Aura Seeker ME07: What the English Pre-Order Prices Tell Collectors Right Now

English pre-orders for Mega Evolution ME07, Aura Seeker, are live at specialty retailers right now.

The set was announced at the closing ceremony of the Pokémon World Championships on August 30, 2026, with a confirmed Japanese release on November 27, 2026. English release is expected in early 2027. That gap between announcement and launch is roughly four to five months for the English version.

Yet the pre-order pricing is already visible, and it tells you more than a product title does.

The ex★ Rarity: What Aura Seeker Adds to the Mega Series

Aura Seeker introduces ex★ (pronounced "ex star"), a rarity tier above the Special Art Rare (SAR) level that defined the chase cards in ME sets ME01 through ME06.

The confirmed ex★ roster at time of announcement includes Mega Lucario Z ex as the flagship, Mega Greninja ex, and the three Johto legendary beasts: Suicune ex★, Entei ex★, and Raikou ex★.

One point worth flagging: Suicune, Entei, and Raikou have no Mega Evolution in the core series games. The Mega Evolution TCG line has always been able to Mega Evolve Pokémon beyond what the games allow, but Johto's legendary beasts as ex★ cards marks a broader departure from the game-canon roster than any previous ME set. Whether ex★ ends up as a single slot per pack or a tiered distribution across SAR and ex★ is not yet confirmed by official sources.

Reading the Pre-Order Pricing

Wave 1 ETB pre-orders, bundled with an acrylic display case, are listed at $111 at Gemzy. Wave 2 ETBs from Banana Games and Hobby come in at $124 for the standalone box. Both are above where ME06 Delta Reign ETBs settled on the open market ($96 from Mint Sports Cards).

Specialty retailers typically price 15 to 25 percent above MSRP to account for allocation limits and pre-order risk. Working backward from the current listings, the implied retail MSRP for ME07 ETBs sits in the $88 to $96 range. That is broadly in line with ME06 and reflects the gradual per-set price increase that has tracked through the ME series from ME01 onward.

The Booster Box data reinforces this.

Banana Games and Hobby has the ME07 Booster Box at $283 USD, while SKYFOX GAMES in Canada is at CA$324.99 (roughly $238 USD at current rates). ME06 Delta Reign Booster Boxes have been trading between $230 and $283 in the specialty market. ME07 is pricing at ME06 parity or a slight premium, not at a discount, which signals that retailers expect equivalent or stronger demand.

The Lowest Entry Point: ME07 Booster Bundle at $49

The most accessible ME07 format currently listed is the Booster Bundle from Banana Games and Hobby at $49.

Booster Bundles in the ME series typically include six packs, no Energy cards, no accessories, and no promo. They are the no-frills format for collectors who want pack quantity at the lowest cost per pack. At $49, ME07's bundle is priced above ME04 Chaos Rising's bundle ($34.95 to $37.99) but consistent with the rising MSRP trajectory across the series.

If you want to open ME07 packs without committing to a full Booster Box, the Bundle is your entry point.

Pre-Order Now or Wait: The Honest Assessment

ME06 Delta Reign showed a clear pattern: specialty Wave 1 ETBs at $96 sold through before the November 6 English launch, and buyers who missed them paid secondary-market premiums after the fact.

ME07 does not yet have confirmed Pokémon Center exclusive formats, a final English card list, or official set size numbers. The ex★ singles are entirely unpriced. Without knowing how many ex★ slots exist per box, or what chase card secondary market prices look like, calculating expected value from a Booster Box is not possible yet.

That is the honest gap in this window.

For format collectors who want every ME set sealed and are not opening for singles, the $111 Wave 1 ETB is likely the floor price before launch. Once Wave 1 allocation closes, the $124 Wave 2 is the next step. For singles collectors, the smarter move is waiting for the full card list and early secondary pricing from Japanese M7 singles, which will surface in November once the Japanese set releases.

The Booster Bundle at $49 sits between both camps. It is low enough that singles math doesn't need to clear a high bar, and it is not a long-term storage commitment. If you want to open packs on day one without betting on a full box, it is the position that costs the least to be wrong on.
