Misdreavus and Mismagius Collector's Guide 2026: Fit Plush, the Fantina Connection, and Every Price Tier
By Dexhaul Team · September 22, 2026
Ghost-type season opens in September, and no two Pokémon ride that window better than Misdreavus and Mismagius.
Misdreavus debuted in Gold and Silver as one of only three Ghost-types introduced in Generation 2, and its evolution Mismagius arrived in Diamond and Pearl alongside the Ghost-type Gym Leader Fantina. That Sinnoh connection anchors the TCG arc worth understanding before you buy. Plush, cards, and figures all tell different parts of the story, and prices span from $2 to $265 depending on where you enter.
Here is every collector tier, organized by product type.
The Plush Case: Fit, All Star Collection, and the Pokedoll Premium
The easiest entry for either character is the Pokémon fit plush line, and this evolution pair has an unusual pricing relationship.
Misdreavus fit lists at $17.00 from Ichiba Japan. Mismagius fit runs $19.00 from the same seller.
A $2 gap between pre-evolution and fully evolved form is nearly flat, which is not typical for a two-stage line. Most evolution-line fit pairings carry a larger premium on the final form. Here, the difference amounts to less than a single booster pack.
Both are Japanese Pokémon Center originals sold through importers. Collector Store LLC lists the Mismagius fit at $24.99 if you want a US-based seller. Poke Merch Market carries both Sitting Cuties variants at $30 each, which is the correct name for the same fit line in Western retail.
Above the fit tier is the Sanei All Star Collection. Misdreavus PP44 runs $28 at Ichiba Japan or $29.99 at Board Wipe in the US.
The Sanei plush uses a slightly larger size and a different seated sculpt from the fit line. Both versions of the Misdreavus figure are in stock right now.
At the ceiling sits the Mismagius Pokedoll. Select Anime lists a used copy at $144.99. The Pokedoll format was discontinued years ago, and used copies with intact tags carry a significant premium over new fit-line releases.
A $144.99 used Pokedoll vs. a $19 new fit plush is a 7.6x gap. That spread exists entirely because one format is still in production and the other is not.
TCG Entry Points: $2 Gets You In
The cheapest way into the TCG side is the modern Scarlet and Violet era.
Mismagius 88/193 uncommon from Paldea Evolved runs $2.00 at Brickheads Collectables. The reverse holo version of Misdreavus 87/193 from the same set is also $2.00 at the same seller.
These are not chase cards. They are clean, in-set references for collectors who want every Misdreavus and Mismagius appearance without a budget commitment.
The character's single best modern art card is Mismagius 212/193, the Illustration Rare from Paldea Evolved. It shows Mismagius in a stylized, full-bleed scene that does not exist anywhere else in the Scarlet and Violet card pool. At $40.00 from Aloha Card Shop, it is the apex Mismagius card in any current English set.
Mismagius has no ex card or SIR in any English Scarlet and Violet main series set as of September 2026. The IR 212/193 is the character's ceiling in the current English card pool.
The GL LV.X: Fantina's Card and the Platinum Era
The most expensive Mismagius card in the catalogue is not a modern Scarlet and Violet release.
Mismagius GL LV.X 110/111 from Platinum: Rising Rivals (2009) lists at $75.00 from Final Boss Games and CA$139.50 at Sunny Hobbies. The GL designation stands for Gym Leader in the SP Pokémon mechanic introduced during the Platinum era. Rising Rivals built the SP system around the Sinnoh Gym Leaders, and Mismagius GL is Fantina's Mismagius: the Hearthome City Ghost-type specialist whose signature Pokémon is Mismagius in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum.
The LV.X mechanic, introduced in the Diamond and Pearl era and retired after the Heartgold and SoulSilver era, required placing the LV.X on top of the matching Pokémon already in play. That mechanic has never returned in any subsequent format, making the full SP Pokémon LV.X catalog a closed collector set.
Mismagius GL 10/111 (the base form, not the LV.X) costs $12.00 from PvP Shoppe. That card stacks directly with the LV.X in collection display. Some collectors buy both: the base GL to show the regular-play version, and the LV.X as the apex card above it.
Vintage Picks: Neo Revelation and Skyridge
The oldest Misdreavus card in current-market circulation is Neo Revelation 11/64 from 2001.
Raw NM copies run $58 at E4 Cards. A graded CGC 8.5 of the 1st Edition version lists at $265.
Neo Revelation had noticeably lower print runs in North America than Base Set or Jungle. The Johto sets have seen renewed collector interest alongside the 30th Anniversary Celebration set in 2026. Misdreavus 11/64 is a holo rare, not a common or uncommon, so raw copies above NM are meaningful upgrades.
Misdreavus also appears in Skyridge as card 39/144 at CA$26.50 from Sunny Hobbies. Skyridge is a 2003 e-Card era set with extremely limited Western distribution, and non-holo cards from the set carry a floor premium that does not exist for Jungle or Base Set commons. The $26.50 Skyridge Misdreavus is not a chase card inside Skyridge, but it represents structural e-Card scarcity that applies to almost every card in that set regardless of rarity tier.
For Mismagius, the Diamond and Pearl era provides the accessible vintage entry. The D&P base set Reverse Holo Mismagius 10/130 lists at $22.46 at Deck Out Gaming. That is the character's earliest English card, from the 2007 set that introduced Mismagius to the TCG alongside Sinnoh's full Pokédex.
Halloween Product Appearances
Mismagius has appeared as a stamped holo in the annual Trick or Trade BOOster sets.
The 2022 Trick or Trade Mismagius 059/189 with a Halloween BOO stamp runs $5.00 at Wyck3d and as low as $0.13 for loose copies at Edy's Treasures. The BOOster format is designed for Halloween trick-or-treating distribution, priced for bulk giving. That makes any individual stamped card inexpensive as a seasonal addition to a Mismagius collection.
September is the practical window to purchase Ghost-type collector items before October demand peaks. Prices on plush and Halloween-stamped cards tend to be softest in the second half of September, before the search volume shift in early October.
