Paldean Fates Mini Tins (2024): Contents and MSRP
By Dexhaul Team · October 9, 2026 · 6 min read
Each Paldean Fates Mini Tin holds two Scarlet & Violet: Paldean Fates booster packs, one sticker sheet, and one art card. The MSRP at launch was $9.99 USD, per the official Pokémon product gallery. Five tin designs released on February 9, 2024: Maushold, Smoliv, Tinkatink, Finizen, and Flamigo.
Paldean Fates is a Special Set, released without a traditional booster box. That makes the Mini Tin the lowest single-product MSRP in the entire lineup, below even the Tech Sticker Collection.
What's inside a Paldean Fates Mini Tin
| Item | Quantity | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Scarlet & Violet: Paldean Fates booster packs | 2 | 10 cards each; standard SV-era pack contents |
| Sticker sheet | 1 | Features the Pokémon on the tin design |
| Art card | 1 | Full-art card featuring the tin's Pokémon |
No promo card, no coin, no damage counters. The sticker sheet and art card are design-specific, so a Flamigo tin contains Flamigo stickers and a Flamigo art card. Neither item is tradeable on the secondary market at any meaningful value; the draw here is the booster packs.
Each Scarlet & Violet-era booster pack contains 10 cards: one reverse holo, one rare or better, seven commons/uncommons, and one basic Energy. Paldean Fates is the "shiny" Special Set for the Scarlet & Violet era, meaning every non-trainer card in the set has a chance to appear as a Shiny version, per the official Paldean Fates expansion page.

MSRP and price per pack
| Product | MSRP | Packs included | MSRP per pack | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Paldean Fates Mini Tin | $9.99 USD | 2 | ~$5.00 | pokemon.com |
| Paldean Fates Tech Sticker Collection | $14.99 USD | 3 | ~$5.00 | pokemon.com |
| Paldean Fates Booster Bundle | $19.99 USD | 6 | ~$3.33 | press.pokemon.com |
At MSRP the Mini Tin and Tech Sticker Collection work out to identical price per pack. The Booster Bundle, released February 23, 2024, is the better buy if pack count is the priority.
Because Paldean Fates has no booster box, there is no wholesale path keeping individual pack prices close to MSRP. Current independent-seller prices for single tins typically run well above the original $9.99.
The five Paldean Fates Mini Tin designs
All five designs feature Gen 9 Pokémon introduced in Scarlet & Violet. Each tin is available separately; no design is a variant or regional exclusive. If you want the complete set, several sellers list sealed sets of all five.
The five designs are Maushold, Smoliv, Tinkatink, Finizen, and Flamigo. All are Gen 9 Pokémon introduced in Scarlet & Violet.
Maushold is the family form of Tandemaus. Finizen evolves into Palafin. Smoliv evolves into Arboliva, Tinkatink into Tinkaton, and Flamigo has no further evolutions.
No tin design is harder to find than the others at the wholesale level. Any price differences in the secondary market reflect local demand rather than supply restrictions.
How the Mini Tin compares to other Paldean Fates products
Paldean Fates launched as a Special Set, which means it skipped the standard booster box and booster display formats. This is the same structure The Pokémon Company used for Hidden Fates in 2019 and Shining Fates in 2021. The Mini Tin sits at the bottom of the product ladder by MSRP.
| Product | Release date | MSRP | Packs | Extras |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mini Tin (any design) | Feb 9, 2024 | $9.99 | 2 | Sticker sheet, art card |
| Tech Sticker Collection | Jan 26, 2024 | $14.99 | 3 | Promo card, tech sticker (Shiny Fidough, Greavard, or Maschiff) |
| Booster Bundle | Feb 23, 2024 | $19.99 | 6 | None |
| Elite Trainer Box (ETB) | Jan 26, 2024 | $49.99 | 9 | Promo card, sleeves, dice, coin, damage counters, storage box |
If you want a promo card, the Tech Sticker Collection is the better Mini Tin alternative at only $5 more. If you want volume, the Booster Bundle beats both on a per-pack basis. The Mini Tin makes most sense as a gift, a low-commitment first purchase, or for a collector who specifically wants the tin packaging or one of the five design Pokémon.

Who should buy a Paldean Fates Mini Tin
Buy it if you want the lowest-cost sealed Paldean Fates product, a compact tin to display, or you are buying a gift for a fan of one of the five featured Pokémon. The tin format travels well and stores cards safely once opened.
Skip it if your goal is maximizing pack count per dollar. The Booster Bundle at $19.99 for six packs is a better value unless you specifically want the tin packaging or the sticker and art card bonuses. If a promo card matters, the Tech Sticker Collection offers a Shiny Fidough, Greavard, or Maschiff promo for five dollars more.
These tins also make a solid starting point for a new collector. Two packs are enough to see what Paldean Fates pulls are like without a large commitment. For more on authenticating any sealed product you buy, see our guide to spotting fake Pokémon products.
Paldean Fates is the Scarlet & Violet era's "Special Set," structured identically to Hidden Fates (2019) and Shining Fates (2021). Collectors who completed those sets often target Paldean Fates for continuity.
The Mini Tin is the most affordable sealed piece to own from the set without committing to an ETB or Booster Bundle. For a look at how the Japanese version maps to the English release, see our Shiny Treasure ex (SV4a) English equivalent guide.
