Shrouded Fable Pokémon Center ETB (2024): Contents and MSRP

The Shrouded Fable Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box is the only product in the set that includes two Pecharunt promo cards.

It contains 11 Shrouded Fable booster packs, a full-art foil Pecharunt promo without any stamp, and a second version of the same promo with an exclusive Pokémon Center logo. MSRP was $69.99 at launch at the Pokémon Center on August 23, 2024 (per the official product gallery). That was three weeks after the Shrouded Fable set itself released on August 2, 2024.

For a broader overview of the set, see the Shrouded Fable (SV6.5) guide.

What's inside the Shrouded Fable Pokémon Center ETB

The PC-logo Pecharunt promo is the defining exclusive here. It carries the same full-art treatment as the version in the regular ETB, so the only visible difference between the two promos inside the box is the Pokémon Center logo stamp. Both are genuine, officially licensed cards.

At two additional packs, the premium per extra pack versus the regular ETB works out to $10 for those packs, leaving roughly $10 for the exclusive stamp itself. Whether that is worth it depends on whether you collect Pokémon Center-logo promos as a category.

How it compares to similar products

Two points of comparison matter most: the regular Shrouded Fable ETB and the Paldean Fates Pokémon Center ETB, which used the same format at the same price point earlier in 2024.

In both the Shrouded Fable and Paldean Fates PC ETBs, the two promos share the same art. The PC-logo version carries an exclusive stamp, not a different illustration.

Collectors seeking a distinct card variant get the stamp. Collectors who want extra packs at a discount are better served by the regular ETB at $49.99.

Release timeline

The Shrouded Fable set followed an unusual two-phase launch in August 2024. Most SV sets release all products on the same day, but Shrouded Fable split the set launch from the ETB launch by three weeks.

The three-week gap meant that players who bought packs at launch could not use the ETB accessories at a prerelease or launch event. If you are planning around event play with the Shrouded Fable sleeves and deck box, the dates are worth noting. For the Japanese equivalent, see the Night Wanderer (SV6a) import guide.

Who it's for, and who should skip it

Buy the Pokémon Center ETB if

You want the PC-logo Pecharunt promo as a sealed-product exclusive. The Pokémon Center-stamped card was not available in any other product. It also suits players who want 11 packs in a single box rather than a separate pack alongside a regular ETB.

Skip it and buy the regular ETB if

You care about the cards and not the stamp. The regular Shrouded Fable ETB includes the same standard Pecharunt promo, the same set packs, and the same accessories at $49.99 MSRP versus $69.99. If the Pokémon Center logo on one card is not meaningful to your collection, the regular ETB costs roughly $20 less for two fewer packs.

Consider neither if

Your goal is maximum pack count at the lowest per-pack cost. Both ETBs carry a per-pack cost above the standard booster pack retail price. For raw pack volume, a Shrouded Fable booster box (36 packs) is the more efficient option, assuming you have no use for the accessories or promos.
