Evolving Skies Booster Bundle (2021): How Many Packs?
By Dexhaul Team · October 19, 2026 · 6 min read
Six packs. That's the answer.
The Pokémon TCG: Sword & Shield Evolving Skies Booster Bundle contains six SWSH07 booster packs, each with ten cards, and nothing else. No promo card, no sleeves, no accessories. It launched alongside the full set on August 27, 2021.
Evolving Skies is one of the most sought-after out-of-print Sword & Shield sets, largely because it holds the complete Eeveelution V and VMAX lineup across its 225-card base set. The Booster Bundle was the cheapest retail format at launch, offering direct pack access without the sleeves and accessories of the Elite Trainer Box.

What's inside the Evolving Skies Booster Bundle
The bundle is factory sealed with no loose items. Inside, every pack is a standard Sword & Shield SWSH07 booster identical to the packs found in the Elite Trainer Box and Booster Display Box.
| Item | Quantity | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| SWSH07 Evolving Skies booster packs | 6 | 10 cards per pack, 1 rare or better guaranteed |
| Cards per pack | 10 | Standard Sword & Shield booster configuration |
| Pokémon TCG Live code cards | 6 | One per booster pack |
| Promo cards | 0 | Not included |
| Sleeves or accessories | 0 | Not included |
The set's pull rate for chase cards is consistent with any other sealed Evolving Skies product. Eeveelution V, VMAX, and Rainbow Rare cards appear at the same rate whether you're opening a bundle, an ETB, or a booster box pack.
What the Booster Bundle does not include: a playmat, coin, damage counters, condition markers, or any of the accessory contents found in the Evolving Skies Elite Trainer Box. It is strictly a six-pack opening product.
Price per pack: Booster Bundle vs other formats
Evolving Skies has been out of print since 2021. Secondary market prices for all formats are substantially above original retail. The Booster Bundle originally offered the lowest cost-per-pack of any SWSH07 retail product.
| Format | Packs | Observed price (Oct 2026) | Approx. per pack |
|---|---|---|---|
| Booster Bundle | 6 | £47.99 GBP (shopatbearhugs.com) | ~£8.00/pack |
| Elite Trainer Box (ETB) | 8 | $453.75 USD (common-lands.com) | ~$56.72/pack |
| Booster Box (36-pack) | 36 | $2,227.61 USD (streetretail.nyc) | ~$61.88/pack |
| Single booster pack | 1 | $48.99–$85.00 USD | $48.99–$85.00/pack |
The unique insight here is the price inversion. At original retail, the Booster Bundle was the most economical format by cost-per-pack. On the secondary market in 2026, single packs have become so individually priced that the bundle and booster box now trade at a comparable per-pack rate, and the ETB's accessory premium has largely compressed out. Sealed bundle lots are still the lowest-friction sealed entry point for this set.
How it compares: Booster Bundle, ETB, and Booster Box
All three formats draw from the same SWSH07 booster pack pool. The difference is accessories, pack count, and price tier.
| Format | Packs | Promo card | Accessories | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Booster Bundle | 6 | None | None | Opening packs, value-focused buyers |
| Elite Trainer Box | 8 | Full-art Rayquaza VMAX or Umbreon VMAX | 65 sleeves, dice, markers, coin | Players, collectors wanting accessories |
| Booster Box | 36 | None | None | Full-set collectors, bulk opening |
The Evolving Skies ETB came in two versions: one featuring Espeon VMAX, Sylveon VMAX, Vaporeon VMAX, and Glaceon VMAX on the sleeves, and a Pokémon Center exclusive version. Both include 8 packs and accessories. The Booster Bundle has none of that, but it costs less per unit for pure pack access.

Who the Booster Bundle is for, and who should skip it
The Evolving Skies Booster Bundle is the right pick if you want sealed Evolving Skies packs and nothing else.
Buy the Booster Bundle if
You want to open Evolving Skies packs and already have sleeves, dice, and accessories from other sets. Six packs is a reasonable session for an opening video or a solo pack-opening at the kitchen table, without the higher buy-in of a full booster box.
Skip it if
You want the full Evolving Skies accessories experience: the ETB's sleeve art featuring four Eeveelution VMAXs is one of the most iconic sleeve designs from the Sword & Shield era, and it includes eight packs plus a promo card. If sleeves and the promo matter to you, the Evolving Skies Elite Trainer Box is the only format that includes them.
Also consider individual booster packs if your goal is a specific booster art variant. Evolving Skies has four booster pack art designs (Rayquaza, Umbreon, Leafeon, and Glaceon), and some collectors seek sealed packs by art. The Booster Bundle ships as a sealed unit: you cannot choose which pack arts are inside.
Q4 gift note
Evolving Skies sealed products are premium gifts for collectors who missed the set at retail. The Booster Bundle is one of the more compact sealed formats, which makes it practical for gifting. For a broader overview of sealed gift options across all price tiers, see the 2026 Holiday Gift Guide.
