Unova Victini Illustration Collection (2025): Contents and MSRP
By Dexhaul Team · October 9, 2026 · 5 min read
The Unova Victini Illustration Collection gives you Victini in three distinct card formats plus four booster packs from the Black Bolt and White Flare sets.
The box contains a standard Victini foil promo, a Victini Poké Ball parallel promo, an oversized foil Victini card, two Scarlet & Violet Black Bolt booster packs, and two Scarlet & Violet White Flare booster packs. That is five items total, with all three cards being exclusive to this product.
Here is the full breakdown of what is inside, how the cost compares to other Black Bolt and White Flare formats, and who should reach for it first.
What's Inside the Unova Victini Illustration Collection
All three Victini cards in this box are product exclusives. None of the promos appear in the standard Black Bolt or White Flare pull sheets.
| Item | Quantity | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Victini foil promo card | 1 | Full-art foil, exclusive to this box |
| Victini Poké Ball parallel promo | 1 | Same artwork as the standard promo, Poké Ball holofoil treatment |
| Oversize Victini foil card | 1 | Jumbo display card; not tournament-legal |
| Scarlet & Violet Black Bolt booster packs | 2 | Full SV10 Black Bolt expansion content |
| Scarlet & Violet White Flare booster packs | 2 | Full SV10 White Flare expansion content |
The two regular-size promos are the same Victini design printed with different foil treatments. The standard promo carries a clean foil finish; the Poké Ball parallel uses the Poké Ball holofoil pattern, which adds a layered Poké Ball texture visible when the card catches the light.

MSRP and Price Per Pack
The Unova Victini Illustration Collection carries a suggested retail price of $19.99 USD, consistent with other 4-pack Illustration Collections in the Scarlet & Violet series. At that price, each booster pack costs $5.00 before factoring in the three exclusive promo cards.
| Format | MSRP | Booster Packs | MSRP Per Pack | Extras Included |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Victini Illustration Collection | $19.99 | 4 (2BB + 2WF) | $5.00 | 2 foil Victini promos, 1 oversize card |
| Black Bolt or White Flare ETB | $49.99 | 9 | $5.55 | Accessories, full-art promo, storage box |
| Black Bolt or White Flare Booster Bundle | $23.99 | 6 | $4.00 | None |
The Booster Bundle gives the lowest MSRP per pack at $4.00, but includes nothing other than packs. The Illustration Collection sits between the Bundle and the ETB in both pack count and MSRP, with the Victini exclusives as the differentiator. Current independent seller prices run above MSRP; check the DexHaul collection boxes page for live listings.
Why Victini for the Unova Sets
Victini holds National Pokédex number 494, placing it at the very start of the Unova block before Snivy (#495), before any of the Unova starters, before every other Unova Pokémon. It is the only Mythical in the National Pokédex to precede its own region's starters by dex number, a quirk that dates back to Pokémon Black and White.
In the original games, Victini was obtainable only by visiting Liberty Garden island with a Wi-Fi-distributed Liberty Pass, a limited-time event that ended in 2011. That backstory made it a desirable collectible long before the TCG returned to Unova. Pairing the Black Bolt and White Flare era with a Victini Illustration Collection is a direct nod to the Unova theme those sets carry.
The dual-foil promo format in this box is also unusual. Most Illustration Collections include a single promo design. Here, the same Victini artwork appears in two foil treatments side by side, which makes the box specifically worth opening next to a flat-lay display rather than immediately filing away.
Release Date and Timeline
The Unova Victini Illustration Collection launched on August 1, 2025, two weeks after the full Black Bolt and White Flare retail release on July 18, 2025. Per Bulbapedia's Scarlet & Violet merchandise page, this two-week staggered window matches the pattern for Illustration Collections across the SV era.
| Date | Event | Status |
|---|---|---|
| July 18, 2025 | Black Bolt and White Flare retail launch | Released |
| August 1, 2025 | Unova Victini Illustration Collection retail launch | Released |
The collection is past its initial retail window, so MSRP quantities have largely sold through at big-box stores. Independent sellers on the secondary market are the primary source.
Who Should Buy the Victini Illustration Collection
Victini collectors
This is the densest single-product concentration of Victini promos in the Scarlet & Violet era. None of the promos appear anywhere else in the Black Bolt or White Flare product lineup, and the dual-foil treatment makes the two small promos worth displaying alongside the oversize card.
Unova-themed binder builders
If you are assembling a Unova-focused collection and want the region's signature Mythical with an exclusive card design, this is the purpose-built option. No other SV10-era product gives you a Victini card.
Who should skip it
If booster packs are the goal, the Booster Bundle's six packs at $23.99 MSRP beats this box's four packs at $19.99. Collectors hunting Special Illustration Rares from Black Bolt or White Flare will pull better odds from the Elite Trainer Box or a full Booster Box. The Victini Collection exists for the promos, not the pack count.
