ME07 Aura Seeker is 56 days from its Japanese launch, and the pre-order window is fully open.

The set lands in Japan on Nov 27, 2026. Four ex★ cards have been confirmed. Pre-order ETBs are live across multiple retailers with prices ranging from $108 to $137 USD.

Legends: Z-A arrives in 14 days on Oct 16 with Mega Lucario Z, a design tied directly to the ME07 arc. Oct 2 is a reasonable moment to take stock of where things actually stand.

Four Confirmed ex★ Cards

The four ex★ slots in ME07 Aura Seeker have been confirmed: Lucario, Suicune, Entei, and Raikou. The ex★ rarity tier was introduced in ME01 as the highest rarity in the Mega Evolution TCG series, with one confirmed ex★ per set. ME07 has four, which is the first time the tier has appeared at that count in a single set.

Three of the four have no canonical Mega Evolution in any main-series Pokémon game.

Suicune, Entei, and Raikou have never had Mega forms in the games: not in X and Y, not in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, not in any subsequent title. ME07 Aura Seeker will mark the first time official Mega designs for all three Johto beasts exist simultaneously.

That positions these three cards differently than a Mega Lucario ex★, which references a mechanic and a visual language that collectors have seen across multiple products. A Mega Suicune ex★ is a ME07 original in a way that does not apply to Lucario.

For context on how the ex★ tier tends to hold in the singles market, the Suicune V Special Art Rare from VSTAR Universe (sv4a, 215/172) is the nearest historical analogue: a Water-type legendary at the highest rarity tier of a Japanese-exclusive set. It currently lists at $36.70 to $38.68 USD from independent Japanese shops, roughly three years after the set's November 2022 release.

ME07 has not launched yet, so there is no singles pricing to reference directly. This is a data point, not a projection.

Two Different Mega Lucario Designs Arriving Six Weeks Apart

This is the detail that separates the ME07 collector story from every previous set in the arc.

Legends: Z-A launches Oct 16 and introduces Mega Lucario Z as an in-game form exclusive to the Kalos story. It is a new Mega design: distinct from the original Mega Lucario that appeared in the XY-era games and in TCG products going back to 2014. The ME07 Lucario ex★ card carries the standard Mega Lucario form, not the Z-A variant.

The result is two distinct official Mega Lucario designs entering the market within six weeks of each other. Mega Lucario Z in the games on Oct 16. The Lucario ex★ in ME07 on Nov 27 in Japan.

That has not happened with any Pokémon in franchise history: two simultaneously active, officially licensed Mega forms of the same species, each introduced through a different product line in the same release window.

For collectors who want the Mega Lucario Z design as a physical piece before the ME07 cards arrive, the Pokémon Center Japan plush is available now through importers. It is the first official Mega Lucario Z merchandise available outside Japan.

Where ETB Pre-Order Prices Stand on Oct 2

Wave 1 pre-order pricing for the ME07 ETB has been stable. The Gemzy listing opened in early September at $110 USD and sits at $108 USD today, bundled with an acrylic display case. That is a $2 movement over 25 days.

A $2 shift in 25 days is not a volatile market.

Wave 2 allocation has appeared on the same storefronts at $137 USD. The $29 spread between Wave 1 and Wave 2 pricing reflects the standard pre-order premium on later allocation windows: Wave 1 buyers carry more time risk in exchange for the lower price floor.

Wave 2 buyers pay for a shorter hold and later confirmation that the set is proceeding on schedule. Neither window is objectively better; the choice depends on how much price exposure matters versus how long you are comfortable holding an unshipped item.

The Booster Bundle is also in pre-order at $53 USD. It carries the Mega Lucario Z box art and includes fewer packs than the ETB. At $53 it is the lowest-cost entry point for the set, and it is the piece most directly tied to the Legends: Z-A crossover moment because of the artwork.

The 56-Day Pre-Order Window

Japan launch is Nov 27, 2026. English-language release has not been announced by The Pokémon Company.

The pre-announcement phase is historically the quietest price phase for the ME-series.

No JP release event to track, no EN date to anchor against, and no confirmed complete card list for the set's singles means demand has no concrete trigger to price against. ME06 Delta Reign followed a pattern where the EN announcement came roughly 4 to 6 weeks before the Japanese date; if ME07 moves on the same cadence, an EN announcement could arrive in mid-to-late October.

ETB pre-order prices on EN-region storefronts have historically moved upward on EN announcement day, when the set becomes searchable and demand becomes real for a wider audience. Fifty-six days out, that moment is still ahead.

The pre-order arc context matters for the decision.

ME01 ETBs at independent retailers today list at $130 USD. ME01 was the set that introduced the ex★ rarity and the Mega Lucario design that preceded both the Z-A version and the ME07 version. A ME01 ETB has been open for a full year; its price reflects the arc as a completed story, not as a pre-order.

ME07 is being positioned as the ex★ arc conclusion set.

Whether that positioning translates to a ME01-style long-term premium is not answerable from pre-order data alone. What is clear is that the set is trading at a stable floor right now, before the EN announcement catalyst, with four confirmed high-rarity cards and a game tie-in arriving in 14 days.

The practical options on Oct 2 are straightforward. The Booster Bundle at $53 is the lowest-risk entry point and is the format most tied to the Legends: Z-A launch moment via the artwork. The ETB at Wave 1 pricing ($108 with acrylic case included) is the floor for the main product.

Wave 2 at $137 is available for collectors who want confirmed allocation at a later ship window. All three are pre-orders shipping on or after the Nov 27 JP date. An EN date, if announced in late October, would not affect what has already been ordered.
