Champion's Path Marnie Premium Collection (2020): Contents and MSRP
By Dexhaul Team · October 15, 2026 · 6 min read
The Champion's Path Marnie Premium Collection launched on October 23, 2020 and packed more than a typical Premium Collection: two etched foil V promos, two enamel pins, a full-art Marnie playmat, and eight Champion's Path booster packs. The original MSRP was $39.99 USD, as listed on the official Pokémon product gallery.
It is officially titled the "Champion's Path Premium Collection" featuring Marnie. That is a different product from the Marnie Premium Tournament Collection, which contains tournament-ready theme decks. If you are looking for sealed booster packs and collector extras, this is the one.

What's Inside the Marnie Premium Collection
Every sealed copy contains the same six items, confirmed on the official Pokémon product gallery.
| Item | Quantity | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Grimmsnarl V etched foil promo | 1 | Full-art holographic promo card exclusive to this collection |
| Morpeko V etched foil promo | 1 | Full-art holographic promo card exclusive to this collection |
| Enamel pin | 2 | One Grimmsnarl, one Morpeko |
| Full-art Marnie playmat | 1 | Neoprene, features the Champion's Path Marnie full art |
| Champion's Path booster packs | 8 | SWSH35; 10 cards per pack |
The dual-promo setup makes it one of the more generous Champion's Path products. Standard Pin Collections come with a single V promo and one pin. This collection doubled both.
The playmat became a collector item in its own right. You will find it resold separately in the secondary market, which tells you something about how much it is valued independently of the packs.
MSRP and Price Per Pack
At $39.99 MSRP for eight packs, the price per pack worked out to roughly $5.00 at launch. The standard Champion's Path booster pack had a $4.99 MSRP, so the extra dollar per pack covered the two promos, pins, and playmat.
| Metric | Value | Source / Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Original MSRP | $39.99 USD | Pokémon official product gallery, October 2020 |
| Price per pack at MSRP | ~$5.00 | 8 packs included |
| Observed secondary market price | $75–$341+ USD | Range observed October 15, 2026, from independent shops |
| Observed price per pack, secondary | $9.38–$42.63+ | Based on 8 packs; market pricing only |
Champion's Path has 73 main-set cards and no retail booster box, so singles supply is tighter than for larger Sword and Shield sets. That scarcity is why sealed product commands a premium years after launch.

How It Compares to Other Champion's Path Products
The Marnie card in Champion's Path is the Supporter Trainer Marnie at 56/73, a Holo Rare. It is available as a single from multiple sellers. The two V promos in this collection are separate exclusive cards not found in the main set.
| Product | Packs | Promos | MSRP at launch | DexHaul page |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Marnie Premium Collection (this) | 8 | 2 V etched foils, 2 pins, playmat | $39.99 | You are here |
| Champion's Path ETB | 10 | 65 sleeves, dice, markers | $39.99 | ETB contents guide |
| Champion's Path Pin Collections (Gym) | 3 | 1 V promo, 1 pin | $9.99 |
The ETB has two more packs plus sleeves and dice, which matters for players. The Premium Collection wins on collector value: the playmat and double promo are unique to this box.

Who It's For, and Who Should Skip It
This collection is best for Marnie fans, Sword and Shield completionists, and anyone who wants both the Grimmsnarl and Morpeko V promos in one purchase. The playmat is the strongest individual component: the Marnie full-art design is widely considered one of the best playmat arts from the Sword and Shield era.
Opening for value is harder to justify at current prices. Champion's Path has 73 main-set cards with strong chase cards, but the cost per pack at today's listings is well above the original $4.99 face value.
Skip it if you only want the Marnie Supporter card (56/73). That card is available for under $3 as a single from multiple sellers and is not in this collection at all.
The promos in this box are the two V cards. If you want the Supporter Marnie for play or completion, buy it individually.
You may also want to check our guide to spotting fake Pokémon products before buying sealed product from any secondary seller, since Champion's Path sealed items command high prices and attract counterfeits.
A Gift-Season Pick for Sword and Shield Collectors
If you are buying for a Sword and Shield collector this Q4, the Marnie Premium Collection is a strong display piece. The box, the playmat, and the two V promos together make a complete package that stands on its own without being opened. Sealed Sword and Shield premium products are harder to find than newer Scarlet and Violet releases, so availability is worth acting on.

Frequently Asked Questions

The collection includes a Grimmsnarl V etched foil promo, a Morpeko V etched foil promo, and eight Champion's Path booster packs. The Marnie Supporter card (56/73 Holo Rare) is in the main Champion's Path set and may appear in the booster packs, but it is not a guaranteed promo component of this box.
Is the Champion's Path Marnie Premium Collection the same as the Marnie Premium Tournament Collection?
No. The Marnie Premium Collection is a sealed booster product with two V promos, pins, a playmat, and eight packs. The Marnie Premium Tournament Collection is a separate product containing tournament-ready theme decks.
They were released independently and have different MSRP and contents entirely.
What is the MSRP of the Champion's Path Marnie Premium Collection?

How many packs are in the Champion's Path Marnie Premium Collection?
Eight Champion's Path (SWSH35) booster packs, each containing 10 cards. That is two more packs than most standard Champion's Path Pin Collections, and two fewer than the Champion's Path Elite Trainer Box.
