30th Celebration Wave 2: What the October Calendar Looks Like Now That It's Live
By Dexhaul Team · October 3, 2026
Wave 2 is live.
The 30th Celebration Booster Bundle, Elite Trainer Box, Mini Tins, and Battle Decks all hit independent retailers on October 2. The Mewtwo SVP052 GWP window opened at GameStop, Best Buy, and Hot Topic for any $15+ purchase. The question now isn't "when does this launch." It's what October looks like from here.
The short answer: there's one notable gap in the Wave 2 product list, a small October release most people aren't tracking, and a November 6 collision that will cost more than Wave 2 if you're not planning for it.
The Booster Bundle floor, 24 hours in
The Booster Bundle carries an MSRP of $79.99. The day-2 floor across active independent sellers is sitting at $84.95.
That 6% premium above MSRP is typical for the first week of a Mega Evolution release at independent retailers, where allocation isn't always guaranteed at street date. The $90 Hasty Cards listing and the $104.95 Sports-card-zone listing show the spread.
Per-pack math: at the $84.95 floor, the Bundle's six packs work out to $14.16 per pack. The Elite Trainer Box at $179.95 for nine packs is $19.99 per pack. The Bundle is 29% cheaper per pack right now.
That trade-off is straightforward: if you want to open packs without paying the ETB premium for accessories and dice, the Bundle is the better entry at this price point.
The standard ETB floor is $179.95 at independent sellers, with listings at $244 from some storefronts. According to the official 30th Celebration product page, the ETB includes 9 booster packs, a full-art promo card, and accessories.
The Pokémon Center ETB carries 11 packs and sold through its initial allocation almost immediately. That PC variant is the one most people were watching, and it's no longer at launch prices.
Mini Tins: display math vs individual
The Mini Tin Display format (10 tins per display box) is landing at $299.95 to $329.95 USD from independent sellers.
At the $299.95 floor, that's $29.99 per tin from the display. Individual tin listings from Canadian sellers are sitting at CA$49.99, which at current exchange rates works out to roughly $36 USD. Display boxes are the better per-unit value right now if you're buying multiple tins, not individual character-specific singles.
The nine individual character variants span Kanto Legendaries, Eeveelutions, and fan favorites. Each tin has two booster packs and a character-specific art card.
The display of 10 uses a random-assortment mix: you won't choose which character tins appear in the box. If character targeting matters for a specific variant, individual listings are the only route despite the currency premium.
The Battle Deck situation
Espeon ex and Umbreon ex Battle Decks are live and available from multiple sellers, with prices running $39.99 to $42.95 per individual deck. As noted by Serebii's 30th Celebration set listing, these are standalone competitive-ready decks built around the two Eeveelution ex cards featured in the set.
One thing to note about the Victini ex Battle Deck: some independent sellers are currently listing it as a separate pre-order with estimated ship dates in late October rather than October 2. The Wave 1 Espeon ex and Umbreon ex decks launched on schedule, but the full roster of 30th Celebration Battle Decks may not be a single-wave release. Buyers who wanted the complete set on Oct 2 likely found only two of the three decks available.
The set of two (Espeon and Umbreon together) is available from MHDEALSPLUS at $69.95, which is roughly $10 below buying them separately at floor prices.
October 23: the overlooked release
Amid the Wave 2 coverage, one October release has been mostly quiet: the Deck Crafter's Collection on October 23.
It is the cheapest official Pokémon TCG product releasing this month. Pre-orders are landing at $9.99 to $14.99 at independent sellers, making it a genuinely accessible purchase in a month that otherwise runs $40 to $179 for a single product. The collection is aimed at new and returning players building their first deck, and it includes one booster pack plus deck-building accessories.
The Deck Crafter's Collection is not a collector priority in the same tier as the 30th Celebration products. But it is a low-friction entry point for anyone who picked up a battle deck and wants one more sealed product in October without spending another $40 to $80. It also arrives a week before the Victini ex Battle Deck's expected late-October window, which creates a natural two-product sequence if you're pacing purchases.
November 6: the real budget crunch
The next major date after Wave 2 and the Deck Crafter's Collection is November 6.
That date carries a multi-product collision that will strain October budgets if you're not planning for it. According to the Limitless TCG 30th Celebration card index and current pre-order listings, the November 6 wave includes: ME06 Delta Reign EN (the Elite Trainer Box floor is already at $109.95 for pre-orders), the 30th Celebration Figure Collections for both Mewtwo and Mew (each at $99.95), and the 30th Celebration Binder Collection ($69.95).
Buying both Figure Collections plus the Binder Collection alone totals $269.85 before any shipping costs. Adding an ME06 ETB brings that to roughly $380. That's a larger single-day spend than most Wave 2 combinations, and it hits 34 days after Wave 2.
The Figure Collections are the highest-priority pre-orders in that window. Each contains a figure-sized Mewtwo or Mew model alongside booster packs and a premium promo card. They are collector-focused products with no gameplay equivalent.
Pre-ordering now locks the $99.95 price. These sell through allocation windows rather than sitting in wide distribution, and the Mew and Mewtwo versions are separate SKUs at the same price.
The Binder Collection is the easiest to defer. It includes booster packs, a binder, and sleeves. Useful for storage, but not a sealed-product priority.
If the November 6 total is too high, the Binder Collection is the natural cut.
The October window
Between now and November 6, there are roughly four weeks of calm for 30th Celebration collectors.
Wave 2 is on shelves. The GWP window is open at major retailers with any $15+ purchase. Mini Tins and Booster Bundles are available from independent sellers at floor prices above MSRP but below the initial asking-price peaks.
Deck Crafter's Collection arrives October 23 as a low-cost mid-month option. Victini ex Battle Deck is expected in late October based on current retailer pre-order data, though no official date has been confirmed.
The only 30th Celebration Wave 2 product that is genuinely constrained is the Pokémon Center ETB, which sold through its first allocation already. Secondary market prices for the PC ETB will likely hold until a restock or until the November 6 wave shifts attention to the Figure Collections.
If you're still deciding on Wave 2, the Booster Bundle at $84.95 is the most accessible entry point by per-pack math. If you're already done with Wave 2, November 6 is the date to build toward.
