Pokémon Scale World Johto: Raikou, Entei, and Suicune Three-Figure Set Price Guide
By Dexhaul Team · October 3, 2026
The Johto Legendary Beasts are having a collector moment, and the window is open right now.
Raikou (#243), Entei (#244), and Suicune (#245) are all confirmed ex★ Pokémon in ME07 Aura Seeker, the next Mega Evolution TCG set scheduled for a Japanese release on November 27, 2026. That set is the immediate driver.
But the figures market does not wait for TCG launch weeks. The Bandai Scale World Johto three-figure set is in stock across multiple independent shops today, and its price spread runs from $142.90 to $290.37 for the same core product. Knowing where the floor is matters.
This guide covers every tier, from entry-level display figures to the Scale World premium set to GK resin at the top end, and explains exactly what drives the price gap within the Scale World tier itself.
What the Bandai Scale World Line Is
Scale World is Bandai's 1/20-scale collector figure series for Pokémon. The name describes the design principle: all figures in the line are built to the same 1/20 scale, which means the proportions hold if you mix figures across Pokémon.
A trainer figure stands roughly 9cm tall; the legendary beasts, significantly larger animals, tower over them proportionally. This is the detail that distinguishes Scale World from most PVC figure lines, which scale each Pokémon to a similar height regardless of how large the creature is in the games.
The Johto set was originally a candy toy release from Bandai in Japan, sold in small boxes that included a piece of gum. Most listings in the import and secondary market sell the figures without the gum component, which is what "w/o gum" means in the listing titles. The figures themselves are the same product either way.
The set covers all three Johto Legendary Beasts: Raikou, the Electric-type with the distinctive purple mane and lightning bolt tail; Entei, the Fire-type volcano beast; and Suicune, the Water-type with its flowing crystal mane. All three were introduced in Pokémon Gold and Silver (2000) and have been cornerstones of Johto collector interest ever since.
The Scale World Price Spread: Same Product, Two-Times the Gap
The current floor for the Bandai Scale World Johto set is $142.90, listed by ToyCraze. The ceiling, from Mochi Ribbon Japan, is $290.37. That is a $147 gap on the same Bandai product with the same three figures.
The difference is entirely importer margin and market. ToyCraze lists as a North American reseller clearing inventory; Mochi Ribbon is a specialist Japan importer with a premium on curation and sourcing. Neither is selling a fake or a different version: both are the original Bandai set.
The practical implication is straightforward. If the $142.90 listing is in stock when you are ready to buy, it is the correct choice. If it sells out, Shandorashop at $189 and Cool Dragon Hobby at $224 are the logical next steps, in that order.
Do not wait on the $290 listing if you want the set. The premium tier exists because some buyers either miss the floor or prioritize the source guarantee of a dedicated Japan importer. Neither is wrong, but the figures are identical.
Entry-Tier Figures: $19 to $58
Below the Scale World tier, there is a wide range of non-Scale World figures for all three Legendary Beasts. These are independently sculpted PVC pieces from various producers, sold at much lower prices and with correspondingly different detail levels.
DK Cards sells a "Legendary Dogs Ultimate Display" figure at $29.95, a display-quality piece using the classic "legendary dogs" naming that predates the official "beasts" terminology. Pkm.store offers detailed individual figures at around €19.99 and a trio set at €59.99.
Nakamaland has a 14cm trio at $58. These are solid display options if you want a shelf presence at low cost, but they are not the Bandai Scale World product.
The naming distinction matters for secondary market searches. These Pokémon are officially "Legendary Beasts" in English as of the Generation V naming conventions, but older community and product naming often calls them "Legendary Dogs" or "Three Sacred Beasts." All three terms return valid results.
The GK Resin Tier: $364 and Up
At the top end of the market, 666 Studio produces high-detail resin garage kit statues of the three Legendary Beasts together. Navy Toys lists the set at $364 for the standard version and $538 for the deluxe configuration. These are commission-quality pieces aimed at serious collectors who want centerpiece-level display items, not everyday shelf figures.
The GK tier is a different buying context entirely. Buyers at this level are typically comparing against other artist-produced Pokémon statues, not against Scale World. Mention it here for completeness: if your budget is above $300 and you want the three beasts, the 666 Studio resin is the natural choice over paying $290 for the Bandai set.
Why These Three Pokémon Right Now
The ME07 Aura Seeker TCG set has all three Johto Legendary Beasts as confirmed ex★ Pokémon. The ex★ designation sits above the SIR tier in the Mega Evolution rarity structure, meaning Suicune, Entei, and Raikou are each getting a card that ranks among the highest-rarity prints in the ME series to date. Japanese release is November 27, 2026.
TCG announcement windows consistently create interest in the physical collector formats for the same characters. The Suicune entry on Serebii notes its role as the "Water-type" of the legendary trio and its key appearance in Pokémon Crystal, which remains the game most associated with Suicune collectors.
Suicune is the only one of the three with a meaningful plush tier: the Pokémon Fit plush is available from multiple Japan importers at $13–$24, and the Sitting Cuties version runs around $46. Entei and Raikou have far less plush coverage, making the Scale World figure set the primary physical collector format for the trio as a group.
This is the collector asymmetry worth noting: if you want all three in physical form on a shelf together, the Scale World set is the only consistent option. Plush collectors aiming for completeness on the Johto Legendary Beasts will find Suicune easy to source and the other two significantly harder.
The Floor Summary
At $142.90 from ToyCraze, the Bandai Scale World Johto set is the most accessible entry point for the premium figure tier. Shandorashop at $189 is the correct backup if the floor clears. Cool Dragon Hobby at $224 is the third option.
Anything above $250 is paying for Japan-sourcing premium or import guarantee, not a different product.
The entry-tier non-Scale World figures ($19–$58) work for budget display but are a different product category. The GK resin tier ($364+) is for collectors who want a centerpiece-level statue.
