Combined Powers Premium Collection (2024): Contents and MSRP
By Dexhaul Team · October 12, 2026 · 5 min read
Three legendary Johto ex cards in one box, and only one box.
The Combined Powers Premium Collection contains three etched foil promo cards featuring Lugia ex, Ho-Oh ex, and Suicune ex, plus a foil Mr. Mime, three foil Pokémon Tool cards, one oversize Lugia ex card, and 11 Pokémon TCG booster packs. It released February 23, 2024.
The promo ex cards carry promotional stamp numbers distinct from their booster pack counterparts, making them separate collectibles. If you want the Johto legendary trio as etched foil promos, this is the only product that bundles all three. For a full breakdown of how this compares to other premium options, see our guide to Pokémon UPCs vs SPCs and Premium Collections.
What's inside the Combined Powers Premium Collection
| Item | Quantity | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Lugia ex foil promo card | 1 | Etched foil; promotional stamp; distinct card number from booster pulls |
| Ho-Oh ex foil promo card | 1 | Etched foil; promotional stamp; distinct card number from booster pulls |
| Suicune ex foil promo card | 1 | Etched foil; promotional stamp; distinct card number from booster pulls |
| Mr. Mime foil promo card | 1 | Foil; promotional stamp |
| Pokémon Tool foil promo cards | 3 | Foil; promotional stamp |
| Oversize Lugia ex card | 1 | Jumbo format; display piece |
| Pokémon TCG booster packs | 11 | Mix of current Scarlet & Violet era sets at time of release |
The oversize Lugia ex is a notable inclusion. Jumbo cards became rare in the Scarlet & Violet era compared to the Sword & Shield years, when nearly every Premium Collection shipped one. Getting one here is a genuine extra for display collectors.
Lugia and Ho-Oh are the Tower Duo from the Generation 2 Johto region. Suicune is one of the three legendary beasts alongside Entei and Raikou.
Together these three appear on some of the most recognisable Gold and Silver packaging art. None of them share an evolutionary line, which is exactly why seeing all three as promos in a single product is unusual.

MSRP and current prices
TPCi did not publish a standalone MSRP for this collection on its press page. Independent retailers at launch priced it within the standard Premium Collection range. As of October 2026, observed prices at independent shops run from $76.99 to $130.00 USD.
| Price point | What you get per dollar |
|---|---|
| Under $90 USD (observed Oct 2026) | Competitive entry: pack value plus the three ex promos |
| $90–$120 USD (observed Oct 2026) | Mid-market; typical for sealed premium product secondary pricing |
| Over $120 USD (observed Oct 2026) | Higher than average; check multiple shops before buying |
The 11 booster packs are the bulk of the dollar value here. At around $5 per pack equivalent, that puts the pack content alone at roughly $55. The three etched foil ex promos and the oversize card sit on top of that.
Anyone who specifically wants Lugia ex, Ho-Oh ex, or Suicune ex in promo form will find it difficult to source these separately. They were distributed through this product only.
How it compares to nearby products
The Combined Powers sits at a middle tier: more contents than an Elite Trainer Box, fewer packs than an Ultra-Premium Collection. Here is how it stacks up against two close products from the same era.
| Combined Powers Premium Collection | Paldean Fates PC ETB | Pokémon 151 Ultra-Premium Collection | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Release | February 23, 2024 | January 26, 2024 | October 6, 2023 |
| Promo cards | Lugia ex, Ho-Oh ex, Suicune ex, Mr. Mime (4 promos) | 2x Shiny Mimikyu (one with PC logo) | Etched Mew ex, full-art Mewtwo, metal Mew ex |
| Booster packs | 11 | 11 | 16 |
| Oversize card | Yes (Lugia ex) | No | No |
| Extras | 3 foil Tool cards | Pokémon Center exclusive sleeve variant | Playmat, deck box, coin, 65 sleeves |
The Paldean Fates PC ETB has the same pack count but focuses on a single Shiny Pokémon promo. The 151 UPC gives you more packs and full event accessories, but the promo focus is Kanto (Mew/Mewtwo) rather than Johto. Combined Powers is the Johto specialist.
Release timeline
The Combined Powers Premium Collection released February 23, 2024. That date coincided with the Paldean Fates Booster Bundle launch, making it a particularly active week for new Pokémon TCG product.

Who should buy it, and who should skip it
Buy it if you collect Johto legendaries in the Scarlet & Violet ex format. Lugia ex, Ho-Oh ex, and Suicune ex as etched foil promos do not exist in any other product. The oversize Lugia ex adds a display piece that is genuinely difficult to source standalone.
Skip it if you primarily want to pull cards from boosters rather than display promos. The 11 packs give reasonable pull opportunities, but a straight booster box from the same era gives you more packs per dollar with no premium attached. If the promo trio is not meaningful to you, a standard ETB may serve better.
Also skip it if you are new to authenticating sealed product. This collection has been out since 2024, and resealed fakes do circulate on the secondary market.
Check every seal point and the box crimps before purchasing from a non-specialist seller. Our guide to spotting fake Pokémon products covers the specific checks for sealed premium boxes.
