How Many Packs Are in the Pokémon 151 Booster Bundle (2023)
By Dexhaul Team · October 7, 2026 · 5 min read
The Pokémon 151 Booster Bundle contains six booster packs from Scarlet & Violet 151, the set that brought every one of the original 151 Kanto Pokémon into the modern Scarlet & Violet card era.
Each pack holds 10 cards and one Pokémon Trading Card Game Live code card. At its September 22, 2023 launch, the bundle carried an MSRP of $24.99 USD, making it the most cost-efficient sealed format in the 151 lineup on a pure per-pack basis.
Current prices on independent shops vary widely depending on condition and seller. If you are comparing formats, see our Pokémon 3-Pack Blister vs Booster Bundle guide for a breakdown of which sealed format makes the most sense for your goals.

What's inside the Pokémon 151 Booster Bundle
The contents are the same across all English printings of this product.
| Item | Quantity | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Scarlet & Violet 151 booster packs | 6 | 10 cards each; set code SV3.5 |
| Pokémon TCG Live code cards | 6 | One per pack; redeemable online |
| Total cards (minimum) | 60 | Mix of Commons, Uncommons, Rares and higher |
Each booster pack draws from the full set of 207 cards documented on Bulbapedia: 165 cards in the main set plus 42 secret rares numbered 166/165 and above.
Rarity tiers run from Common and Uncommon up through Double Rare (two black stars), Ultra Rare (two silver stars), Illustration Rare (one gold star), Special Illustration Rare (two gold stars), and Hyper Rare (three gold stars). The Scarlet & Violet rarity system is explained in full on the official Pokémon TCG news page.
The big chase cards in this set are Charizard ex (026/165, Double Rare) and its Special Illustration Rare (199/165), plus Mew ex (205/165 SIR) and the full-art Venusaur ex (184/165, Illustration Rare). Opening six packs gives you a reasonable shot at one or two rares but no guarantee of a hit.
MSRP and price per pack
The Booster Bundle delivers the lowest MSRP per pack of any major 151 sealed product. That gap is the main reason to choose it over the Elite Trainer Box if you want cards and nothing else.
| Product | Packs | MSRP at launch | MSRP per pack |
|---|---|---|---|
| Booster Pack (single) | 1 | $3.99 USD | $3.99 |
| Booster Bundle (this product) | 6 | $24.99 USD | $4.17 |
| Elite Trainer Box (ETB) | 9 | $49.99 USD | $5.55 |
| Ultra-Premium Collection (UPC) | 16 | $119.99 USD | $7.50 |
The ETB and UPC per-pack figures include the cost of accessories, which partially offsets the difference. At MSRP, the ETB's sleeves, dice, and player's guide are worth roughly $8 on their own, bringing its effective pack cost closer to $4.66 than the headline $5.55.
Current observed prices on independent shops as of October 2026 are considerably higher across all formats. The Booster Bundle ranges from approximately $76 to $165 USD depending on the seller and condition.
How it compares to other Pokémon 151 formats
The table below covers the four main sealed formats available at launch. Each offers a different balance of pack count, accessories, and price.
| Format | Packs | MSRP | What's exclusive |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3-Pack Blister | 3 | ~$11.99 USD | Includes a promo card (varies by blister) |
| Booster Bundle | 6 | $24.99 USD | Packs only; lowest MSRP per pack |
| Elite Trainer Box (ETB) | 9 | $49.99 USD | 65 sleeves, 6 damage dice, player's guide, coin |
| Ultra-Premium Collection (UPC) | 16 | $119.99 USD | Mew ex promo card, premium accessories, oversized card |
Full contents for the ETB are in the Pokémon 151 Elite Trainer Box guide. The UPC is covered in the Pokémon 151 Ultra-Premium Collection guide. Both pages include current observed prices.

| September 22, 2023 | English Scarlet & Violet 151 released in the US |

Who it's for, and who should skip it
The Booster Bundle is the right pick for players who want fresh 151 packs without paying the ETB premium and have no use for sleeves or accessories.
It also makes sense as a mid-range gift for a collector who already has accessories. Six packs is a satisfying amount to open: enough variety to land at least a few interesting cards without being a multi-hour opening session.
Skip it if you want accessories
The Elite Trainer Box costs $25 more at MSRP but adds 65 card sleeves, damage counter dice, and a player's guide. If the recipient does not yet own sleeves, the ETB is a better value even at the higher price.
Skip it for high-volume pack opening
Six packs is a small sample size. For bulk openings, the UPC's 16 packs bring you closer to the statistical average pull rate, and its Mew ex promo card adds standalone value.

Six packs. Each contains 10 cards and one Pokémon TCG Live code card.
What is the MSRP of the Pokémon 151 Booster Bundle?
$24.99 USD at the September 2023 launch. Current prices on the secondary market vary; observed prices on independent shops range from approximately $76 to $165 USD as of October 2026.
What set is the 151 Booster Bundle from?

Yes, one digital code card per pack (six total) for Pokémon Trading Card Game Live. These let you redeem the pack's contents in the free digital version of the TCG.
Is there a booster box for Pokémon 151?
The Pokémon Company did not release a traditional 36-pack booster box for the English 151 set at retail launch. The Booster Bundle (6 packs), Elite Trainer Box (ETB, 9 packs), and Ultra-Premium Collection (UPC, 16 packs) were the primary sealed formats. Multi-bundle display cases exist but are packs of the Booster Bundle rather than a single large box product.
