figure lines set their own scale. Scale World is different: every figure is explicitly 1/20 of the Pokémon's real Pokédex height, so figures from different regions sit in correct proportion to each other on a shelf.
A Bulbasaur stands shorter than a Charizard because, in the Pokédex, it actually is shorter. That design logic is the whole point of the line.
Here is how to read the catalogue by budget tier, which regions give you the most for the least, and which Sinnoh legendaries have pre-orders live right now.
What 1/20 Scale Means in Practice
Charizard is listed at 1.7m tall in the Pokédex. At 1/20 scale, the figure stands approximately 8.5cm, which is around 3.3 inches. That is why the Charizard Scale World single feels like a serious display piece rather than a small figurine.
The size difference becomes dramatic with legendaries. Dialga stands 5.4m tall in the Pokédex, which means a 1/20 figure sits at roughly 27cm, around the height of a large desktop display piece. The upcoming JumpIchiban Sinnoh pre-orders reflect that scale in both size and price.
This is also why Kanto starters (smaller Pokémon) are physically compact figures, while the Mega Gyarados from the Kalos region set towers over everything nearby on the shelf.
The Entry Tier: Regional Mini-Figure Sets ($11–$14.95)
The cheapest way into Scale World is a regional assortment set. Simplytoyz carries the Hoenn Region at $12.95, the Johto Region Series 1 at $14.95, and the Paldea Region Series 2 at $14.95. These sets give you a selection of figures from that region's roster.
The Kanto Starters 3-pack (Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Charmander together) sits at $11 from Ichiba Japan and is a named character set, not a random pull. It is the lowest price point for a specific named assortment in the entire line.
If you want to test Scale World before committing to a single figure at $40+, start here. The Hoenn set at $12.95 is the cheapest single purchase in the line right now.
Kanto Singles: Why the Starters Cost More Than You Expect
The fully evolved Kanto starters are the most expensive individual named figures in the line: Charizard at $40, Blastoise at $44, Venusaur at $57. Compare that to the Johto and Hoenn regional sets at $12–15 and the gap looks steep.
This is the inverse of how vintage TCG pricing works. In TCG, older cards command premiums because they are rarer. In Scale World, older Kanto figures are expensive because the original capsule runs have been absorbed by the secondary market and the most popular Pokémon in those runs (Charizard, specifically) trade above their original retail equivalent.
The Kanto premium runs deep. A Professor Oak, Charizard, Blastoise, and Venusaur complete set is listed at $198 from Cool Dragon Hobby.
A Kanto Region 3 complete 11-figure set sits at $108. If you want Kanto as a display collection, those bundle prices are cheaper per figure than buying singles individually.
Kalos and the Mega Forms
Scale World is one of the few Pokémon figure lines to include Mega Evolution forms.
The Kalos region set features Mega Charizard X alongside Professor Sycamore at $71, and a separate Mega Gyarados figure at $87. No other mass-market Pokémon figure line regularly produces Mega Evolution versions. For collectors focused on the Mega Evolution TCG era, these figures are the only proportionally-scaled display option that exists.
The Kalos Region set at $60 from GinzaTCG includes a grouping of Kalos Pokémon, separate from the Mega singles.
Paldea: The Eevee Evolutions Set
The standout Paldea release is the Eevee Evolutions Set at $59 from Ichiba Japan.
This is the only Scale World release to group multiple Eeveelutions together in a single named set. At 1/20 scale, the figures sit in correct proportion to each other, which makes it a clean display grouping without needing to source individual figures separately.
The Paldea Vol. 02 mini-figure assortment at $14.95 is still available from Simplytoyz if the full Eevee set is out of budget. It includes Paldea-region characters without committing to the $59 Eevee grouping.
Hisui: A Complete Region, Available Now
The Hisui Region Set at $41 is the most recent complete regional grouping currently in stock. Hisui is the ancient version of the Sinnoh region from Pokémon Legends: Arceus (2022), and its Scale World figures include Hisuian regional variants alongside Arceus itself.
Separate Hisui figures are available: Volo and Hisuian Arcanine at $68, and a Figurine Arceus at $72 from Jap'On Demande. The $41 set is the better starting point if you want the region as a display grouping.
Sinnoh: Two Legendary Pre-Orders Live Now
Two Sinnoh legendary figure pre-orders are open at JumpIchiban, both at $137.
Dialga pre-orders ship October 2026. Palkia ships November 2026. The Sinnoh Region 3 Complete Set is also pre-ordering for October at $69 from the same seller, which covers a wider character grouping at a lower per-figure price than the two legendaries alone.
Dialga is 5.4m tall in the Pokédex. At 1/20, that puts the figure at roughly 27cm, making it a substantial display centrepiece. The $137 price reflects both that physical size and the import premium on Japanese-market releases.
These are the first Sinnoh legendary Scale World figures to appear in the secondary market in this wave. If you collected the Sinnoh Region 11 Figure Set (the wider assortment at $34 from Japan Figure Store), the Dialga and Palkia singles are the natural next additions to that shelf.
How to Decide Where to Start
The simplest framework: start with the region that means the most to you.
If that is Kanto, the $11 starter 3-pack (Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Charmander) is the correct first purchase. Add the Charizard single ($40) if Charizard is on your list; otherwise skip the expensive singles until you know the display format works for your shelf.
If you want the most figure for the least spend, Hoenn at $12.95 is the cheapest entry in the line right now. Johto Series 1 at $14.95 and Paldea Series 2 at $14.95 are close alternatives.
Pre-orders are worth flagging separately. The Sinnoh Dialga and Palkia figures at $137 each are specific named releases, not regional assortment sets. Those are purchases you make because you want those specific legendaries, not to sample the line.
