Celebrations Dragapult Prime Collection: Contents (2021)
By Dexhaul Team · October 12, 2026 · 6 min read
The Celebrations Dragapult Prime Collection contains a foil Dragapult Prime promo (SWSH132), a matching oversize card, a 4-pocket mini binder, a metal coin, 2 Pokémon TCG: Celebrations booster packs, and 1 additional Sword and Shield booster pack.
This product released as part of the Pokémon TCG: Celebrations 25th anniversary wave in Q4 2021. The official Pokémon gallery confirms the contents listed above. Celebrations itself launched October 8, 2021.
One important clarification before buying: the "Celebrations Dragapult Prime Collection" is not the "Celebrations Prime Collection." The Prime Collection is a separate, larger bundle product listed at far higher prices. If you are searching for the individual Dragapult Prime box, make sure the listing shows roughly 3 booster packs and the binder, not a multi-box display.

What's inside
Every item confirmed by the official Pokémon gallery page:
| Item | Qty | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Foil Dragapult Prime promo card | 1 | SWSH132 Black Star Promo; exclusive to this product |
| Oversize Dragapult Prime promo card | 1 | Jumbo version of SWSH132; for display, not tournament play |
| 4-pocket mini binder | 1 | Dragapult Prime artwork; holds up to 40 cards |
| Metal coin | 1 | Dragapult Prime design |
| Pokémon TCG: Celebrations booster packs | 2 | 4 cards per pack; 25th anniversary set |
| Sword and Shield-era booster pack | 1 | Standard 10-card format |
The 2 Celebrations packs each yield 4 cards from the 25-card Celebrations set, for 8 anniversary set cards. The 1 additional Sword and Shield pack adds 10 more cards. Combined with the 2 promos, total card content is 20 cards.
Pack count here is deliberately low. The Dragapult Prime collection is one of several small individual collections in the Celebrations wave: the draw is the exclusive promo card and the binder, not pack volume.

The Dragapult Prime promo card
Dragapult Prime (SWSH132) is a Black Star Promo card unique to this collection. The "Prime" title here is a 25th anniversary honorific, not the HGSS-era Prime rarity mechanic. It does not function differently in the physical card game from a standard holo Dragapult.
What makes this noteworthy for Celebrations collectors: Dragapult was one of the most competitively dominant Pokémon of the early Sword and Shield era. The VMAX format's foundational ADP/Zacian build eventually gave way to Dragapult VMAX as a format-defining threat in 2020-2021, right before the Celebrations set released. Picking Dragapult as the anchor for an individual 25th anniversary collection placed a top-tier competitive card alongside fan favorites like Charizard, Pikachu, and Sylveon in the same wave.
Dragapult Prime here is a regular-frame holo promo. The full-art and special illustration versions of Dragapult appear in other sets. The SWSH132 promo is the only Dragapult card with "Prime" in its name, making it a genuine one-of-a-kind entry in the Sword and Shield Black Star Promo run.
How it compares to other Celebrations individual collections
The Celebrations wave included several individual collection boxes alongside the Celebrations Elite Trainer Box and the Celebrations Ultra-Premium Collection. Here is how the Dragapult Prime collection sits against its direct siblings:
| Dragapult Prime | Pikachu V-UNION | Lance's Charizard V | Pikachu VMAX PFC | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Release | Q4 2021 | Q4 2021 | Q4 2021 | Q4 2021 |
| Celebrations packs | 2 | 4 | 4 | 8 |
| Total packs | 3 | 7 | 6 | 11 |
| Exclusive promo(s) | Dragapult Prime SWSH132 | 4-piece Pikachu V-UNION | Lance's Charizard V | Pikachu V + Pikachu VMAX |
| Oversize card | Yes | No | No | No |
| Mini binder | Yes (4-pocket) | No | No | No |
| Figure | No | No | No | Gigantamax Pikachu |
The Dragapult Prime collection trades pack count for the oversize card and mini binder combination, which no other individual collection in this wave includes. If the binder is useful to you, this is the only small Celebrations collection that ships with one.
The Lance's Charizard V collection carries more Celebrations packs and a higher-demand promo. The Pikachu VMAX Premium Figure Collection is in a different tier entirely, with 11 total packs and the Gigantamax display figure.
Who it's for, and who should skip it
Buy it for the exclusive SWSH132 promo and the binder
This is the right pick if you are completing a Celebrations promo set or specifically want the Dragapult Prime Black Star Promo. SWSH132 is not available in any other sealed product. The 4-pocket mini binder is also exclusive to this collection in the Celebrations wave.
Skip it if pack volume is your goal
Three total packs is the lowest pack count of any Celebrations collection box. The Celebrations ETB ships with 10 Celebrations packs and a full game accessory suite. At current secondary market prices, the per-pack cost from this collection is not competitive with buying Celebrations packs separately.
Skip it if you want the competitive Dragapult VMAX
The SWSH132 promo here is a standard holo promo, not the Dragapult VMAX that dominated tournament play in 2020-2021. The Darkness Ablaze and Chilling Reign sets are the sets to seek out for the competitive Dragapult VMAX card.

Frequently asked questions
What is the Celebrations Dragapult Prime Collection?
It is a small individual collection box from the Pokémon TCG 25th Anniversary Celebrations wave, released Q4 2021. It contains a foil Dragapult Prime Black Star Promo (SWSH132), a matching jumbo card, a 4-pocket mini binder, a metal coin, 2 Celebrations booster packs, and 1 Sword and Shield booster pack.
Is the Celebrations Dragapult Prime Collection the same as the Celebrations Prime Collection?
No. The "Celebrations Prime Collection" is a separate, much larger and more expensive bundle product. The individual Dragapult Prime collection contains 3 packs and the promo cards described above. If a listing shows prices above $300, it is almost certainly the larger bundle, not this individual box.
When did the Celebrations Dragapult Prime collection release?
It released in Q4 2021 as part of the Pokémon TCG: Celebrations 25th anniversary wave. The core Celebrations set launched October 8, 2021, per Serebii. The official Pokémon gallery confirms Q4 2021 for this specific SKU without a day-level date.
How many Celebrations packs come in the Dragapult Prime collection?
Two Celebrations booster packs, plus 1 Sword and Shield-era booster pack, for 3 packs total. The Celebrations packs each contain 4 cards; the Sword and Shield pack contains 10. Total pack-based card yield is 18 cards, plus the 2 promo cards for 20 cards.
Can you get the Dragapult Prime promo (SWSH132) anywhere else?
The sealed Dragapult Prime SWSH132 promo is exclusive to this collection. It is available as a loose single from secondary market sellers, including from the listings on DexHaul. The oversize version is also sold individually by some sellers. Neither appears in any other sealed Pokémon TCG product.
