The four possible promo cards (SWSH112–SWSH115)
The four promos are all Black Star cards in the SWSH series, each alternate-art and holographic foil with a Chilling Reign expansion stamp. One is included per box at random.

At a prerelease event, each player used one Build & Battle Box to construct a 40-card deck: combine the 23-card Evolution Pack with the four booster packs, then trim to a legal deck size and play on the spot.
Display cases of 10 Build & Battle Boxes were also available for game store operators.
