Umbreon Plush and Merch Guide (2026)
By Dexhaul Team · October 12, 2026 · 6 min read
Umbreon has three product tiers worth knowing about right now.
The Pokémon fit plush is the accessible entry point, the Sanei All Star Collection 9-inch is the display pick, and the MEGA 30th CELEBRATION Premium Deck Set covers the sealed TCG angle ahead of the English launch. On the card side, the SWSH-era Black Star Promo is the cheapest Umbreon single in circulation; the Prismatic Evolutions Special Illustration Rare sits at the opposite end of the market.
Umbreon is a Dark-type Pokémon from the Johto region, first introduced in Generation II. It evolves from Eevee with high friendship during the night. Its distinctive black body and yellow ring markings have made it one of the most consistently popular Eeveelutions for plush and art.

Plush
Two distinct plush lines cover most Umbreon fans. The first is the Pokémon fit line, which Pokémon Center Japan calls "Pokémon fit" while North American listings use "Sitting Cuties." They are the same plush series, same construction, same price tier, just different regional names. Do not let inconsistent labelling make you pay twice thinking they are two different products.
The second tier is the Sanei All Star Collection PP122 Umbreon Plush, 9 inches at $29.99. Sanei carries a Pokémon license for Japan, and the All Star Collection line offers a slightly larger, pose-held plush that photographs well on a shelf. If you already own the fit-size and want a larger companion, this is the clearest step up.
If sleeping-pose plush appeal to you, the broader Suyasuya and Kuttari lines include Umbreon in their rosters. See the Pokémon Kuttari Plush Guide for size breakdowns and the sleeping-Umbreon variants available right now.
Trading cards
Three Umbreon singles define the current market.
The entry point is the SWSH129 Black Star Promo, a standalone holo printed during the Sword and Shield era.
The mid-tier is the Umbreon VMAX from Evolving Skies (SWSH7, August 27, 2021). Card number 095/203 is the standard Ultra Rare VMAX, observed at around CAD $41.
Do not confuse it with 215/203, the Secret Rare Full Art from the same set. That card trades for several hundred dollars more. The number printed in the lower right of the card is the only reliable way to distinguish them.
At the premium end sits the Umbreon ex 161/131 from Prismatic Evolutions (SV8a, January 17, 2025). It is a Special Illustration Rare, meaning it carries two gold stars at the bottom right.
The observed price of around $1,390 reflects the ongoing demand for Prismatic Evolutions SIRs. It is not a buy for everyone. It anchors the high end of the Umbreon card tier for completionist collectors.
The 30th Celebration deck
Umbreon pairs with Espeon in the MEGA 30th CELEBRATION Premium Deck Set, a Japanese import available now at around $158. The set ships both Eeveelution decks together and includes the Umbreon ex card from the 30th Celebration lineup. For more on the full scope of that anniversary release, see the 30th Celebration Battle Deck guide.
The English version, the 30th Celebration Battle Deck, is a separate product scheduled for October 30, 2026, at a US MSRP of $19.99 per deck. It will be sold as individual Espeon ex and Umbreon ex decks rather than a combined set.
Buyers who want both Eeveelutions in one box and are comfortable with the Japanese cards can act now at the import price. The Pitch Black Elite Trainer Box, which features Umbreon ex as its signature card, is covered in the Pitch Black ETB guide.
Figures
The Funko Pop! Pokémon: Umbreon is the widest-distribution figure option, observed at $14.99 to $18 depending on the seller.
It pairs naturally with the Vaporeon, Flareon and Jolteon Funko Pops for a shelf row of Eeveelutions. For higher-end figures, the Kotobukiya and S.H.Figuarts lines cover the broader Pokémon catalogue but do not currently include Umbreon-specific releases.
Umbreon as a gift idea
For Q4 gifting, the Pokémon fit plush at $19 sits below most gift-box minimums while still feeling substantial. It works for ages 8 and up, ships compactly, and appeals to both fans of the games and TCG collectors. Pair it with the SWSH129 Promo for a plush-plus-card bundle that covers two product types without exceeding a $45 budget.
The 9-inch Sanei plush ($29.99) covers the mid-tier gift slot. For TCG-focused gifts, the 30th Celebration Battle Deck (EN, October 30, $19.99) will be the natural single-product gift for anyone who plays the game, given that it functions as a ready-to-play 60-card deck. Frequently asked questions
What is the cheapest Umbreon card right now?

Is the Umbreon VMAX 095/203 the same as 215/203?
No. Both are from Evolving Skies (SWSH7, August 2021), but 095/203 is the Ultra Rare VMAX and 215/203 is the Secret Rare Full Art.
The Full Art trades significantly higher. Check the number in the lower right of the card to confirm which you have.
