Delta Reign Retail Promo Cards: How to Get Kyogre, Groudon and Giratina (2026)
By Dexhaul Team · October 30, 2026 · 6 min read
Three exclusive Pokémon TCG promo cards featuring Kyogre, Groudon and Giratina are available starting November 6, 2026, the same day Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution Delta Reign launches in English. Which card you receive depends entirely on where you shop: each of the three Legendaries is tied to a specific set of retailers.
The offer runs at participating stores in the US, Canada and Australia. Spend $15 or more on Pokémon TCG products in a single transaction, and the retailer hands you one of these cards as a gift with purchase.
Supplies are limited and the offer ends when stock runs out.
Which retailer carries which Delta Reign promo card
The delta reign retail promo card kyogre groudon giratina distribution is not random: each Legendary is exclusive to one chain or group of chains, as confirmed by The Pokémon Company on October 23, 2026. Here is the full breakdown.
| Promo card | Retailer | Region |
|---|---|---|
| Kyogre | Hot Topic, Barnes & Noble, Five Below, Macy's | US |
| Groudon | GameStop | US |
| Groudon | EB Games | Canada, Australia |
| Giratina | Best Buy | US |
| Giratina | Toymate, Mr Toys | Australia |
Kyogre has the widest retail footprint across four different US store types: entertainment retail, bookstores, discount chains and department stores. Groudon is exclusive to GameStop and its Australian/Canadian equivalent EB Games, the narrowest distribution of the three. Giratina lands at electronics retailers.

How to qualify: the $15 spend rule
The rule is the same at every participating retailer: spend $15 or more on Pokémon Trading Card Game products in a single purchase starting November 6, 2026.
The offer works both in-store and online. Availability is while supplies last, which means the first days of the launch window are the best time to go. A single booster pack rarely hits $15 on its own, but a three-pack blister, booster bundle, ETB or collection box all clear the threshold easily.
The Delta Reign ETB costs well above the $15 threshold, so buying one at the relevant retailer on launch day covers the qualification in a single transaction. Booster bundles (six packs) and collection boxes also qualify.
What makes these Delta Reign promo cards different
All three cards carry the "Pokémon 30 / What's Your Favorite" logo, tying them to the broader 30th Anniversary celebration running through 2026.
That anniversary stamp does not appear on any card inside a standard Delta Reign booster pack. These retailer promos are the only way to add it to your collection. Kyogre, Groudon and Giratina all have significant history in the Delta Reign expansion's lore and art direction, making the trio a natural collector set even if they arrive from three different stores.
The cards are full-art promo prints distributed free. They are not sold separately by retailers or by The Pokémon Company.
Choosing the right Delta Reign product to spend $15 on
The type of Delta Reign product you buy affects which retailer you visit, which determines the promo you receive. A few practical notes before launch day.
GameStop and EB Games carry Groudon
These are dedicated game retail chains. Their Delta Reign inventory typically includes booster boxes, ETBs and bundles. If Groudon is your target, buy any Delta Reign TCG product at GameStop in the US or EB Games in Canada and Australia starting November 6, 2026.
Best Buy carries Giratina
Best Buy stocks Pokémon TCG products in its games and toys section. For Australian collectors, Toymate and Mr Toys carry Giratina. The ETB and booster bundle are the most common formats stocked at electronics and toy chains.
Kyogre is the easiest to find
With four qualifying US retailers, Kyogre offers the most flexibility. Hot Topic, Barnes & Noble, Five Below and Macy's all carry Pokémon TCG products. Five Below and Macy's tend to carry smaller formats; a booster bundle or themed collection box is more likely to be in stock at Hot Topic or Barnes & Noble.
All three Legendaries come from the same Delta Reign expansion, so any qualifying product at the matching retailer counts. You do not need to buy a specific Delta Reign product to receive a specific card; the retailer assignment alone determines which promo you get.

A note on collecting all three
Each retailer gives out one card, chosen by the chain. There is no option to select which Legendary you receive at a given store. To collect all three, you need to make separate $15+ purchases at stores in three different retail groups: a GameStop/EB Games transaction for Groudon, a Best Buy/Toymate/Mr Toys transaction for Giratina, and a Hot Topic, Barnes & Noble, Five Below or Macy's transaction for Kyogre.
A minimum of three separate $15 purchases would get you the complete set. The most efficient approach is to buy products you already planned to get on launch day and match each purchase to its retailer's promo.
As part of the 30th Anniversary celebration, these cards pair naturally with the 30th Celebration TCG line. All carry the "Pokémon 30 / What's Your Favorite" logo, which makes the trio thematically linked to the wider anniversary set running across 2026.
Holiday gift angle: Delta Reign as a qualifying purchase
November 6 falls right as the Q4 gift season opens. A Delta Reign ETB, booster bundle or collection box from any of the participating retailers qualifies for the promo and doubles as a strong Pokémon gift under $60.
If you are buying Delta Reign products as gifts anyway, matching the purchase to the right retailer adds a free promo card for the recipient. That is a meaningful bonus for a collector who wants all three Legendaries, especially given that Groudon (GameStop/EB Games only) and Giratina (Best Buy/Toymate only) have notably fewer retail options than Kyogre.
Frequently asked questions
When do the Delta Reign retailer promo cards become available?
Starting November 6, 2026, the same day the Delta Reign expansion releases in English. The offer runs while supplies last at each participating retailer.
Can I get a Delta Reign promo card online?
Yes. The offer is valid both in-store and online at participating retailers, according to the official Pokémon announcement published October 23, 2026.
Do all three Delta Reign promo cards look the same?
No. Kyogre, Groudon and Giratina each have their own card art. All three carry the "Pokémon 30 / What's Your Favorite" anniversary logo, which is the feature they share and the element that distinguishes them from standard booster-pull versions of those Pokémon.
Which promo card is hardest to get?
Groudon has the fewest participating retailers: GameStop in the US and EB Games in Canada and Australia only. That narrow distribution makes it the most difficult of the three to find, especially for collectors outside major metro areas with multiple GameStop locations.
Does buying packs inside a collection box count toward the $15 minimum?
The offer specifies spending $15 or more on Pokémon TCG products at the retailer. A collection box, ETB or booster bundle purchased as a whole unit counts as a single qualifying transaction. Buying individual loose booster packs also counts as long as the total is $15 or more in one purchase.
