Delta Reign ME06 Booster Bundle Preorder Guide: Price Spread, Wave 2, and the Six-Pack Math
By Dexhaul Team · October 2, 2026
The Delta Reign ME06 Booster Bundle contains six booster packs. That single fact shapes every buying decision around it.
On preorder, current listings run from $44.95 to $87.00 USD for the exact same product. That is a $42 spread before you factor in shipping. Understanding what drives that gap, and where the wave 2 allocation signal fits in, is the whole point of this guide.
Delta Reign is the sixth Mega Evolution TCG expansion, scheduled for a November 6, 2026 release. Like ME05 Pitch Black before it, the Booster Bundle is a sealed six-pack format with no accessories included.
What Is in the Booster Bundle
Six booster packs from the Delta Reign card pool. Nothing else.
There are no sleeves, no coin, no damage counters, and no storage box. The Booster Bundle is purely sealed product at a reduced price point compared to the Elite Trainer Box. That is its entire value proposition.
Each pack draws from the full Delta Reign set list, which follows the standard Mega Evolution expansion format. That means access to the same Rayquaza ex SIR and Mega Golurk ex chase cards available in ETB packs. The packs themselves are identical regardless of which product format you open.
The Per-Pack Math
At the floor preorder price of $44.95, six packs works out to $7.49 per pack. The Elite Trainer Box floor is $99.95 for nine packs, which is $11.10 per pack.
That $3.61 per-pack gap compounds fast. Two Booster Bundles at MHDEALSPLUS cost $89.90 and deliver 12 packs at $7.49 each.
One ETB from the same seller costs $109.95 and delivers 9 packs at $12.22 each. Spend $20 more on two bundles instead and you get three additional packs.
The math holds even in the higher seller tier. PTC Collectibles lists the Booster Bundle at $87.00 and the ETB at comparable markup. The bundle-to-ETB per-pack ratio stays roughly the same regardless of which seller you are comparing within: the Bundle consistently prices at around $7 to $9 per pack, versus the ETB's $11 to $14 per pack range in current listings.
The ETB makes sense when you want what it comes with: card sleeves, a collector's coin, damage counters, energy cards, and a storage box. If you need those accessories, the ETB is the better format. If you already own ME05 Pitch Black or 30th Celebration sleeves and supplies, paying the ETB premium for accessories you will not use changes that math entirely.
The $42 Price Spread and What Causes It
A $44.95-to-$87.00 spread on the same six-pack product looks like an obvious answer: buy the cheaper one. In practice, it reflects different seller positioning rather than product differences.
Floor-price sellers like MHDEALSPLUS and Kardaria are competing aggressively on MSRP-adjacent preorder pricing. Higher-end listings from sellers like PTC Collectibles reflect their full MSRP estimate plus margin. The packs inside are identical across all of them.
The practical takeaway: the floor price represents what the bundle likely retails at or near, and the high end is speculative premium. If you are tracking this for value, $44.95 to $54.95 is the relevant zone. Anything above $60 on the bundle is a seller charging above what the format has historically supported at ME05 launch pricing.
The Wave 2 Allocation Signal
Two sellers, Gemzy and TruchaPokeShop, are currently listing the Delta Reign Booster Bundle with a "Wave 2" label. That label means their first allocation round pre-sold through and current orders are in the second fulfillment batch.
This is not a statement about how many bundles exist. It is a signal about early demand velocity at those specific sellers.
The same pattern appeared with the 30th Celebration ETB and the ME05 Pitch Black product line, both of which showed wave 2 allocation before launch without causing post-launch availability problems. The Booster Bundle format, with its lower price point and broader initial demand, historically clears through allocation waves faster than ETBs on a per-unit basis.
If you are watching a Wave 2 listing, you are ordering into a known fulfillment queue. The product will ship on the November 6 release window. The "Wave 2" tag is a seller inventory note, not a shortage warning.
The ME05 Precedent
Pitch Black (ME05) established the six-pack Booster Bundle template for the current ME arc.
Post-launch, the Pitch Black Booster Bundle settled at $39.99 to $49.95. Delta Reign ME06 is preordering today at $44.95 to $54.95 in the floor tier, which is essentially at ME05's post-launch price range before ME06 has even shipped. There is no significant discount to wait for if the ME05 precedent holds: the bundle's floor price at launch is where it stabilizes.
That has a practical implication. Waiting for a post-launch price drop on the Delta Reign Booster Bundle may not produce the savings you expect.
ME05 did not see meaningful bundle price reductions after launch because the $39.99 to $49.95 range was already close to the product's floor. ME06 is launching into a price range that is already comparable, five weeks before release.
Who Should Buy the Bundle vs the ETB
Buy the Booster Bundle if: you want maximum packs per dollar, you already own sleeves and accessories from a previous ME set, or you are building a Booster Bundle stack across the arc.
Buy the ETB if: you want the accessories, you are setting up a new player kit, or you prefer the storage box that ETBs include. The Delta Reign ETB at $99.95 to $109.99 is a reasonable preorder if the full package is what you need. Nine packs at $12.22 each is not a bad rate when the accessories have standalone value to you.
The Booster Bundle is not a budget compromise. It is a different format with a different per-pack structure. For players and collectors who already have their supplies handled, six packs at $7.49 each is simply the more efficient path into the Delta Reign card pool.
