Pokémon TCG Worlds 2026: Every Reveal and What Collectors Should Do Next

Three separate announcements came out of Pokémon Worlds 2026, and only one of them requires action before the end of this month.

The closing ceremony on August 31 at Chase Center in San Francisco introduced two distinct things: a concrete upcoming Japanese set called Aura Seeker and a separately teased series branding known as ex★. Neither product is available for confirmed pre-order in English right now.

Earlier that same week, PokeGuardian had separately confirmed a Mega Greninja ex League Battle Deck with no release date attached.

Three announcements. Three different timelines. Treating them as equally urgent is the most common mistake collectors are making right now, and this guide sorts them out.

Aura Seeker and ex★ Are Not the Same Thing

The most common confusion from the Worlds reveal is treating Aura Seeker and ex★ as a single announcement. They are not.

Aura Seeker carries the M7 designation, making it the seventh Mega Evolution set. According to Bill's Archive's Aura Seeker set guide, the Japanese print run contains 78 cards with a confirmed release date of November 27, 2026.

Rarity tiers include C, U, R, RR, AR, SR, SAR, and UR. It is a real set with a real date.

As reported in Nintendo Insider's coverage of the ex★ teaser, the series branding appeared alongside Aura Seeker during the closing ceremony video. ex★ is not a set with a card list and release date. It is a long-running series designation, similar to how the Mega Evolution block as a whole is a named era rather than a single product.

What products fall under ex★, and when they release, remains entirely unconfirmed.

No English release date has been announced for Aura Seeker. That sentence deserves to stand alone. Pre-order prices appearing on third-party listings before an English announcement reflect speculation, not a confirmed window.

Mega Lucario Z ex: The Set Mascot and Its Mechanics

Aura Seeker's headline card is Mega Lucario Z ex, a Metal-type Stage 1 with 330 HP.

That HP total is the highest ever printed on a Stage 1 in the Mega Evolution standard format. Two mechanics define the card.

The Aura Seeker Ability lets Mega Lucario Z ex search your deck for any Supporter once per turn while it is Active. The Dancing Fist attack costs two Metal Energy and deals 120 base damage, plus 120 more against any Pokémon ex, reaching 240 against the current ex-heavy field.

Z Mega Evolution is a new mechanic introduced with this set, mechanically distinct from the standard Mega Evolution ex cards already in format. The Pokémon Company's Worlds presentation included a note that all cards shown are under development and subject to change before print.

Mega Lucario Z ex is also the first Z Mega Evolution card revealed in the TCG. Whether Z Mega Evolution appears in sets beyond Aura Seeker has not been confirmed.

MA Rares: The New Rarity Tier That Connects Worlds to In-Stock Products

Aura Seeker introduces MA Rares, short for Mega Attack Rares.

This rarity tier sits above standard rares in the confirmed pull structure and below Special Art Rares. Four MA Rare cards were revealed at Worlds: Mega Darkrai ex, Mega Greninja ex, Mega Rayquaza ex, and Mega Zygarde ex.

Every one of those four Pokémon already headlines an in-stock product available right now. Mega Darkrai ex is one of the three promos anchoring the Mega Forces Tins, which launched August 28. Mega Greninja ex has a dedicated standalone Premium Collection from multiple independent sellers.

Mega Rayquaza ex is the centerpiece of Delta Reign ME06, the next English release confirmed for November 6, 2026. Mega Zygarde ex does not currently headline a standalone collection, though singles from earlier sets are in the market.

The four Pokémon chosen for the first MA Rare reveal are also the four most commercially active Mega Evolution Pokémon in the current product lineup. That alignment is not coincidental: The Pokémon Company tends to use Worlds reveals to prime the collector market for what is already available.

For collectors specifically interested in MA Rares as an Aura Seeker pull target: mechanically, what MA Rare means in terms of foiling or art treatment has not been revealed. The rarity placement suggests a likely high-demand pull tier in box openings. Pre-ordering Aura Seeker before an English announcement exists is still premature.

The Mega Greninja ex League Battle Deck: A Separate Announcement With No Timeline

The Mega Greninja ex League Battle Deck arrived as pre-Worlds news.

PokeGuardian reported the announcement in late August 2026. No release date, retail price, or decklist has followed.

What the announcement confirmed is that Mega Greninja ex will eventually get a full 60-card competitive deck. When that happens is unresolved.

League Battle Decks in the Mega Evolution era have typically released within a few months of a major set. Given Mega Greninja ex's confirmed MA Rare status in Aura Seeker, the most logical release window for the League Battle Deck is alongside or shortly after the English localization of M7. That puts the realistic window in 2027.

Collectors who want Mega Greninja ex products today have a clear path: the Premium Collection ships now from multiple UCP sellers and includes a Mega Greninja ex promo card alongside booster packs from earlier Mega Evolution sets.

What Collectors Should Actually Do Before October

Sort the three announcements by action timeline.

Aura Seeker and ex★ are a 2027 problem for English-market collectors. Japan's November 27 date is confirmed; English remains unannounced. Watch the official Pokémon news feed for an English date, but do not act on third-party pre-order listings before that confirmation arrives.

The Mega Greninja ex League Battle Deck is an indefinite hold. No date means no action. The signal to watch for is a PokeGuardian or official Pokémon TCG site confirmation of a release window.

The in-stock Mega Evolution catalog is where attention should be right now. Both the Mega Lucario ex Figure Collection at $106 and the Mega Greninja ex Premium Collection at $51 are live in UCP across independent sellers. These are the two products that carry the two highest-profile Worlds 2026 Pokémon: Mega Lucario Z ex's namesake line and Mega Greninja ex's starring MA Rare slot in Aura Seeker.

One timing consideration that Worlds coverage tends to overshadow: the 30th Anniversary Celebration set launches globally on September 16. That is fifteen days from today.

It is the most immediate buying decision in the Pokémon TCG calendar right now, ahead of any Aura Seeker consideration. Pre-orders across multiple product types are live.

The approach that makes sense for most collectors: act on the 30th Celebration pre-order window and the in-stock Mega Evolution products over the next two weeks. Track the Aura Seeker English announcement when it comes, likely late 2026 or early 2027.

Watch for the League Battle Deck date separately. The Worlds reveals are real and significant. They are just not urgent in the same way the September 16 launch is.
