Released September 13, 2024 as SV07 in the Scarlet & Violet series, Stellar Crown introduced the Stellar Tera Type: a new Energy typing that targets every type for weakness simultaneously. It is the only Tera Type that works universally, and it belongs exclusively to Terapagos, the set's cover legendary. Every sealed format in this set is shaped by two things: Terapagos ex as the marquee pull, and the ACE SPEC guarantee that comes with every booster box.

What Makes Stellar Crown Different From Other SV Sets
ACE SPEC cards were a mechanic from the Black & White generation, originally designed to limit per-deck copies of the most powerful Item and Supporter cards. Stellar Crown revived them. Each 36-pack booster box ships with exactly one guaranteed ACE SPEC card inside, confirmed by The Pokémon Company's product documentation and Serebii's Stellar Crown set listing.
That guarantee matters because earlier SV sets offered no such floor. A Temporal Forces booster box could theoretically yield nothing above common rarity. Stellar Crown boxes cannot. One ACE SPEC per box sets a meaningful baseline regardless of which sealed listing you purchase.

The ACE SPEC guarantee is box-level, not pack-level. You will not find one in a bundle or a single blister. It arrives sealed inside the booster box, packaged separately from the standard packs. Beyond that guarantee, a 36-pack box gives you enough pulls to realistically chase Terapagos ex in multiple rarities and to collect the full Cinderace ex and Hydrapple ex print runs.
The Half Booster Box (18 packs) from sellers like S4T.store arrives at around $404. At that price point versus a full box, the per-pack math does not work in your favor. Its primary use case is a committed partial pull without the full box commitment, not a cost-saving option.
Elite Trainer Box: Standard vs. Pokémon Center Exclusive
The standard Stellar Crown ETB includes 9 booster packs, 65 sleeves in the Terapagos ex artwork, a coin, and dice. It is the most widely stocked format and the easiest to find from multiple sellers. Current listings sit around $298 from sellers like Gameology.
The Pokémon Center Exclusive ETB is a different product entirely, and its pricing relationship to the standard ETB is counterintuitive.
The PC exclusive ships with 11 booster packs instead of 9, plus exclusive Terapagos artwork on its sleeves that does not appear in any other product. At around $192 from sellers like Rookielegends, it undercuts the standard ETB by over $100 while including more packs. That pricing gap is not a market error. The PC exclusive circulated through a specific retail channel at launch, limiting its availability, and secondary market prices now reflect that reality.
Buy the standard ETB if you want broad seller availability and the standard Terapagos sleeve design. Buy the PC exclusive if exclusive sleeve artwork and extra packs matter more to you than convenience.
Lower-Commitment Formats: Bundle and Sleeved Packs
The Booster Bundle is the most practical entry point below the ETB.
At $78 from Trading Card Market, the Booster Bundle delivers a genuine sample of the set without an ETB-level commitment. Six packs give you a realistic shot at Cinderace ex or Hydrapple ex while keeping the spend manageable. No ACE SPEC guarantee applies at this tier, but the per-pack cost is reasonable for casual pulls or a Stellar Crown gift.
Individual sleeved booster packs are available from $10 to $46 depending on source. The wide spread reflects currency differences and individual seller positioning, not meaningful product variation. All are standard 10-card Stellar Crown booster packs.
The Chase Cards: Terapagos ex SIR and What Else to Know

Build and Battle Kit: The Casual Entry Point
The Build and Battle Kit ships with 4 booster packs plus a prebuilt deck for casual play. At $51 from Hobbiesville, it is not a strong value format for collectors chasing pulls. It suits a newer player learning the game using Stellar Crown cards, or an existing player who wants a low-stakes intro to the set's mechanics without committing to a larger sealed product.
No ACE SPEC guarantee at this tier. The prebuilt deck uses a fixed card pool designed for learning, not competitive play.
Is Stellar Crown Still Worth Buying in 2026?
Stellar Crown released in September 2024. Nearly two years later, pricing has stabilized from its launch-window peak without collapsing, which typically signals real collector demand rather than speculative hype.
Two factors sustain that demand. First, Terapagos and the Stellar Tera Type have not appeared as prominently in any subsequent English set, keeping the set's key artwork relatively distinct. Second, the ACE SPEC cards from SV07 remain Standard-legal, which means players still want them. A set with active player demand does not behave like one in pure collector-only territory.
For sealed collectors, the Pokémon Center Exclusive ETB is the most interesting long-term format. Exclusive sleeve artwork, two extra packs versus the standard ETB, and a product that did not circulate through every retail channel at launch. For players, the booster box is the most direct path to the ACE SPEC cards and the competitive ex cards you want from one sealed product.
