Temporal Forces ETB (2024): Contents and MSRP
By Dexhaul Team · October 7, 2026 · 6 min read
The Temporal Forces ETB contains 9 booster packs, one foil promo card (either Walking Wake ex or Iron Leaves ex depending on which box you choose), 65 matching card sleeves, a deck box, 45 energy cards, damage counter dice, a coin-flip die, and a player's guide. MSRP was $49.99 at launch per tcg.pokemon.com. The set (SV05) released March 22, 2024.
It comes in two versions: the Walking Wake box (blue) and the Iron Leaves box (green). Both contain exactly the same accessories, with the only difference being the promo card and sleeve artwork inside.
What's Inside the Temporal Forces Elite Trainer Box
The contents are identical across both box versions, except for the promo card and sleeves.

|---|---|---|
| Booster packs | 9 | Scarlet & Violet 05 Temporal Forces |
| Foil promo card | 1 | Walking Wake ex (Walking Wake box) or Iron Leaves ex (Iron Leaves box) |
| Card sleeves | 65 | Walking Wake or Iron Leaves artwork to match the box version |
| Deck box | 1 | Holds a full sleeved 60-card deck |
| Energy cards | 45 | Basic Energy, assorted types |

Two Versions: Walking Wake and Iron Leaves
Each version ships with the promo card that matches its box artwork. The Walking Wake ETB (blue) contains Walking Wake ex; the Iron Leaves ETB (green) contains Iron Leaves ex.
This matters more than it looks. Both promos are only available through sealed products, not as standalone singles in standard booster packs. If you want both promos, you need both boxes.
Walking Wake ex is a Water-type Paradox Pokémon based on Suicune. Iron Leaves ex is a Grass-type Paradox Pokémon based on Virizion. Both were held back from the English Paradox Rift set and appeared exclusively in Temporal Forces, making this the only English sealed product to include either promo.
The sleeves are also box-specific. Walking Wake sleeves use the blue box artwork; Iron Leaves sleeves use the green. Both are the same 65-count standard format.
MSRP and Price Per Pack
| Product | MSRP | Packs | MSRP Per Pack | Observed Price (Oct 7, 2026) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Temporal Forces ETB (standard) | $49.99 | 9 | $5.55 | $104.99–$145.00 |
| Temporal Forces ETB (Pokémon Center) | $69.99 | 11 | $6.36 | $191.99–$287.50 |
The set is no longer stocked at major retail channels, so all current pricing reflects independent sellers.
The Pokémon Center ETB
The Pokémon Center exclusive ETB adds two extra packs and uses stamped promo cards.
Both promos in the PC ETB carry a Pokémon Center logo stamp, making them distinct from the standard versions. The stamp is the only cosmetic difference between PC ETB promos and standard ETB promos: the card design, art, and game stats are identical.
At MSRP the $20 premium bought 2 extra packs plus the stamped promos. At current secondary prices, the PC ETB runs $50–$100 above the standard, driven by the Pokémon Center exclusive label rather than any difference in pack contents.
The PC ETB came in both Walking Wake (blue) and Iron Leaves (green) versions, each with the PC-stamped promos for that character.
How It Compares to Other Temporal Forces Products
If you want Temporal Forces packs, here are the three main sealed options. For more on the set itself, see the full Temporal Forces SV05 guide.
| Product | Packs | MSRP | MSRP Per Pack | Includes accessories | Promo card |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| ETB (standard) | 9 | $49.99 | $5.55 | Yes | Yes (Walking Wake ex or Iron Leaves ex) |
| Booster Bundle | 6 | $29.99 | $5.00 | No | No |
| Booster Box (36 packs) | 36 | $143.64 | $3.99 | No | No |
The Booster Box gives the lowest MSRP per pack and the highest overall pack count, but it ships without any accessories, a promo, or a player's guide. The ETB costs more per pack at MSRP but packages the accessories and promo into one box for players building or maintaining a deck.
The Booster Bundle sits in the middle: cheaper per pack than the ETB, but also without accessories or a promo. For a competitive player who already has sleeves and dice, the Bundle is efficient. For a newer player or someone gifting a complete package, the ETB is the more useful product.
Who Should Buy the Temporal Forces ETB
The ETB is the right pick in three situations.
First, you need Temporal Forces sleeves. Walking Wake and Iron Leaves designs are not sold separately; the ETB is the only way to get them sealed.
Second, you want the promo card. Serebii's Temporal Forces card list confirms these promos appear only in the ETB. Third, you are gifting a complete starter package: packs, sleeves, dice, energy, and a deck box in one box.
Skip the ETB if you only want maximum packs per dollar. The Booster Box delivers 36 packs at $3.99 MSRP per pack versus $5.55 for the ETB. Collectors who just want packs pay a premium they may not need.
Giving It as a Gift This Holiday Season
The Temporal Forces ETB is a clean gift for players aged 10 and up. The box is self-contained: packs, sleeves, dice, energy, and deck box are all inside.
The Walking Wake version (blue box) tends to read as the more recognizable pick because of its Suicune-inspired design. The Iron Leaves version suits someone who prefers Grass-type or Future Paradox Pokémon.
For storage options that pair well with any ETB, the Pokémon TCG accessories guide covers sleeves, binders, and card boxes.
